The grooming dept was amazing with us last weekend, we had an emergency situation and they were absolutely so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! They did an excellent job and I am so thankful! I added some before and after pics of the sweet pup they helped! Thanks again!!
We love the staff here! My dog is very anxious around new people. She loves everyone here. We appreciate the patience they have shown her, and now my dog loves to be groomed and have her nails done.
They should not allow people who are not properly trained to work the cash register. Items I was buying were on a buy 1, get 1 free sale, which she did not know. When I told her that, she said they did not ring up that way and expected me to just pay the full price. The other cashier said I was correct about the sale, so my cashier rang me up again, but the total came to a little more than my card balance, so I said I would buy one less & she should deduct the price of it. This definitely brought the amount down to less than my debit card balance, but when I tried to pay, the card was again declined! The todal was apparently $6 over at that time according to the cashier, who nicely offered to pay it. But, It turned out the cashier did not know how to deduct items, so instead she issued a refund, then rang everything up a 2nd time. My bank balance at the time was just enough for what I was trying to buy, and it was a Saturday, so of course the refund would not go to my bank until Monday or later. So because of the incompetence of that cashier, I had no food for my pets! I am going to call the management of that store (Lake Wylie, SC) on Monday to complain, and will never shop at Petsense again.
When our dogs got attacked by the neighbors dogs, we called our vet plus 3 others and no one would see them. Pet Senese to the rescue. The tech and veterinarian were waiting at the door when we arrived. They took such good care of our kids!!

I have a 10 month old puppy and I brought her here to be groomed. My appointment was for 1:00, and they said it would take an hour. We didn’t get her back until 4:30. I’m not mad at how long it took, I am mad they kept her in a kennel without taking her out for a bathroom break. The second we came out of the store she peed in the parking lot. Mind you we had walked her right before she went in and she peed multiple times. I understand it gets busy and can take longer than usual, but the fact they let her sit in the kennel holding her bladder for hours absolutely appalls me. This review does not reflect the staff that works on the floor, they are wonderful and the store itself has great products. However, NEVER NEVER take your dog to be groomed here.
They took over 3 hours, her hair was uneven and I also noticed they cut her leg. I spent $81 and they cut her. Don’t go here.
Absolutely will not return here. First I walk in and no one even acknowledged my presence. Then I have to approach and employee to get her attention to see if she could get a couple of guppies for me. Now it appears they jut got an order. The manager I might add never comes out of the office at all to help. The employee says that all the guppies abs goldfish were on hold for a school. Fine the ones that just came in they paid for but the ones that have been in there for a week or so maybe a month they could have sold me but I just don’t think these people wanted to work and the manager was the laziest of them all!
