Quick Facts About Phoenix Nail Spa
Phoenix Nail Spa has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. Let's analyze the strengths and weaknesses of this nail spa based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, several customers praised the skills and expertise of the nail technicians. Natalie, specifically, was mentioned as being gentle and precise in her work, ensuring a pleasant experience for customers. Alex was also commended for his attentiveness and ability to address specific nail problems, particularly for someone who works as a nurse and has damaged nails and hands. Kevin was praised for his ability to perform a French manicure to perfection without the customer having to make any requests. Additionally, the husband and wife team of John and Cindy were highly regarded for their excellence in providing pedicure services, with a special mention of John's strong and effective massage techniques. Overall, these positive reviews highlight the talent and expertise of the nail technicians at Phoenix Nail Spa.
Another strength of the nail spa is the loyalty and repeat business it has garnered. One customer mentioned that they have been going to Phoenix Spa for various services, such as pedicures and eyebrow waxing, for almost a year and have consistently found the quality of service to be excellent. The customer even brings their mother and plans to refer their sister and her husband to the spa as well. This showcases the spa's ability to build customer loyalty and satisfaction through consistent quality service.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses highlighted by unhappy customers. One common complaint is poor customer service and management. One customer mentions that the service was so bad they wish their mother could get a refund for the horrible experience. Another customer was dismayed by the way management handled an accident and the subsequent cancellation of their appointment without notice. This reveals a lack of professionalism and communication on the part of the management and raises concerns about their ability to address customer complaints effectively. Additionally, the same customer expressed disappointment at not receiving a call from the owner despite reaching out for over two weeks, further highlighting inadequate customer service and an apparent lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, there are numerous comments about poor attention to detail and lack of skill in certain instances. For instance, one customer was unsatisfied with the quality of a manicure and nail art, stating that the technician did not listen to their preferences and made them feel uncomfortable. Another customer complained about a pedicure where the technician skipped a massage step, leading to disappointment. These comments point to a lack of consistency in service quality and attention to customer preferences and needs.
In summary, Phoenix Nail Spa has strengths in terms of skilled technicians who provide gentle and precise service, as well as the ability to build loyalty among some customers. However, significant weaknesses in customer service, management, attention to detail, and consistency in service quality have been highlighted. Addressing these weaknesses could greatly improve the overall experience at Phoenix Nail Spa.

To be honest, my mom raves abt this place and was super excited to take me but I wish they would REFUND or credit her money because the service was horrible, dipped nails messed up and corrected by polishing gel polish on it. Nails made really big, to big for my fingers. My fingers/nails are so tender I barley want to write or pick anything up with them. I don’t even want to tell my mother bc I don’t want to break her heart.
I'm always very pleased with the job Natalie does. To top it off she is so gentle. I've had nicks before by nail techs and some have drawn blood but Natalie is so gentle and so precise in her work. Her expertise shines!
I've followed Natalie for at least 2 years. She is absolutely wonderful but I had to take someone else because I had to change my appointment due to an emergency. The tech accidentally nicked my toe. Accidents happen but the way management handled it and the way I was spoken to was appalling not to mention the manager put her finger on my open wound. Today I went for my regular appointment, punctual as usual, and it had been canceled without my knowledge. No one greeted me when I came in. No explanation was given. Is this all because someone employed there nicked me? The wound took 10 days to heal. I never spoke a bad word publicly. I did ask for the owner to call me. It's been over 2 weeks now and still no call. I only write this so prospective clients can make an educated choice.
I walked in the door and a lady that's doing someone's no says can I help you and say yes I would like a manicure the lady shook her head no and said we are too busy not having seen nothing I said okay you're not the only place in town bad bad bad business how do you turn away business I do not recommend without calling first recommend without calling first otherwise I won't even go
Alex is the best. Attentive to my nails that I've had problems with from being a nurse from gloves that have powder sanitizer wipes that seap through gloves. Destroyed my nails and hands.
He is gentle and my hands looks amazing when I leave until back to work
I have been going to Phoenix Spa for pedicures and eyebrow waxing since I moved to Vero about nine months ago. They do such a great job that I started bringing my Mom for pedicures too! My sister and her husband are moving here in a few months and I will refer them to Phoenix Spa as well. Kevin does a beautiful French manicure, I’m a little picky about the thickness of the white line, but he did it perfectly without me saying a thing. The last time I went in I was lucky enough for John and Cindy to take care of me, a husband and wife team and they were excellent. The best part of a pedicure is the leg and foot massage and although I never say anything, I don’t really like a light touch I prefer my massages a lot stronger because I’m on my feet all day. The massage John gave me was perfect! I can’t say enough good things about this place, everyone is wonderful! They have a customer for as long as we are living in Vero Beach!
I do not recommend this place!
I was badly needing a good cleaning on my feet . The older gentleman that did my feet did not get any of my ingrowns. He didn’t sand my heels. He didn’t he scrub my feet , he went straight to the lotion and put my sandals on my feet soaking wet.
The service sucks. I thought when I got seated quickly that I was going to get good customer service. Boy was I wrong. The nail tech Jon was annoyed because I wanted my nails short. When I sat for my pedicure I noticed that everyone sitting received a massage because it’s included in the package, however, that’s a step that was skipped during my pedicure. Would I go back, NOOOO!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Very disappointed.
Will not go to this place ever again. The guy that did my nail art on my acrylic nails didn't even listen and the nail art didn't even match the other nail he made me feel uncomfortable.
