Quick Facts About PRO NAILS SALON IN POOLER

Pro Nails Salon in Pooler has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, some customers had positive experiences with specific nail technicians. One customer mentioned being a patron for two years and being happy with their nail tech, who consistently delivers satisfactory results. Another customer praised Ni ni for their exceptional service during a dip powder nails appointment, expressing satisfaction with the outcome. Additionally, there were comments indicating good eyebrow services performed at the salon.
The salon also received compliments for the initial customer service when customers arrived. One comment mentioned that the woman who greeted them was pleasant, and another mentioned that the workers smiled and greeted them when passing by.
However, the weaknesses of Pro Nails Salon in Pooler seem to outweigh the strengths based on the provided comments. The most prevalent issue mentioned was the poor customer service and treatment during appointments. One customer had a negative encounter with a nail technician who did not understand their request and became aggressive, throwing their foot into the water and storming away. The customer expressed shock and felt that the technician might be abusive. This type of behavior was described as hostile and unacceptable.
Other customers also experienced rude and impatient service. One individual mentioned that the nail technician was cutting corners during their pedicure, omitting essential steps like applying lotion, foot treatment, and exfoliating. When the customer voiced their concerns, they were met with dismissive responses. This lack of attention to detail and unwillingness to accommodate customer needs reflects poorly on the salon.
There were also comments about subpar nail services. Customers mentioned uneven, blocky nails, broken nails shortly after the appointments, and nails popping off after a few days. Some experienced issues with the quality of the work, such as nails not lasting and causing damage to their natural nails.
Communication also seemed to be a recurring problem. Multiple customers mentioned difficulties in communicating their preferences or concerns due to language barriers. The language barrier created frustration and a sense of being misunderstood. In one instance, the customer requested someone who spoke English, as they were unable to effectively communicate with the technician.
Another weakness of the salon was the lack of professionalism exhibited by the owner and their daughter, who also worked there. Customers recounted instances of the owner and daughter exhibiting rude behavior, talking in their language about customers, and showing attitudes and disrespect towards customers who voiced their preferences or concerns.
Some customers also mentioned issues with time management and rushed service. One customer felt that the nail technician was rushing through their appointment due to closing time, resulting in rough filing and bleeding cuticles. Additionally, the customer expressed frustration over the salon questioning their choice to come to Pro Nails instead of their usual nail shop, Modish.
Overall, Pro Nails Salon in Pooler seems to have significant weaknesses that overshadow the few strengths mentioned in the comments. The poor customer service, rude behavior, subpar nail services, communication difficulties, and rushed appointments create an unfavorable impression of the salon.

Best TL Reviews

I went in on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm for a pedicure and a dip for my hands. The woman who greeted me was pleasant. After I told her which services I wanted, I asked for the restroom before we began. She told me where to go. On my way there I saw 2 workers. We smiled and I said hello. One said hi back. When I finished with the restroom I got flagged over to my pedicure station. I got situated and put my feet in very hot water, took them out and the boy added cold until it was warm and perfect. As he started to remove the old polish from one foot I tried to ask him not to cut any hang-nails if he found any as I will have pain for 7 to 10 days if they dig it out. I tried to explain to just leave it. If they leave it alone I have zero pain and zero problems. (I have been going to nail salons for 20+ years.) He couldn't understand what I was asking. We tried 3 times until I finally asked if the lady who checked me could come out to translate (which has happened in the past with no problems). He did not want to get any one else. He continued to ignore my request and continued to say, "What do you want?" a few more times. Finally I simpmy said, with a gentle smile, "I want someone who speaks English."
His hands were just finishing removing the nail polish from my last toe on my first foot. He grabbed my foot, picked it up from where he had it resting and literally threw my foot into the water. He stood up so aggressively that his stool went rolling pretty quickly behind him. He stormed away. I said, "Oh no you do not touch me that way!" But he already did. There was nothing I could do about it. I hope he doesn't have a family at home because I would bet anything that he is physically abusive, as he was with me.
I quickly grabbed the towel and started to dry my feet as someone else came around the back corner to ask what was happening and I explained. He just said some kind of lip service. I should have asked for the manager, however, I was in too much shock at that point.
I am turning them into the board, the better business bureau and the state of Georgia for consumers.
I would never recommend this place. The hostility was absolutely shocking.
I usually never write a review but the service I've experienced getting my feet done was wasnt good. The man was very rude and inpatient. The salon was slow for a Wednesday afternoon, so need to rush. I've never gotten a pedicure done in less than 20 mins. I was never asked what type of pedicure I would like he just went to work and was cutting corners along the way. No lotion, no foot treatment, no exfoliating and when I said something he tells me I missed it. I will not be returning.
Fabulous on the eyebrows … I have been twice in one month I’ve been searching for nail home . Sadly this was not it . The first time I came in I wanted a fill in I am not not picky by far. My nails were not even and very blocky I didn’t say anything there where doable .. I came on a Friday by Monday I had two broken nails which never happens . I went Thursday evening just to give another try the same person did my nails same thing not even and when I tried to tell him he caught a bit of a tude I noticed he may be new now here we are 4 days later and one of my nails pop off sadly I would not recommend .
Ni ni was amazing!!!! Going back tomorrow for a pedicure! Didn't have time today but my experience was great! I've never done dip powder nails before but I absolutely love them! Ni ni explained the process so well and made me feel so comfortable and I am in love with the result and color!!
I've been a patron for about 2yrs.and I love my nail tech,he knows what I like based on our 2yr history, I chose the color and say do what you do and I'm never disappointed. Would definitely recommend.
I came here to get my nails fixed. I am extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend this place. Wish I lived here permanently because this would be my go to place. Thank you so much!!
I went to get my nails done and they did a decent job. 3 days later one of the nails came off which caused my real nail to rip off because of the way it was done and glue as well
I went here as a last resort since it was closest to my house and my usual nail shop was booked. I asked for a full set and a pedicure. I got there at 6:30 PM they closed at 7:30 PM. The lady doing my pedicure kept puffing and blowing and periodically looking up at me as though I didnt see her doing it. I guess my feet was too much for her I dont know. Then this young girl came up to do my nails who I later found out was the owners daughter. I showed her a picture of a french manicure with glitter polish placed over the white tip part. She told me that couldn't be done it took too long to dry so I had to use gel polish which I knew wasn't true because I've had it done before with regular polish twice and they just fan my nails a few minutes and then apply the white tips. She went and got her mom who came with an attitude because I'm saying what I want and I felt they was trying to make me pay for gel that I didnt want because I only wanted the look for the weekend. They both walked off with attitudes talking in their language which is VERY rude!!! I then settled for just a plain polish with no designs. The mom came back after finishing the person she was with and started my nails. The next issue was the color I chose for my feet...smh...the lady said I needed a darker color because my big toes are slightly discolored. So I said ok but the color I selected had been on my feet before as well with 3 coats. It took 3 different color choice before her agreeing to put on a metallic silver that I truly didnt like but just wanted the experience to be over! As I was getting my nails done she was really rough with her filing board and my ring finger and middle finger on my left hand are very sore and one was bleeding! My cuticles looked a mess!! All because they were rushing because it was now past closing time. As nail shop owners and technicians you know exactly how long each procedure takes so if you knew what I wanted was going to go past that time you shouldn't have taken me. Then I was asked what is my normal nail shop and I said "Modish" and the mom asked why didnt I go there? These people are so rude it was unbelievable!! When I didnt want the silver on my nails and wanted the first color I had chosen they laughed and talked in their language again as they had been doing the whole time dealing with me. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here for anything last minute or anything different from basic stuff because they dont know what they are doing, they are rude and disrespectful constantly talking about you in their language!! This is the U.S speak English in front of your customers!!!!
