Quick Facts About Nail Time

Nail Time is a nail salon that has received a mix of positive and negative reviews. In order to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, we will analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the positive feedback, one customer had an amazing experience at Nail Time. They praised the friendly and gentle nail technicians who provided high-quality service. The customer also mentioned that the price was affordable, indicating that Nail Time offers good value for money. This positive review highlights the strengths of the salon, including friendly staff, attention to detail, and affordability.
However, the negative comments bring attention to several weaknesses of Nail Time. One customer had a terrible experience with an older male technician. They felt that the technician was rough and did not listen to their requests for gentler treatment. The customer also complained about the rushed and sloppy application of acrylic nails, resulting in an uneven and messy final result. Additionally, the technician's lack of professionalism and disregard for hygiene, cutting the customer's cuticles and causing them to bleed, was a major concern. This negative review exposes weaknesses in the quality of service, technician competence, and overall customer experience.
Another negative comment highlighted issues with the application of hard gel nails. The customer experienced a burning sensation during the process, suggesting that the technician did not apply the gel correctly. The customer also mentioned feeling condescended to and having their pain dismissed by the technician. Again, this exposes weaknesses in technique, customer service, and attentiveness.
Furthermore, there were complaints about the pricing inconsistency at Nail Time. One customer was quoted a lower price over the phone but ended up paying more at the salon. This discrepancy relates to poor communication and transparency regarding pricing. While the customer still tipped the technician, this incident raises concerns about the salon's integrity and customer satisfaction.
Other negative comments mentioned the lack of professionalism and poor customer service by the new owners. One customer experienced a lack of staff availability for their appointment and found the salon to be dirty. Another customer was treated rudely and received a subpar gel manicure. These negative reviews expose weaknesses in management, customer service, hygiene, and overall professionalism.
Lastly, a customer expressed great disappointment and frustration when their daughter left the salon in tears. The negative experience involved disrespectful and rude treatment from the staff. This review highlights a major weakness in customer service and highlights the importance of treating customers with respect and professionalism.
In conclusion, Nail Time has both strengths and weaknesses. Positive reviews highlight friendly staff, gentle treatment, and affordability as strengths. On the other hand, negative reviews expose weaknesses in the quality of service, technician competence, pricing transparency, professionalism, and customer service. It is crucial for Nail Time to address these weaknesses in order to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a good reputation.

Best TL Reviews

I just had the best experience getting my nails done! Could not recommend this place enough. The nail techs were so friendly and gentle and my nails looked BOMB. Milon was the sweetest ever and took extra care to make sure that the shape of my nails will look great w my fingers. The price is affordable too, I literally will be a customer for life????
The first and last time I will be coming to Nail Time. I made an appointment two days in advance for an acrylic nail set. These nails were for my graduation day. When I came in, the store was empty and the ladies working were chatting excitedly and painting their nails. I was told to pick out my nails and then take a seat. A older man raised his hand to motion he would take me. Immediately, I knew that my service would not be good. A man is so rough with a gentle lady’s hand. I have delicate and sensitive skin, so keep this in mind. I came over, he looked up at me and sighed before putting his phone away. From the beginning, when I first sat down, I showed him a picture of the nail look I wanted (first picture below) and he just scoffed while taking a look. He started drilling my nails without any prep, and just went over them with no technique. He looked like he was just doing whatever he wanted. He was sloppily drilling, and kept going over my skin. Obviously, it hurt and I’d have to flinch at times because of the pain. Every time I did, he glared at me and scolded me like I was a child. I told him several times please be gentle, and he ignored me and looked so annoyed with my every request. He moved so quick, and I could tell he was rushing. He went over the nails again and again, but each time was rushed and not given proper care. If my nails were uneven, or the shape was not right, I’d try to say something. Every time I spoke, he just “tsked” at me and groaned, and would barely make an attempt to fix it. At a certain point, one of the ladies came over and went over what to do with acrylic! My nails turned out thick and the layering was uneven. There are bubbles on my nails. And the paint ended up just being a disaster because it was not on a straight surface, so they were uneven as well. After I got up to wash my hands, he went straight to cutting my cuticles even though I told him I just wanted him to push them back. He ended up cutting me and I started bleeding. At this point, I told my sister I wanted another technician to come and finish my nails. She told me I was being crazy and that I was making a scene for no reason as she stared at my bloody finger. I was being treated like a snobby little kid like I didn’t have any awareness or I was even a person who deserved proper treatment. I left a good tip regardless of the poor way I was treated, and ended up paying $66 for some nails that are not properly done at all. At this point, spare yourself the humiliation and the money and buy some KISS nails for yourself.
I never write bad reviews, but I had a terrible experience with my nail tech and this nail salon. Her station was filthy and her hands were still dirty from her last client. The entire process of curing the hard gel to my nails was very painful. I’ve had hard gel nails done before, and I’ve never experienced the terrible burning sensation I had at this salon. She clumped the gel in thick layers, which then caused the burning sensation when I placed my fingers under the UV lamp. When I told her that it was painful, she told me that this was normal. The entire time I felt condescended to, between picking out my nail color and when I told her about my pain. I don’t have a terribly high pain tolerance, but the burning really felt awful. My nails turned out crooked in the end and uneven, due to her tactless drilling and filing which also hurt. She also got gel all over my fingers, to which she said that I had to peel off afterwards and contributed to the pain. After all of that, I paid much more than I expected to. When I called to make the appointment, I asked how much the service would cost and the receptionist said $50. When I went up to pay afterwards, however, they said it costed $60 despite not having any nail art done. I still tipped the nail tech afterwards because she possibly had a bad day or something, but I won’t make the same mistake by coming back to this nail salon. It still hurts when I press down on my finger nails, which tells me that she applied them with bad technique.
Edit: the manager gave me a refund, which definitely was nice.
Oh my god! I finally found my new nail place and nail guy.: after months and months for searching for someone who is quick, amazing, friendly, close by., today was the day!!!!! Michael at Nail Time is SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! He is legit.. been working here the longest and he’s so quick yet so good!!! I will 100009 percent be coming back here and Michael is my new nail god!!! Thank you so much for being so amazing! I am OBSESSED!!!!!!!
Tina was very kind! I showed her a picture of what design I wanted and she was able to do it! Whenever I come here I always get complements from strangers about my nails because they always turn out good. The receptionist was so nice as well. Would recommend & will definately come again soon ????????
I’m normally not one to write a review but I am very upset about how my nails came out. Less the 12 hours later my French manicure is now gone. They one put a white line and a top coat. No base case no other color. I didn’t question them because I assumed they knew what they were doing and it was already past their closing time so I felt bad. However I felt a good tip because I felt bad that she had to stay an extra 15-20 mints late to finish my nail. Everyone there was extremely nice and my pedicure came out perfect, but I am extremely disappointed in my French manicure.
New Owner Alert: I have been coming here for years and always happy with everything. The new owners are rude, lack customer service. Arriving for my appointment, the technician was nowhere to be found. Waited over 15 minutes and was told she was cleaning. (The salon is FILTHY!) The tech is either extremely inexperienced or just didn’t care. Terrible gel manicure! And prices have gone up substantially without notice. Will not return. There are certainly enough salons who deserve your business. Sadly, this is not one of them.
My daughter came here to treat herself to a fancy manicure and left in tears. She worked really hard to graduate and wanted to get her nails done before she starts working in the fall since her profession does not allow long nails. She left in tears. I hope you guys go out of business. How dare you treat anyone with disrespect and talk to them in a rude and unprofessional manner. People need to read this and know what kind of treatment they can expect when they walk into your establishment to spend money. Shame on you. No one should leave a nail salon in tears.
