Quick Facts About Makou African Hair Braiding
Makou African Hair Braiding place has received both positive and negative comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will consider the different aspects highlighted in the comments.
One positive aspect mentioned by a customer is the quick and efficient service. They were satisfied with the speed and quality of the hair twist they received. This suggests that Makou African Hair Braiding may be able to provide fast and satisfactory service to customers.
Another customer commends the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They had a positive interaction with Makou, who provided an excellent hairstyling experience. This indicates that the salon may have a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere, which could be a strength for attracting customers.
However, there are also some areas of improvement highlighted in the comments. One customer warns others not to ignore the negative reviews and shares their own terrible experience. They express disappointment with the lack of understanding of certain braiding styles and dissatisfaction with the final result. This suggests that Makou African Hair Braiding may have limited expertise in certain braiding techniques and a lack of attention to detail.
Furthermore, a customer shares a negative experience with regards to customer service. They mention being asked for more money, their hair not being what they requested, and encountering rude behavior from the staff. This indicates a weakness in Makou African Hair Braiding's customer service and communication skills. It is essential for a business to have excellent customer service in order to retain customers and build a positive reputation.
Another weakness highlighted is the issue of wait times and the availability of braiders. One customer expresses disappointment with the lack of prompt service and the unprofessional behavior of a particular braider. They mention that only one braider was working and another employee arrived but did not start braiding customers' hair. This suggests a potential weakness in the organization and management of the salon, leading to long wait times and customer dissatisfaction.
Additionally, a customer mentions that the salon does not wash the customer's hair before the styling process. This is seen as a negative aspect, as it is common practice in many salons to wash the hair prior to braiding in order to ensure cleanliness and proper preparation of the hair.
Overall, Makou African Hair Braiding has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. The strengths include quick and efficient service, professionalism, and friendliness of some staff members. However, there are weaknesses in areas such as customer service, expertise in certain braiding styles, wait times, and hair preparation procedures. These weaknesses could potentially impact the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon. It is important for the salon to address and improve upon these weaknesses in order to attract and retain customers.
Best TL Reviews
I am reading a lot of views and I couldn't agree with yall more. I know it may he a drive but have yall tried Conteh in Atlanta 1881 South Hampton Rd Atlanta Georgia they are pretty good as well as this shop in Lawrenceville I know it's far but it is worth it.
Terrible customer service. I mean they kept asking me for more money, hair wasn’t even exactly what I asked for and they old ladies were nasty. I will never go there again.
I love my natural hair twist ????
Very nice and quick service.
Thank you
NEVER will I return again!!!!! Nor would I recommend ANYONE! This was the absolute worse experience ever. They barely understand English. You show them a picture of how you want your hair, and they still do it the way they want. I was so unsatisfied. They are not update with certain braiding styles. I’m very disappointed. I wanted to express this to the owner about my dislikes of my hair , but she left and NEVER returned. Please don’t waste your money nor time.
Do not ignore the bad reviews, I did and I had a horrible experience, 1st off I get my hair braided all the time and I showed the lady 3 different pictures of me in the style I wanted and she told me she couldn’t do any of them she said my hair was to soft. I told her to do simple corn rolls with my hair no weave and she started talking in her language and said “I do for you” she braided my hair so tight and was pulling it out from the root. I told her it was too tight she got mad and took it out ripping my hair and kept saying sorry. I have blisters from where she was pulling my hair so tight. I will recommend going somewhere else... they don’t wash your hair prior to doing a style. You have to pay before you get service first... not cool
They are very professional and friendly I will be returning for future braids they have gain a new client.
Arrived as a walk in. I found the staff frienly and professional. Makou was my stylist. She did an amazing job. I appreciated her honesty. She told me the type of braids that she could do due to the length of hair.I would highly recommend the Salon
Horrible, this use to be my favorite place to get my hair braided but not anymore. Only one braider working, another braider came in but she sat in the recliner and proceeded to chill out and talk. Her attitude is horrible. She has yet to get up and braid Anybody hair; mind you there are six people waiting. She strolled in at 959 it’s 1030. She really came to work not to work. Please pay the money and go somewhere else. I will not patronize this business ever again. Really wish I could give Zero stars.
