5. Skilled staff: The second comment praises the nail tech Jenny for being detail-oriented and ensuring that the customer's nails are in perfect condition. This indicates that the staff at the nail design place are skilled and capable of delivering quality nail services.
Weaknesses:
1. Strict policies: The second comment mentions that the nail design place has strict policies, such as requiring appointments and cash tips. This can be inconvenient for customers who prefer more flexibility and options in scheduling and payment methods.
2. Lack of flexibility: The same comment mentions that the staff at the nail design place tried to push the customer towards gel nails instead of honoring their preference for SNS nails. This suggests that the salon may not always accommodate customer preferences and may prioritize their own interests.
3. Limited nail options: The same comment also mentions the absence of ombré nail options at the salon. This indicates that the salon may have a limited range of nail design options, which can be a drawback for customers who are looking for more variety and creativity in their nail services.
4. Safety concerns: The third comment raises concerns about safety and hygiene at the nail design place. The customer mentions being cut multiple times, and the salon's response was dismissive and rude. This indicates a lack of professionalism and a disregard for customer safety.
5. Poor customer service: The last comment highlights a negative experience with customer service. The customer felt discriminated against and was denied service without a valid reason. This reflects poorly on the salon's reputation and suggests a lack of inclusivity and professionalism.
6. Durability of nail services: The fourth comment complains about the nail polish coming off just one day after getting the nails done. This suggests that the salon may not prioritize using high-quality products or ensuring long-lasting results for their customers.
7. Inconsistent information: The fifth comment mentions that the salon displayed incorrect open and close days on their doors. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and may lead to confusion and inconvenience for customers.
In conclusion, while the nail design place has strengths such as good customer service, attention to detail, and a loyal customer base, it also has weaknesses in terms of strict policies, limited options, safety concerns, and poor customer service in some cases. These weaknesses can impact the overall customer experience and may deter potential customers from visiting the salon.

I get my hair done in this plaza, and I was in SUPER need of a new nail shop. I wear my own natural nails, and they’re important to me because I was a chronic nail bitter, so I’m particular about my nails…I went on a whim and gave this place a shot. I noticed that there were a lot of repeat customers, and my nail tech, Jean knew all of them by name as well as the colors they use….that’s a big, BIG deal because no one has ever cared about me that much, so for that and the attention to detail she gave me without an appointment…I definitely appreciate. I’ll be back to see Jean…she was awesome! Thank you!
I appreciated the fact that Jean is attentive to customers, which made me want to be an appreciated customer as well…however, my appreciation changed for the following reasons, one…. I’ve never been to a nail salon that’s so strict…make an appointment, or be seen hours later, two pay tips in cash….three, charging me for length….my nails aren’t even long, four complaining about what kind of service I want…if I’m paying, why are you trying to get me to do gel nails if I’m strictly an SNS customer? Five, complaining about what colors I want for MY nails. I want neutral colors…. Why are you suggesting I get colors…do what I ask especially since you’re just doing basic stuff anyway….six, no ombré nail options, seven…one of my nails broke…I had to get a tip….nail completely came off a week later. I went somewhere else…paid more, and got what I wanted ????♀️
Do not go to this place. The lady cut me twice on my toes and twice on my hands. I was polite the first 2 times but the third one hurt really bad and i was bleeding. She was very rough. Then cut my again on the same finger and I yelled out. Then they proceeded to tell me that I made her feel uncomfortable and refused to finished my nails. The Owner and his wife mainly the wife was very rude and proceeded to tell me that she but her client twice and it’s not a big deal!! Please do not go to this place. I have never been mistreated and disrespected. THIS PLACE IS UNSETTLINGLY UNSAFE!!!!
I wish I had found this salon sooner! The owners are so sweet and kind and took very good care of me when I came in both times. One was for my birthday and I had a dress I needed my nails to match with, they helped make sure I was happy with the colors and shape I wanted. The second time was even better! Jenny, your a rock star! She is super detail oriented and I leave knowing my nails are in perfect condition.
I’m a usual customer at this store , Even though they are expensive and charge $45 for SNS french, I did my nails 4 days ago and out of the sudden, today my nails started to pop out so I was shocked as I never had a problem with my nails before that will deserve me to go back to the store and ask them to re-do my nails. Usually small problems which is not that big problem. So I called the store to tel them about the big problem that I’m having and have appointment but unfortunately they don’t even answer their phone.
I went to the store today to fix my nails and they said we either can fix it with the normal one color or you wait couple of hours to get my SNS french, so I decided to wait to get what I had before, after waiting for 1 hour, the owner came to me and said sorry we are so busy today, come tomorrow and we will do your nails. NO NO not after waiting all that time and wasting my day for them to fix a problem shouldn’t have happened at the first place.
So they didn’t do my nails and won’t refund me, I had to call the cops to file a police report, they simply said to a loyal customer we don’t wanna see your face again, the owner said go call your bank and file a depute on our charge, we don’t care!
I have been going there for 4 month and never complained about any problems despite the problems I have had with this store, and when you complain, that’s they kind of treatment that you will get, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Definitely don’t recommend this to any human being or animals!
Van and Jean are wonderful people. They take good care of you and my nails (feet and hands) look great
Only complaint, they claimed they ran out of Diamond for my pedicure and stated they could not do a cut down and nail polish for my hands when they had time to do both. Also, they need to change their open and close days that are displayed on their doors. These may have been per-Covid days and times.
I loved my nail color and my tech, prices are reasonable for the area however 1 day later and my nails looks like they have been done a week already. Nail polish came off and look shattered.
Wont go back because places in the city (west end) work harder to ensure nail polish last and I have no issues at all.
I arrived at the salon at 11:00 a.m. on a Friday. The only service I wanted was to have my acrylic nails soaked off/removed. The guy at the front asked a woman in the back did they have time to provide me service. She said no. There were only 2 other customers in the shop. I’m trying not to think this is a discriminatory act since I’m black but I won’t be back to this shop EVER! Oh, their solution was for me to come back tomorrow. LOL. What a joke!
