Strengths:
1. Linda's excellent service: Linda, a nail technician at Tony and Nails, receives positive feedback for her exceptional service. Customers appreciate her skills and the fact that she schedules appointments efficiently, resulting in minimal waiting time for clients.
2. Good nail art result: One customer mentions that their daughter brought in a photo and loved the result. This indicates that the salon has competent nail artists capable of delivering desired designs.
3. Reasonable prices: According to one comment, the prices at Tony and Nails appear to be reasonable. This can be an attractive feature to potential customers, as affordability is often an important factor in choosing a nail salon.
4. Friendly staff: A visitor from out of state notes that the staff at the salon is friendly. This positive experience with the staff contributes to a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
5. Clean environment: Another positive comment mentions that the salon is clean, which is an essential aspect of any reputable establishment in the beauty industry.
Weaknesses:
1. Rude customer service: The most common complaint in the comments is the rude and demeaning behavior of the staff. Customers mention instances of racism, rudeness, and a lack of customer service skills. This is a major weakness that affects the overall reputation of the salon.
2. Inconsistency in service quality: One customer refers to the poor quality of work, specifically regarding the pedicure and manicure services. This inconsistency suggests that the salon may lack proper training and supervision of its technicians.
3. Pricing inconsistencies: Another issue raised by a customer is the variation in pricing. Some feel that they were overcharged, while others consider the pricing fair. Inconsistencies in pricing can lead to dissatisfaction and confusion among customers.
4. Lackluster pedicure experience: Several comments mention subpar experiences with the pedicures. Complaints include cold water, short massages, and inadequate foot scrubbing. Customers find this disappointing, especially when comparing the salon to their usual place.
5. Limited space: Despite positive comments about cleanliness, the salon is described as crowded and in need of a bigger space. Limited space can result in discomfort for clients and a less enjoyable overall experience.
In conclusion, Tony and Nails Place has both strengths and weaknesses. While the salon may offer reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a clean environment, the negative aspects of rude customer service, inconsistent service quality, pricing inconsistencies, lackluster pedicures, and limited space can significantly impact customer satisfaction. These weaknesses need to be addressed to improve the reputation and overall customer experience at Tony and Nails Place.

They were extremely rude and racist. I went on Labor day to get a polish change on my toes and a full set on my nails. Before I got serviced, I was told what the price would be. When a caucasian woman came in, she got serviced without being told how much her services would be. I had questions about why it cost $30 just to paint my toes. Not because I didn't have the funds, but because I have never heard of such a thing. A lady who works there told me that I should go to where I normally get serviced for my nails. I would have but they were closed for the holiday. The work wasn't even quality! 10/10 definitely would NOT recommend!!!
The first nail salon I had to remove my gel polish properly. They soaked my nails before gently removing the gel. My nails had been scratched up from other nail salons sanding them to death.
Linda at Tony and Nails has been Doing my nails and feet for years. She is absolutely wonderful. You can call and make an appointment with her. She schedules you so that is hardly any wait time. If someone is in her chair when you arrive, it is not long before they are done.
Thanks Linda for always doing such a great job!
Me and my daughter stopped in for pedicures since we were at the mall having a mom/daughter day. I've never been in here before. Basic pedicure says $25 yet I was charged $30 for me and $25 for my daughter. Did not do a good job with the pedicure itself. Cold water, terrible and short massage, hardly scrubbed my feet. The polish does look good though. I hope it holds up because at my usual place, I can go almost a month and it still look good. 3 stars because It's not just god awful, but if you have a better nail salon, go to that one.
SNS and manicure $50 SNS great..manicure just ok. Won't get manicure again. Nail tech had great customer service. Would have been 4 stars without manicure.
My daughter brought in a photo and loved the result she got here! Helen did a wonderful job!
This is a terrible nail salon. First, workers stand at the door and recruit customers. Secondly, they have no costumer service. I was demeaned in the workers native language, no I do not speak the language, however, I do understand facial expressions and body language. Her tone was angry and harsh.
I took my granddaughter into get a mani/pedi. I originally say no to a manicure then I changed my mind and decided to get the manicure. Instead of her stating that she needed to work on another customer, she became boisterous and all the other native speakers stared staring. I don’t need an experience such as this when I am paying my hard earned money. Lastly, there are other mail salons near the mall area.
Price seems reasonable. I am visiting from out of state. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. A bit crowded though, could use a bigger space. Pedi felt great!
