Quick Facts About Red Rock Nails

Strengths:
1. Quality of work: Multiple comments mention that the quality of the work at Red Rock Nails is superior to other nail places. Customers have reported that gel nails last up to 3 weeks, which is longer than their experiences at other salons. This suggests that the technicians at Red Rock Nails are skilled and proficient in their craft.
2. Friendly staff: Many customers have praised the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Red Rock Nails. They have mentioned that the staff takes the time to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for each customer. This friendly demeanor can contribute to creating a loyal customer base and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
3. Favorite technician: Several comments mentioned a specific technician, Kim, who is highly skilled and well-liked by customers. Kim's work is consistently praised, and customers express a willingness to drive a long distance just to have her do their nails. This suggests that there is a capable and talented technician at Red Rock Nails who has built a loyal following.
4. Good pedicures: Multiple comments mention that the pedicures at Red Rock Nails are great and provide a satisfying experience. Customers have commended the quality of the pedicures, emphasizing that they enjoyed the treatments and were pleased with the results.
5. Clean and comfortable environment: Although not explicitly mentioned in the comments, it can be inferred that Red Rock Nails provides a clean and comfortable environment for customers. This assumption is based on the repeated positive experiences and the favorable mention of the massage chairs. A clean and comfortable environment is crucial for a nail salon to create a positive and relaxing experience for customers.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent service: Several comments criticize the inconsistency of service at Red Rock Nails. Customers report varied experiences, with some mentioning great experiences while others had disappointing ones. This inconsistency raises concerns about the reliability and quality of service at the establishment.
2. Poor customer service: Multiple comments mention instances of poor customer service at Red Rock Nails. Customers report feeling dismissed, ignored, or treated as a nuisance. This negative customer service experience can lead to dissatisfaction and deter customers from returning or recommending the salon to others.
3. Lack of attention to detail: Some comments highlight issues with attention to detail. Customers mention chipped nails, uneven lengths and shapes, and unfulfilled design requests. These instances suggest that the technicians may not prioritize attention to detail, which can be detrimental to customer satisfaction.
4. Pricing discrepancies: One comment states that the pricing structure at Red Rock Nails is inconsistent and unfair. The customer was charged $50 for a fill, while their friend paid the same amount for a full set. This suggests a lack of transparency in pricing and a potential unfair business practice.
5. Limited design options: One customer mentioned being disappointed when they were told that the technician could not do the design they wanted. This suggests that the salon may have limited design options or a lack of flexibility in accommodating customer preferences. This can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction with the service.
In conclusion, Red Rock Nails has strengths in terms of the quality of their work, friendly staff, and positive experiences with specific technicians. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent service, poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, pricing discrepancies, and limited design options. Addressing these weaknesses would be important for Red Rock Nails to improve and provide a more satisfactory experience for their customers.

Had an appointment for a pedicure got right in after toes my favorite lady Kim did gel on my nails. My first time. She did overlay on my nail even lengthened a broke nail matched nails and toes perfect. Did a small design on 2 nails
I have been coming here for 3 years and I initially loved this place; so much so that I referred quite a few people I work with to this establishment. However, over the last few times I've gone it's been a disappointing experience.
I had fire walker pedicure a few months ago (which is an expensive pedicure), and the paint bubbled up the very next day. I called and asked if I could get a different color given this one would bubble up again. I was told no, that I had to get the same color and that if bubbled again, I could just keep getting the paint redone for the next few weeks. WHAT?!
I also had a manicure done and was literally told that they couldn't do the Halloween design I wanted, but they'd do the one they thought would look better. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is NOT worth your time or money. They have no problem taking your money, while also treating you as if you're a nuisance.
I continued going back because it's close to my house, but also because I was hoping experience would be better. I can honestly say that the last time I had a good experience last summer, and that was sub par, to say the least.
My sister and her best friend came here to get Mani pedis for her wedding. The pedicures were great but each of us did not experience the same quality of service. Only after I got my manicure did they realize my sister, the bride, needed one as well. I really liked my nails the day of but 3 nails chipped within a day. My sister got a very quick but not very detail oriented manicure and was pretty disappointed.
My mom and I have been going here for about a year now. The quality of their work is SO much better than any other place her or I have ever been to. Usually the gel at other nail places lasts me from 2 to 3 days because I'm a musician and an artist, but at this place it lasts me up to 3 WEEKS! All of my friends go here, everyone there is so friendly. Ask for Josie! She's the manager and she does amazing work, especially with acrylic. Also, the massage chairs are amazing. They always take the time to make sure you have a great experience, so don't be in a rush when you go in. I HIGHLY recommend!
I have been driving a half hour to get my nails done by Kim for at least 6 years, but I'm telling you if she's not available this place is absolutely terrible. I have had a male technician not file off old acrylic before applying new nails and in addition to it looking terrible I had to have them removed within a matter of days due to water getting underneath. Yesterday I had an appointment, and was told when I arrived that Kim would be right back from lunch for my appointment. After waiting around for her return I was pushed off on another female technician. She was a hazard with the electric file from the get go, and nicked my skin three times before I had to rip my hand away and tell her she was being too rough. She had the audacity to tell me she hadn't touched me and argued when I told her she had hurt me. I should have walked away right then, but I had already driven across town for this appointment. I needed two nails to be replaced and when she finished filing them (just the tips, no acrylic was placed yet) they were completely different shapes and lengths from each other or any of my other nails for that matter. At this point I had to get up and walk away, there's no way I'm wasting another $50 here on an absolutely subpar service. In addition to this, I have noticed that bits for the electric files as well as pretty much all of their other tools are NOT new nor are they sanitized between customers. Overall, don't waste your time or money here.
Kim is the best! I love the great treatment they give clients. Mom & I both go here, she too is very happy. She's extremely ticklish on her feet, Lee does her pedicures & he treated her great... keeping in mind how ticklish she is. When Mom's is treated right, then I'm happy ????
I have been coming here for about 8-9 months now and never really had a problem until my last two times coming. The first time they were rude. Lastly i went in didn't get what i asked for my nails are thin and i know soon to break. I only got a fill and was charged $50.00 when my friend spent $50.00 just to get a full set the same time as i was there. I have gotten designs and jewels on my nails here for $35.00. I asked the guy multiple times to put a snow flake on two of my nails and he never did.The polish doesn't cover my old tips they are still easily visible, nor does it go close to my cuticle so i know i will need a fill in about a week. I have two very crooked nails that i pointed out multiple times and he acted like he fixed them but never did. I am sad i have recommended so many people to come and get that kind of service.
-Lost Costumer.
Kim did my nails for a while and I did like the last design and even tipped her $10. She said any design I wanted she could do so I found a design with 3 colors and she flat out told me no to many colors! Really? If you aren't able to do a simple design than don't tell people you can. I will never recommend her to anyone ever again. 1 star is to much for this business!!!!
