Marq did a fantastic job on my hair . I told him I need a bob cut to the length of my chin and layers throughout my hair for volume and movement and he did exactly what i asked to the tee.
The energy at the salon is unmatched. There are senior stylist, junior stylist and aspiring assistants who all work together to deliver an outstanding salon experience from start to finish.
I highly recommend H2 Salon for all hair types and textures.

BTW: I have natural African American hair (4c/b texture). My hair was silk pressed. I do not have a relaxer.
First time here and it was a great experience. I had a 3pm appt and we started right on time. I received a deep condition, cut and silk press. The staff was very welcoming and covid safe (legit everyone had their mask on!). This was my first hair cut in years and I had a lot of questions along the way but my stylist Marq was patient and communicative. Not only did they take great care of my hair but made sure i was comfortable along the way. You are def paying for QUALITY service here. Would highly recommend for my natural hair folks.
Lauren did a much needed trim on my hair and I decided to do a silk press after 3 years of no heat. She complimented my hair and I experienced no heat damage. My curls are back and they look better than ever. I did a lot of research to find H2 salon and the professionalism in terms of in-salon treatment is there. Highly recommend H2 Salon. Just book in advance! I had a couple of changes in my schedule which wasn’t ideal but Lauren was really kind. I will definitely be back in 4 months to trim again!
Amazing hair salon. Patricia did a great job with my cornrows. Told her I was tender headed and she was so gentle. A different lady did the washing and blow drying for me and she was so gentle. She’s a sweet person together with Patricia. I just wish I could remember her name. I’ve found my permanent hair salon ????.
Last year, I was looking for a salon that knew how to deal with my kinky hair texture and I am so happy I stumbled upon H2 Salon! Everyone is extremely nice and professional. My stylist JahLena actually spoke to me about what would be best for my hair. And the health of my hair has greatly improved in just a year of consistently seeing her. I would recommend this salon to anyone, but if you have kinky curly hair? This is definitely the place to be at! Only downside is they get booked pretty fast and far out and it is a bit pricey but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth!!
I love coming to H2! My stylist always sits me down to discuss what I’d like to do and what can be accomplished based on my hair type (and previous treatments). She never over-promises but always get it right! I always walk out the door feeling gorgeous. The salon is sparkling clean and I appreciate the hand washing policy (walk in the door, wash your hands, remove your coat). Drinks are offered and staff are kind. I love it here!
Ms. Daley has set the tone for professionalism. I patronized the Silk press Sundays by the assistant stylists. They accommodated a disaster from a cancelled takeout prior to my scheduled silk press. They worked diligently on my hair and made me very comfortable. Chantal is great with braids, faux locs and twist outs. Her hands work magic when shampooing.Simone is great with silk press. They also inform you on hair health and maintenance. Maya, whose personality and conversation while assisting with my takeout also made this a great experience. I'm excited for the progression on this journey with my new NYC hair salon.
I had a great experience with a natural wash-n-go cut with the stylist Jahlena. She is very personable made me very comfortable. In spite of her simultaneously working on two heads at once(my appointment was rescheduled due to inclement weather) she never made me feel as though I wasn't being serviced she was transparent about everything every step of the way. Love love me natural cut. Love that she didn't use high heat setting and gave me recommendations on how to care for my hair going forward. I'll be returning I hope my follow up experience will be the same.
