Quick Facts About Millenia Nails & Spa
Millenia Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. In order to assess the overall strengths and weaknesses of the salon, it is necessary to examine each comment and evaluate their impact.
One of the recurring themes in the comments is the quality of service provided by the technicians at Millenia Nails & Spa. While some customers had positive experiences, others expressed dissatisfaction with the services they received. One customer mentioned that they paid $60 for a "coffin" style manicure and were disappointed with the poor quality. This indicates a weakness in the salon's ability to consistently deliver high-quality services. Another customer reinforced this sentiment by stating that they received subpar service more than once at the salon. These negative experiences can be detrimental to the reputation of Millenia Nails & Spa, as customers may become reluctant to return or recommend the salon to others.
However, it is worth noting that there were also positive comments about the salon's services. One customer had a fantastic experience and left the salon satisfied with the job done on their nails. They mentioned that it all depends on the person who works on your nails, suggesting that there may be inconsistencies in the performance of the technicians at Millenia Nails & Spa. This indicates a strength of the salon, as they do have the potential to provide excellent services, but need to improve consistency among their staff.
Another strength of Millenia Nails & Spa mentioned in the comments is the cleanliness of the salon. One customer specifically highlighted the cleanliness by mentioning the use of bowl liners that get changed after each client. This attention to cleanliness can be seen as a positive point for the salon, as it ensures a hygienic environment for customers. However, it is important to address the concern raised by another customer who mentioned that a technician had visible nail fungus and was not wearing gloves. This negligence in maintaining proper hygiene practices is a significant weakness for Millenia Nails & Spa and can result in serious health risks for customers.
The comments also touched upon the pricing of services at Millenia Nails & Spa. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with hidden charges, such as a $15 fee to remove polish, and considered the prices to be overpriced. Another customer mentioned that they paid $97 for a gel mani/pedi, which they felt was robbery. These comments highlight a weakness in the salon's pricing strategy, as customers perceive the services to be overpriced and feel that they were not getting value for their money. This can deter potential customers from choosing Millenia Nails & Spa over other salons in the area.
In terms of customer service, the salon received mixed reviews. One customer mentioned that the technicians were nice, while another mentioned a language barrier preventing much conversation. This inconsistency in customer service can be seen as a weakness for Millenia Nails & Spa. Providing friendly and effective communication with customers is crucial for a successful salon, as it ensures a positive experience and builds customer loyalty.
In summary, the strengths of Millenia Nails & Spa include the potential to provide excellent services, a clean environment with hygienic practices, and friendly customer service. However, the weaknesses lie in the inconsistencies in service quality and customer service, the pricing strategy, and the neglect of proper hygiene practices. Addressing these weaknesses will be crucial for Millenia Nails & Spa to improve their reputation and attract more satisfied customers.
Best TL Reviews
Just paid $60 for a "coffin" style and didn't realize how poorly done this manicure was until I got home. Should of used my voice more, recieved a subpar job more than once here and I'm certainly not going to make the same mistake again. Service was nice enough, but looking at these fills me with anger.
**edit for reference- the 2nd photo with blue nails was a FAB coffin style fill I recieved from AneeLe's Nail Bar in South Portland. It took the tech at least 30 minutes to file down the overly thick set that was put on at this place. Highly reccomend Jenny at AnnLe's. Slightly cheaper and 100% better service. .
This was my first time going here and before going I was very skeptical after reading these reviews. From my experience they did a fantastic job. I think it all depends on the person that works with your nails. I got tips with dip powder. I showed her a picture of what i wanted and she completely met my expectations. I left there very satisfied. Amazing work!
First time here for a girl's weekend. Decided to pop in and have our nails done. Busy place as it's in the mall area. I waited 20 minutes while sitting in a chair next to my friend while she was having her nails done. Then he sends me to someone else. Lady was nice enough. Had gel nails done for $25.00. Not bad, I guess. She did leave some polish on my skin that I didn't notice until after i was gone. I've had better manicures at other places. Too far for me to go back. But I'm glad we went because we were just out for a good time.
I love the man that works there. He gives the best pedicures. It's very clean with bowl liners that get changed after each client.
I just enjoyed the millennial manicure and eyebrow waxing at the time. Amy at station number eight took good care of me. Despite the language barrier preventing much conversation, I felt comfortable and relaxed during the process. My hands and forearms feel very soft. My clear polish was applied very quickly, but it looks nice and shiny.
(Edit: my clear polish started bubbling and peeling the next day - not cool).
She did a good job on my eyebrows and offered me a mirror during the process to make sure she was doing what I wanted. A big plus is that all the metal tools used on me were sterilized, a downer is that the file was still dirty. Overall, I will opt to try a different place if in the area again.
Hidden charges! $15 to take off polish. Polish was old. Overpriced. $97 for a gel mani/pedi is robbery! Less than impressed!
Annie did a nice job on my acrylic set. I asked for the tips to be thinned and she did a great job, caring for all the details. Some of the gel polish was too thick so it ended up dark in some spots. Only I’ll notice it though. I only wish that more care would go toward the cuticles. Mine are very thick and the nails would look better if they were back where the cuticles start. I will go back.
I share similar concerns as the other reviews about sanitation at this salon. The technician who did my nails had visible nail fungus and was not wearing gloves.
