Quick Facts About Headquarters Barber Shop
Headquarters Barber Shop has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In terms of strengths, some customers praised the management and barbers for their excellent haircuts and the ability to shape and design hair effectively. They also mentioned that the barbers have a high level of skill and efficiency, particularly highlighting the barber named Tony as being phenomenal. The positive reviews also mentioned that the morale and environment of the shop were good.
However, the weaknesses of Headquarters Barber Shop are more prominent in the comments. A recurring issue is poor management skills, with customers noting that the barbers treat the shop as a clubhouse rather than a professional establishment. This poor management is reflected in the lack of customer service and poor communication, leading to frustrations such as prolonged waiting times and appointments not being honored. Customers expressed their disappointment and embarrassment, with one person even mentioning how the shop was recommended as well.
Some specific incidents highlighted unprofessional attitudes from the barbers, including not acknowledging customers for an extended period of time, prioritizing certain customers over others, and talking on the phone during haircuts. This lack of professionalism extended to one barber leaving in the middle of cutting a customer's hair. Several customers were dissatisfied with the quality of their haircuts, describing them as mediocre or not meeting their expectations.
Another weakness mentioned is the requirement for appointments, which is not common practice in most barber shops and can inconvenience customers who prefer a first-come, first-serve system. Additionally, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of diversity in haircuts specifically catering to white males, suggesting a need for more inclusive options in the shop's service offerings.
In summary, Headquarters Barber Shop has some strengths, such as the barber's skill and ability to deliver excellent haircuts, as well as a positive morale and environment. However, the weaknesses overshadow these strengths, with poor management skills, lack of customer service, and communication issues being major concerns. The unprofessional attitudes of some barbers, prolonged waiting times, and mediocre haircuts further contribute to a dissatisfactory customer experience. Overall, there is significant room for improvement in addressing these weaknesses to enhance the reputation and success of Headquarters Barber Shop.

Poor management skills. Poor customer service. Poor communication. It seems as if the barbers treat their business as a clubhouse instead of an actual barbershop.
If an appointment needs to be set. There should be a sign that says so instead of having their customers wait.
It should be shut down if the barbers can't tend to the customers needs. The wait shouldn't be 2-3hours with no communication.
This was very embarrassing for me because I was up trying to find a barber shop open close to me., and we'll of course this establishment was the closest and was well recommended. It was very embarrassing for me to take an Uber there at 10 mins before 10 which there sign says they open Sunday at 10 there was no one there I sat there for about a half an hour waiting and waiting on one came and the worst part is they put a number of there business on there door which the number doesn't even work . I give them a 1 star for poor attendance.
Loved it. Management and barbers are excellent in their design and shaping of hair cuts. I've seen each barber turn out some awesome haircuts, and don't never see anybody walk away unhappy. The morale and environment is good. I highly recommend this barber shop.
My sons get their haircut here all the time they’ve never had any issues “Tony” is one of the best, most efficient Barbers in the CSRA. If I could give him a percentage it’ll definitely be 100%. His cuts are phenomenal. He’s
simply amazing!! Try him you will not regret it.
My son and I sat two hours no one would cut his hair. Nor we’re we greeted upon entering we weren’t even acknowledged for a hour and 20 minutes. Barbers called other people ahead of him that wasn’t in line. The most unprofessional attitudes. Seven to eight barbers on staff 2 people were waiting when we entered.
This place is terrible. I sat for two hours to get a mediocre hair cut. They are supper slow and frequently talk on the phone in the middle of cutting hair. One baber talked to his friend on the phone for the entirety of his cut. My barber kept going over the same spot over and over and even walked outside for five minutes in the middle of cutting my hair. This is crazy I can't believe this place is even open. Anyone can give a good haircut if they take a whole hour and a half on just a high fade. Only come here if you have tons of time to waste
Arrived at the shop at 645pm. Maybe 6-7 people ahead of me, which wasn't an issue since there were quite a few barbers. As time goes on I watched as the 4 (possibly 5) Barbers on duty dwindled down to 2. After noticing a gentleman who walked in after me hop in the chair in front of me, I asked the barber if I was supposed to be next. He then tells me that the client had an appointment and he was appointment only. So there was really only one Barber. The other said Barber upon finding out that he had to stay to cut over more head (mine) all of a sudden has stomach pains and has to sit down. It's 8:15 at this point. I leave. I guess you better make an appointment or be friends with the Barber here, bcuz if you're a new face looking for a new Barber, no such luck at this establishment.
Exactly as another customer described , have to make an appointment supposedly to go to this barber shop. Been around a few yrs have never heard of that before, barber shops are normally first come first serve. Second, sent my two sons there they did an ok job on my oldest but my youngest wasn't even lined up. I could have and have done better myself. We are MILITARY and have lived all over the US and Europe and this by far is the worst area for haircuts for white males. Barber shops in Augusta should have more of a diverse range in haircuts especially being 2.1 miles from a military installation. Definitely won't be back. Or recommend to others.
