Quick Facts About Paradise Nails at Succasunna
Paradise Nails at Succasunna Place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. Let's start by analyzing the strengths of the salon.
One strength of Paradise Nails is its convenience and availability. Several customers mentioned that they were able to walk in without an appointment and be serviced immediately. This suggests that the salon is able to accommodate customers efficiently and without long waiting times. Additionally, one customer mentioned that the salon is reasonably priced, which is a positive aspect for customers who are looking for affordable nail services.
Another strength of the salon is their use of freshly packaged files and buffers for each customer. This indicates that they prioritize hygiene and take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of bacteria or infections. The fact that a customer highly recommended making an appointment also suggests that the salon values punctuality and tries to maintain a smooth operation.
Despite these strengths, Paradise Nails also has several weaknesses that have been pointed out by customers. One recurring issue is the poor quality of the manicures and pedicures. Multiple customers mentioned that their gel manicures chipped within a day, which is highly disappointing, especially considering the high price they paid for the service. Additionally, one customer reported that her nails broke within a week, indicating a lack of durability in the products used or the technique employed by the nail technicians.
Another weakness of Paradise Nails is the inadequate and unsanitary practices observed by some customers. One customer, who is also a nail technician, noticed that the salon double dips with all their products, a practice that is considered unhygienic. They also mentioned that the foot stand used during pedicures is not properly sanitized, which raises concerns about the cleanliness of the salon. Another customer specifically mentioned that the pedicure chair was broken, and the whirlpool jet was not cleaned properly between clients. These observations highlight a lack of attention to cleanliness and sanitation in the salon.
Furthermore, a few customers mentioned issues with the customer service at Paradise Nails. One customer experienced a rude nail technician who rushed through the service and did not allow her to relax. Another customer mentioned that the staff talked excessively among themselves, neglecting certain promised services such as hot stone massages. These incidents point to a lack of professionalism and attentiveness from the staff, which can leave customers feeling dissatisfied and undervalued.
In summary, Paradise Nails at Succasunna Place has some strengths such as convenience, availability, reasonable prices, and attention to hygiene. However, the salon falls short in terms of the quality and durability of their manicures and pedicures, as well as their overall cleanliness and customer service. These weaknesses undermine the customer experience and indicate areas where improvement is needed.

Will not be going back to this salon. Got a gel manicure and pedicure and could still see my old color underneath which was annoying, but was more annoyed it chipped the next day. Now I went again last night because everyone has off days and I will always give a place a second chance and It has chipped again in one day and my pedicure was done in 15 minutes after I waited 35 minutes from my appt time and the nail tech said why didn’t you come earlier we close at 7. (I arrived at 5pm for my scheduled appt) I recently switched to this salon because it is convenient location to go with my sister but my old salon lasted me three weeks each time. When I called the salon to let them know of the issue I was told “it is my nails and my problem”. Other customers last three weeks it was not her fault I had oily nails. To say I will never go back is a given I’m just mad at the 85$ Each time I went wasted.
First time going and my experience was decent. I did not have an appointment. I walked right in and was serviced. I was there for a gel fill in. I usually go to a place in Denville, but they charge for EVERYTHING! I didn’t feel like pay $80 for a fill in.
This nail salon was reasonably priced, but one of my nails are already loose. I’ll put some crazy glue under it and hopefully it will hold up.
I’ll return.
Update….My nail broke in less then a week, and one nail the gel is lifting from my nail.
I will not be back. I’ll return to Top Style nails in Denville….
Paradise Nails??? More like FUNGUS paradise. Got my toes done 3 weeks ago and now I have a fungus on my big toe right where she cleaned under and around my nail. I got a clear coat so I’m able to see. I am a nail tech myself and took in the environment around me and saw how unsanitary everything was. First off my pedicure chair was broken the massage worked but wouldn’t hit my back at all it was the chair farthest from the window. They double dip with all their products and don’t sanitize the foot stand and just rinse it off in my pedicure water. I saw the manager finish up a clients polish and as she was cleaning I saw her take the detachable whirlpool jet to the back and rinse it off for 2 seconds with water. Those are supposed to be taken apart and sanitized every time because after every client those jets get filled with sock lint. Very very dirty salon I’m never coming back. This manager needs to do better.
Used to go every 2 weeks. The pedicures were very reasonable. Now however the prices went up and the service is really poor. The girls talk the entire time your getting a pedicure and forget hot stone and massages. It wasn't near worth the price and a long wait. When you advertise hot stone and the girls don't do it because theyre busy chatting the entire time, it's just not worth it. Too bad, used to be so good.
I came here last week. I normally paint my own nails but I decided to try this place. The manicurist nicked my cuticle pretty bad, and it got infected. Even a week later it still looks like that. I don't think I will try this place again
Went to get a Mani pedi, pedicure is amazing loved it! I wanted a French manicure and didn’t realize she said gel French so instead of spending $20 that I intended for it was $47. Turned out great just wish she clarified which one she was doing.
I like that they use freshly packaged files and buffer for each customer. Tends to be very busy almost any day. Highly recommend making an appt.
I was here today and This place is only good for pedicures. I tipped the lady who did my pedicure she was letting me relax and being nice to me but the lady who did my nails (Michelle) was not letting me relax and was being rude she was doing everything fast and not letting me relax and before she even painted my nails she told me to pay now and said “you pay now” like let me relax first!?? I came here to relax and I didn’t feel relaxed at all I felt tensed and when she put lotion on my hands she kept slapping my hands and was being very lazy with it and being too rough with my hands and squeezing them while painting my nails and she didn’t even bother to carry my purse to the dryer since my nails were wet and she blamed me for using oil and also had to redo certain fingers twice and didn’t give me a time when they would dry she just left me I felt disappointed because I paid 40$ for what?
