4. Product buildup: One negative comment mentions white gel product buildup on the customer's head, indicating that excessive product was used during the styling process. This reflects a lack of attention to detail and quality control.
5. Lack of consistency without main stylist: A comment expresses dissatisfaction with the salon when the main stylist, Kanle, was out of town. The customer describes a chaotic environment with staff arguing and difficulties in achieving the desired length of braids. This highlights a potential weakness in maintaining consistency and professional standards when the main stylist is absent.
In conclusion, Peace and Mercy African Hair Braiding shows strengths in their professional braiding skills, efficiency, clean environment, respect for customers' hair, and reasonable prices. However, weaknesses in managing waiting times, inconsistent expertise among stylists, poor customer service, product buildup, and maintaining consistency without the main stylist are areas that need improvement.

Amazing work of art! Professional braiding with great results, also very very efficient with their time. I am super satisfied. If you are tendered headed, braiding does sting a bit because of how tight the braids must be to keep them in effectively. So brush your hairs ladies! Peace & Mercy African Braiding is amazing! 10/10 ! Would go here again.♡
I will NEVER be back! Yesterday 2/9 i went in 5 minutes before my appointment time at 4 around and was not serviced until 6:15 with multiple promises that it would be “started soon” when I tried to leave at 5:45. The women who was suppose to be doing my hair passed me off to an inexperienced stylist who did NOT do the desired style at all and demanded payment after doing 4 braids before she continued - the owner tried over charging me and lied stating we’d spoken over the phone which NEVER transpired. When it was close to them finishing around 9:06p I was told it would be ANOTHER HOUR because they needed to stop and eat! The entire experience was awful and my hair is NOT UP TO STANDARD. I have a crazy amount of gel build up that is white all over my head from too much product use during service. Although I had an appointment the owner claimed I could not expect good service because it’s close to a holiday and if I want it done for a holiday that needs to be done 2-3 weeks prior and her regular don’t keep the bills paid. Don’t waste your time or money.
I love her sooooomuch! Kanle never let's me down ❤ she knows how particular I am. She is very neat and knows how to part hair to perfection ????. Book her even send her a picture. She is awesome.
They do excellent work I absolutely love this place I have gotten my hair braided here about five times and I will continue to utilize them very clean up the environment and the owner is super super nice
They always do a wonderful job on me and my 1 year olds hair. Very fast workers and reasonable prices. The ladies are super sweet too.
If I could give this shop zero stars, I would! This was my first and ABSOLUTE last time visiting this shop. This was the worst and most expensive hair braiding service I have ever received! I showed the braiders a picture of the pixie braids bob style that I wanted and was assured that they would be able to do the style. After changing the price from $180 to $160 after I voiced that was too expensive for the simple style I wanted and after 8 long hours they finally finished my head.... they did not dip my braids which of course left them extremely stiff, itchy, and curled uncontrollably at the ends. My braids were not cut even whatsoever and they are all different sizes. I'm still upset at myself for even paying them at all. I will never ever again patronize this shop. Now I see why there weren't busy on a Friday afternoon. So on top of going through all that and paying what I did, I now have to find someone to attempt to fix their mess, after all I don't have $160 to just flush down the toilet! Beware, go anywhere but here!
I am never disappointed when I get my hair braided at Peace and Mercy. My braids always look great when I leave and they are respectful of my edges. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic and quality braider.
I’ve been going here for several years. Today I went while Kanle was out of town (didn’t find out until I got there) the 2 staff that were working there argued with each other the entire time. My hair literally look 10 hours to do after I had to go back and fourth with one of them about the length that I wanted. (She wanted me to get the $160 length but I wanted $200) really didn’t understand why that was a disagreement cause it wasn’t money coming out of her pockets. Long story short I’m looking for another braiding shop of anybody has any suggestions. Without kanle this place is a circus
