Weaknesses:
1. Inaccurate wait times: One customer mentioned that the salon's quoted wait times are usually inaccurate. This can be frustrating for customers who may have to wait longer than expected. Improving the accuracy of wait time estimates can help manage customer expectations.
2. High turnover of workers: Several customers mentioned that the salon has a high turnover of workers, making it difficult to get too comfortable with a specific technician. Constantly changing technicians can impact the consistency and quality of services provided.
3. Inconsiderate customer service: One customer mentioned that the salon was inconsiderate and unhelpful when they requested a redo or a refund. Poor customer service can tarnish the salon's reputation and result in negative experiences for customers.
4. Substandard service and rude technician: One customer had a negative experience with a specific technician who was rude, provided substandard service, and displayed poor customer service. This type of experience can significantly impact a customer's perception of the salon and deter them from returning.
5. Lack of attention to detail: Multiple customers mentioned instances where the salon did not pay attention to detail, such as sloppily applying dip powder, not applying lotion or massage after a pedicure, and neglecting to apply oil or lotion to the cuticles and hands. Lack of attention to detail can result in a subpar service and disappoint customers.
6. Inconsistency in service availability: One customer mentioned that it can be challenging to get an appointment with specific technicians as they are usually booked. This inconsistency in service availability can be frustrating for customers who prefer to have a specific technician for their services.
In conclusion, Magical Nails & Spa in Port Washington has strengths in providing good pedicures, friendly staff, experienced technicians, and long-lasting manicures. However, the salon has weaknesses in terms of inaccurate wait times, high turnover of workers, inconsiderate customer service, substandard service, lack of attention to detail, and inconsistency in service availability. Improving these areas can enhance the overall customer experience and strengthen the reputation of the salon.

I called before I came arrived around 4:30 the pedicure took 2 hours they gave me a plastic print out of prices I chose the 35$ basic pedicure but decided to go with French tip which was a bad choice the whit lines are slanted and gives my feet a deformed look I asked her to fix them and she messes it up worse I was coming to get my nails done by a certain guy he was very rude ignoring me when I was asking if he would be able to do my nails he put on his coat as if he was leaving then one of his regular customers came in he took back off his coat did her nails n left right after they told me to wait for other guy to do y nail n fix my toes and that was at 6:30 moral of this review is treat all customers fairly I spent 109 on my daughter nails and toes and 55 on my toes that I’m going to have to go get fixed elsewhere I get it they were ready to go home but you shouldn’t charge a extra15 for French tip if you can’t make a straight line or don’t tell customers to come in if your in a rush to close!!!!!
I usually don’t have a problem, getting a seat at the shop however, the last visit it was very packed, which is understandable because of the upcoming holiday. Their quote times are usually inaccurate so if I were you, I would stay in the area otherwise it’s kind of like “move your feet lose your seat”! They have a high turnover for workers as well, so don’t get too comfortable with a nail Tech. I miss Tony !There are only 3 or so people that have been there since they’ve been at Bayshore and they are usually booked by appointment.
Tried getting redo on my nails or request my money back but they are too inconsiderate to do either. I’m waiting and they have not been helpful.
They do really good pedicures so I mainly go here for the pedi's they're so relaxing????
This was my first and last time going there. Services were not worth the price, $105 plus the undeserved $10 tip I paid and not to mention, the tech had the audacity to ask if she could have a tip. The Tech, Vivienne, was rude, provided sub standard service, and poor customer service. When applying the dip powder, it was all over my hands and on the table. No lotion was applied after the pedicure, no massage and polish was applied outside my toes. Sloppy! The top of my right foot was scrubbed with the stone and she noticed it was discomrting to me when seeing the frown on my face, looks horrible! I kept getting yelled at that i wasn't relaxing my fingers when they were being dipped into the powder. Also, there was no oil
applied to the cuticles as well I as no lotion on my hands. I requested a flower design and she declined by saying, she didn't do those, which was no different from all the nail colors i selected and she said they didn't have them before actually looking for them. I went back shortly after i left because the polish on the big toe was smuged and polish was on the outside of the toe toe next to it. As i was explaini g this and showing her, she blamed me and walked away.
This was the worst nail.spa experience I ever had! I will never go back to Magical nail hell again!

Loved my experience here . They were very polite and I got a great shellac manicure that last about a month , no chipping . Would recommend!
Amy is my tech, she is always willing to try new things. Especially when I bring in photos of what I want. I love all my nails.
