Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistency in service quality: Several customers complain about the poor service and quality of work at New York Nails. They mention issues like rushed service, sloppy work, cutting the skin, breaking nails, and unpleasant experiences. These negative experiences suggest that the salon may lack consistency in delivering satisfactory services.
2. Lack of attention to customer requests: Multiple customers mention that their requests were not fulfilled by the technicians. They received services they did not ask for, such as gel polish instead of regular polish. This indicates a problem with communication and attention to detail at New York Nails.
3. Unsatisfactory customer service from the owner: One customer specifically highlights rude behavior from the owner, Tony. They mention an incident where Tony mishandled their nails, cut their cuticle, and exhibited anger. Such behavior not only creates a negative experience for customers but also reflects poorly on the salon as a whole.
4. Injuries caused during the service: Some customers report instances where they experienced pain, bleeding, and even nail damage during their visit to New York Nails. These incidents indicate a lack of caution and proper technique, leading to potential harm to customers' hands and nails.
In summary, New York Nails seems to have some strengths, including skilled technicians, creative nail designs, and knowledge about customer preferences. However, the salon appears to struggle with consistency in service quality, fulfilling customer requests, and providing satisfactory customer service. Additionally, reports of injuries during services raise concerns about safety and proper technique. These weaknesses need to be addressed to improve the overall customer experience at New York Nails.

I go there only... I do NOT let Tony do my nails but everyone else does a good job... The other man in there does awesome work takes his time and will fix anything you point out to him that he doesn't see himself...
I am new to Goldsboro, I recently relocated here so I am still trying to find a good nail salon to visit regularly. Today I went in for a basic pedicure with regular nail polish and a fill-in on an acrylic overlay with regular nail polish. The girl who did my pedicure called herself scraping the dead skin off of my feet with a cheese grater and cut the side of my left foot. When I spoke on it she just said “I’m so sorry.” The guy who did my nails automatically tried to charge me for gel and force me to get it saying “it last longer” I said I know but I didn’t ask for that, I want regular polish. I will never go here again.
I went to New York Nails today along with my daughter and husband. I asked for one thing and didn't get what I asked for. My toes and fingers to me look horrible. He didn't even paint the whole nail. He broke 4 of my toenails by pulling the gel polish off instead of filing it off. My heels look horrible from my pedicure. He (Tony) did not do a good job at all. I am very disappointed. I want be going back.
I walked into New York nails and I seen that there was only three people in there getting serviced. I tell them what I want and they have me to sit down. They have me to sit at the service station. When I tell you they rushed my nails I mean they rushed them. The man was going so fast he cut some of my skin. The paint work was sloppy , the foundation was thick and he added glitter when I did not ask for any. He rushed like the place was packed and busy but there was no one waiting and no one came in. I do not recommend New York Nails services to anyone.
I absolutely love this place. There designs are outrageous.... Pls go here ladies. You will not regret it I am promise you....
I love this place and the ppl there... they know how I like my nails and give the best service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tony, the owner is very rude to customers! The girls there do a great job and are pleasant. I let the owner do my nails once because Lena was busy and he did a horrible job. I asked him if he would fix them for me and he got very upset. He was shoving my hands around then cut my cuticle when he was filing my nails. It started to bleed but I waited til he would clean it on his own because at that point I could see he was already angry. He pretended not to see it, when we both clearly did. I asked him to please clean the cut. That's when he got even more upset. He continued shoving my hands around and yelling to the staff until he was finished. It was one of the worst experiences I ever had. I walked out of there feeling violated by that man. I would never go to New York Nails again. Nor would I recommend it to anyone...EVER! Go spend your hard earned money someplace where you are respected . I don't even know how this place is still in business. I was reading through the reviews and I see I'm not the only one who has had this kind of experience there!
Okay so, the design process is good on the nails it’s how they put the nails on. I went there and they cut my pinky with the drill. I told the girl it hurt and the guy there was a bit of blood too. Then today my nail was lifting from the base and hurting really bad. I went to take it off but the nail was tight and ripped the middle of my actual nail off . This has never happened before. The prices are cheap but i don’t want my hands to be injured
