Need to amend my review for 11/11/22. I was initially very happy with my experience with Luxury Nails. They were happy to take me as a walk-in on a Friday midday. Tina was professional, efficient & pleasant. I received a beautiful French gel manicure for a Saturday Baltimore Wedding, however they didn’t last long as they started chipping in less than 48 hours! After paying $45 for the gel French Manicure + a nice tip, I am very DISAPPOINTED!
I walked in for a pedicure and dipping powder set, and the owners accommodated me. The woman did an excellent job on my pedicure, but terrible on this nail set.
They ended up closing while she worked on my nails and I could tell she was rushing. Before she put on the top coat, I asked if she was done because the shape and filing looked incomplete. She tried to shape more but it was too late….
I paid for the nails and asked if I could return tomorrow for a new set because I was very displeased. The man said that I could but the woman said no because she worked hard and “that’s not right”. She told him to give me a refund and for me to not return. I didn’t understand her rudeness and disrespect, especially since I was not rude to her when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Clearly she didn’t know what she was doing, but that isn’t my fault. Her customer service was fine until I wasn’t satisfied.
Don is the best ever!!! Let me tell you the salon is very welcoming. His service was outstanding and the color 112 is fabulous. Don, is very nice patient and does great work. Very professional. I will be returning. Thanks Don Happy ???? customer Tanya..
This was definitely one of my best nail salon experiences! The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I appreciated getting a great recommendation for what color nail to do and felt like my feet were tenderly cared for. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is clean and soothing. Definitely make a visit!
The owners at Luxury Nail and Spa of Baltimore went out of their way to accommodate me. I went there to get a filling and pedicure done on my lunch break. Since my time was somewhat limited, the male owner did my pedicure and the female owner completed my filling. They were both very nice, warm and friendly. I told them I would recommend others to their salon. If I could give them 7 stars I would. I normally do not provide reviews but I made an exception in this case because of the 5-star treatment I received.
I was in Baltimore for an event and didn’t have time to get it done before I left so I stopped in to luxury nails because it was near my hotel, I got a full set of acrylic nails and it was the best set I ever got, Chanel did my nails beautifully. Perfect thin and natural looking and they lasted for a month. I wish I could go see Chanel every time I needed to get my nails done but it’s kinda far from Pittsburgh lol. Thank you Chanel ❤️
Tina is great! She pays attention to my requests, is personable, and does an amazing job with my nails. I recently switched between three different shapes and she perfected each one. 10/10 recommend.

My fiancé called and asked if they had appointment availability for a polish change. They confirmed that they did and I arrived within 10 minutes of that phone call.When I first walked in, the female owner did not greet me and seemed actually annoyed by my presence.
Alternatively, the male who was working was professional, and even when I said I didn't want gel, he was amenable to showing me the other colors. I picked a color and got seated. No one else was in the salon at this time. Unfortunately, though, my coffee cup, which was placed in the cupholder of the pedicure station, toppled over. I was really embarrassed and immediately asked for towels to help clean up the spill. The female owner was seated and didn't get up to get me any towels, a mop, or anything that would help contain the spill.
She literally just looked at me and did nothing . The male, however, got towels and even a mop. I started to help him clean up with the towels, and he asked me to just step aside so he could manage the situation. The woman then began to yell at me because she was upset that I had moved. She stated that I would trail the liquid with me. I had only moved slightly to the side. She continued with her tangent and at some point, both of them were giving me separate instructions. He would say one thing, and she would say the opposite. The male, though,still remained very professional and calm. The woman, however, begin to hurl insults. After I sat down as the male had instructed, she came and stood over me and said that he needed to stop cleaning up and that I needed to do it by myself. She instructed him to hand me the mop and he didn't. She continued to say rude things the entire time so eventually, I decided that I would leave because her attitude was so terrible. I did not want to sit through a polish change and be berated the entire time.
I let the male know that I would still pay him for his time, because he had cleaned up a spill, which was my fault. (He had not started on the polish change). The woman then, butted in and said, " you don't need to pay for anything - just get out of my shop." Furthermore, as I was walking to the front to leave she continued to come up to me yelling. I have never witnessed this behavior at other salons in the area. I had to tell her to get out of my face and at this point, I was not as calm. I had ignored up until this point.
Additionally, when one customer arrived for her 11am appointment, they told her that her nail technician called in sick. They did not offer to service her. Instead, the customer asked if the woman could do a pink and white set for her since her technician was not there. The woman begin to ask her if she had her nails done there before and laundry list of other questions. I am not sure if she was able to get her nails done. This particular customer had already walked outside as I was exiting the salon.
I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but I can attest to that level of professionalism and service, and it was not good.
