We went there for a Bachelorette lunch, party of 10. Food was good but can be improved.
As for the carnitas, I was disappointed. Under seasoned. The pork had a sour taste to it, as if it was reheated or cooked the day before. And yes I know the difference between sour orange, lime or lemon juice in meat. That distinctive sour bad food, you recognize it when you taste it.
I even asked the server if it was cooked today, he said "As far as I know, yes." I should have sent it back. I threw up a couple of hours later.
The rice portion was very little, flattened on the plate to appear more than it is ???? price was fair for the food. Friendly staff, food came out very quickly, establishment was clean.
I don't live in Mississippi, I was there for the weekend so just be careful. It could have been a faux pas from the kitchen crew so I'm not condemning them for this dish. If you question the quality of a dish you're paying for; send it back. Don't eat it.
The food is really good ..the only complaint I have is the chicken is never the same in the tacos...
Was surprised since I’m from San Antonio. This place actually has good Mexican, compared to anywhere else on the coast that I have been to so far. Great service and staff . Chrorizo was awesome
Loved this delicious tex-mex cuisine! We got a bit of everything, quesadillas, queso and bean dip, chili rellenos, tacos, steak fajitas, plus good cheap margaritas for $3.50. A whole meal for 4 adults plus drinks was only $65! (I took a bunch of photos of the menu for folks like us who wanted to order and pick up but the menu is not posted online.) definitely would come back!
Save your money guys
It’s a clean place with nice people but the food is terrible. Watery and gritty cheese dip. Chimichangas are the size of chicken nuggets stale chips gross.
First time coming here and we live in Pass Christian! We were always curious and it was a pleasant surprise. The service was awesome and the food was very good! We wish we had come sooner!
The service was very nice and prompt, even though there was a 15 top in the same room. The food was good. But they really need to stop charging for cheese dip.
Very nice family place. Food is outstanding. Service was great.
