M Nails Boutique has received a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insights into their strengths and weaknesses. In order to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, let's break down the comments:
Strengths:
1. Skill and Talent:
- Suzy is highly praised as the best nail technician.
- The attention to detail in the nail services is highlighted.
- The quality of the nails and overall outcome of the services is praised.
- They do a great job with dip nails and pedicures.
2. Customer Service:

- The staff is described as pleasant and friendly.
- The atmosphere is mentioned as nice, calm, and quiet.
3. Cleanliness:

Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent Service:
- One commenter had a poor experience - they were initially given a different time for their appointment and then asked to leave before their nail polish had dried.
- Another commenter mentions that their nails broke sooner than expected after getting a dip powder manicure, which led to disappointment and a feeling that the service was not worth the price paid.
- One commenter had a terrible experience where the technician did a poor job, didn't remove cuticles, and was rushed during the service due to closing time.
2. Lack of Communication:
- One commenter felt that the salon should have communicated better about their inability to accommodate acrylic nails. They were told they would have to soak off their acrylic, but were then told there wasn't enough time for it. This lack of communication led to a wasted visit for the customer.
3. Unprofessionalism:
- One commenter found it inappropriate that an R-rated movie was playing in the salon, potentially offending customers or children. This was seen as unprofessional.
4. Lack of Flexibility:
- One commenter had a negative experience where the staff were not willing to help with a single nail fix. This inflexibility in addressing a customer's needs may have cost M Nails Boutique repeat business and potential referrals.
In conclusion, M Nails Boutique has several strengths including highly skilled technicians, good customer service, and a clean salon. However, they have weaknesses in terms of inconsistent service, lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and inflexibility. Addressing these weaknesses can help them improve and provide a better overall experience for their customers, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Suzy is the best ????
I moved to Vernon Hills, but still can not find anyone like her. I drove to here 39 min for her. Will come back again as usual
My nails were gorgeous. I got a matching pedicure (not pictured) and it was very relaxing. However, I did the dip powder manicure with some fake nails and was told it’ll last 2-3 weeks. One of them broke off after 1 week & 3 days. I’m usually willing to pay for dip powder because it lasts a couple weeks, but just over a week isn’t long enough to make it worth the price I pay.
Also as a side note, I didn’t really care, but I found it inappropriate that they were playing an R-rated movie the entire time I was there. What if the movie offended me or if someone brought their child in? Maybe then they would’ve changed it, but seemed unprofessional regardless.
Horrible experience, they told me to come in 5:30. Once I arrived the lady said no 5:45. I said fine then waited for 20 min. did a poor job, didn’t remove cuticles and by the time I went to dry my nails. They asked me to leave cuz they’re closing. I asked how can I leave with my nail polish still wet, she told me sorry we wanna go home. Why take someone in when you don’t want to provide them with service???
My regular nail salon was closed so I came here and they did such a great job on my nails! The attention to detail was great and the atmosphere was nice, calm and quiet. I'll definitely be going back.
I had one of the worst experiences I've had in my life at a nail salon. I told the lady I wanted shorter nails and she basically rolled her eyes at me. I don't normally get my nails done but I'm fairly positive the technicians don't normally talk about your nails in front of you in a group. I felt very judged and I will not be going back for my next set..
I came in as a Sunday walk in last minute with my daughter and not only did they accommodate us, they did an amazing job. I highly recommend this place for dip nails and pedicures. They are very pleasant as well and fast if you are in a hurry. Overall highly satisfied with my experience and will definitely be back.
The salon is nice and clean however I went in to go get nails AND pedicure done making it known when I walked in. I was informed that they don’t don’t acrylic and would just have to take it off in order to do my nails. They then quickly sat me in the pedi chair and when I was done and expecting to get my nails done they told me they didn’t have time to soak off my acrylic. I just wish they told me that before I started or I would have gone elsewhere. Other than that the pedicure was nice.
I walked into this nail salon needing only one nail fixed. They asked how they could help me and once I told them it was for one nail, they would not help me. While I understand this wouldn’t make them much money, you should never turn a paying customer away. Little did they know, I was looking for a new nail salon which would have lead to repeat business and referrals. They lost a lot by turning one “tiny” customer away that they couldn’t be bothered to help.
