I've been going here many years. Mainly out of convenience. Today that stops.
I was charged $25 to paint my daughters nails.
No manicure.
No acrylic.
Just to paint them. Didn't tell me that much in the beginning.
I will preface this with the one good experience I did have at Pretty Nails in December. The woman who did my nails did a good job, which led me to stop in again. This isn't my usual nail place while I am home from school, but I was driving past and decided to stop. The woman who did my nails the first time wasn't there or else I likely would've requested her. Instead, they placed me with a man who had no interest in being there. I chose a green color ANC powder and after he removed my old set, he began to dip my nails. He then decided after he had dipped all of my nails that it was going to be see through (it wasn't on the nail swatch even though he tried to claim it was) and he offered to place a black powder on top of it which was already on his table, which wasn't what I wanted at all. I stated that I wanted to remove the green and pick another color but he insisted on putting another color on top. I then just said to remove it all and that I would just leave without getting them done. He then decided to charge me $20, for removing my ANC "twice" with the same dirty acetone he used the first time. As I was leaving, I also noticed that he had what looked to be a swastika tattooed on his arm, which would've been enough to lose my business from the beginning. I highly suggest avoiding this place and if you're looking to get your nails done on Hoosick St, go to David's Nails.
My daughter, granddaughter and I all go to Anna. Our nails always are perfect! Anna does beautiful artwork too.
First time here and horriblE experience. First impressions are everything. The guy who did my nails , put tips on some were thick and a few were skinny half the size of the other ones and he tells me it’s my finger ,, I’m not going to get into detail to keep bashing but after trying to get him to fix at least one ( which he couldn’t ) . I decided to remain calm just pay and leave and put a review so nobody ever has to experience that again ! I pushed back all the nails in the parking lot and they all came off one by one that’s how messed up they were No effort made.and no care given … And I pay alot of money on my nails for years and years so yes it means a lot
My parents/ Family own their business and they build connections with all there customers but it gets overwhelming, we are busy 24/7 and if you cannot wait and be patient then simply do not come. We want to get you out of the nail salon looking pretty as much as you do but the rudeness and arguing is not needed, we want to build a happy environment but it goes both way. We love our customers and look forward to seeing them ????????
My toenails and eyebrows came out a mess. Don’t know the lady’s name that did them but she seemed quite ditzy????. Only thing I liked was how Jen did my fingernails. Won’t be returning.
I made an appointment early in the week for Saturday when I get there they have no record of it Overbooking seems to be an issue with them on a regular basis so if you plan on going there make sure you have a backup Or plenty of time on your hands to wait Literally
I am new to this place

I love it here!!
But that man at the front desk needs some customer service skills!!
I have an 5 pm appointment, I get here a little
