Quick Facts About Reflexion Dominican Salon
Reflexion Dominican Salon has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths of the salon is the positive feedback regarding the quality of their services. For example, a customer mentioned that their daughter's naturally curly hair became more manageable after visiting the salon and that the stylists were gentle with her. This indicates that the salon has experienced and skilled stylists who can effectively work with different hair types.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the efficiency and speed of service. Multiple customers mentioned that they were in and out quickly and that their hairstyles lasted. This suggests that the salon values efficiency and provides timely service to its customers.
Convenience is also mentioned as a strength of the salon. One customer mentioned that they went to the salon because it was conveniently located next to the nail salon they had just visited. This indicates that the salon's location attracts customers and makes it a convenient choice for those who are looking for hair services.
However, there are also some weaknesses highlighted in the comments. One recurring issue mentioned is the understaffing. A customer mentioned that there was only one stylist available, causing a delay in their service. This suggests that the salon may struggle with managing their staffing levels, which can lead to inconvenience for customers who have to wait longer for their appointments.
Another weakness brought up in the comments is the inconsistency in pricing. Several customers mentioned that the salon changes their prices frequently, which can lead to confusion and dissatisfaction. This indicates a lack of transparency and communication between the salon and its customers regarding pricing.
There are also instances mentioned in the comments where customers felt ignored or mistreated by the salon staff. One customer mentioned that they were not acknowledged when they entered the salon, and another customer mentioned that the stylist ignored them while on the phone. This suggests a lack of professionalism and customer service skills on the part of some of the salon staff.
Lastly, the comments also mention issues with communication and customer satisfaction. One customer mentioned that they were not informed that the salon only accepted cash payment, leading to inconvenience. Another customer mentioned that their experience prior to the pandemic was satisfying, but after the changes made to the staff roles and services, they had a negative experience. This suggests a lack of consistency and possibly a decline in quality of service over time.
In conclusion, Reflexion Dominican Salon has strengths in terms of the quality of their services, the efficiency of their service, and their convenient location. However, there are also weaknesses in terms of understaffing, inconsistent pricing, lack of professionalism from some staff members, and issues with communication and customer satisfaction. These weaknesses should be addressed in order for the salon to improve its overall customer experience.

My daughter is a naturally curly 8 year old. She went here and loves how manageable her hair is.. they were really gentle with her
I've been going here since 2016. I stay because they have some very good stylist. My problem is before the pandemic they were and continue to be under staffed. Like today one stylist was there. Bless her heart she needed to eat lunch so I waited. I was the only person for about 30 minutes. Thank goodness I was out at 2pm as I had arrived at 11:40am. The major issue is that they change their prices constantly. Last month I paid 55.00 today the stylist said 60. In the summer I didn't pay less than 70. I don't do alot of add on-s. Confirm the price before they start your hair! That's the best free advice I can give.
Went yesterday to try to get service and literally no one acknowledged me as I sat there. I only went as soon as I left the nail salon next door because it was convenient. I have been going to this place since they first opened the doors and have never had a bad experience. I literally sat on the couch for over 20mins. Looks like I will take my business elsewhere.
I loved it. I’m from out of town, I walked in and they began washing my hair and didn’t take long to get to stylist seat. It was very professional and I LOVE mi hair. The woman also sells waist trainer I purchased one and it’s the best one I’ve ever wore. My hair is very very long and I was charged 125 which is very understandable and reasonable for length of mi hair. I do recommend this place. I got a blowout and mi hair straight with a middle part.
I wA in and out and my hair was amazing. Style lasted. Will definitely be going back. Service was great and very friendly.
Went across to Salon Plaza on a Sunday morning b/c the shower poofed up my hair...the guy there recommended "the girl in the 1st chair, whose been there for years." I had just got cut, color somewhere else a few days earlier...the girl pressed my hair out in 30min tops. It did smell burned and the service was quick but $55 for just a press out was a bit much. No wash was needed as I had just got it done a few days prior. But the price was high. Service was quick. Press out has lasted almost 3 weeks.
There was NO SIGN stating that it was cash only. The hairstylist burned me twice while talking to another customer. When I noticed the lady in front of me having to use the ATM machine for payment (which she was not happy about no prior notice either) I asked the hairdresser and she proceeded to point to the chair to sit like I was an animal or something without trying to answer my question. I had to repeat myself twice. I asked for my hair to be pinned up but after going through all of that I told her to forget and paid her and got out of there. I used to go to this site to get my hair done and was very satisfied before the pandemic. The lady that did my hair used to only wash my hair but now she is a stylist now. It was the worst experience.
Took my 7yr old for her 1st blow out for picture day at school. When I walked in nobody was at the front desk to great you. Next the "shampoo assistant" greeted me and told me for my daughter hair I would need a deep condition which is an extra $15 along with the trim for her hair an addition $10.
While waiting the shampoo assistant told me she had to call the stylist to come do her hair!!!?!
The stylist shows up... I'm speaking with her asking about pricing and making sure she understands what u want for my daughter and she totally ignores me while on the phone. So I elevated my voice to her to make sure she understood.
Stepped away to pick up my daughter dress. Upon return she was sitting in the window waiting on my return. ( No Courtesy call ) - upon check out I was told $90 for her hair! Another customer asked why so much money for her hair and I explained that she got an deep condition and the customer gave me a look as if she waiting on some other services to come out my mouth.
Last minute salon. Close to home , but for $90 I will never return .
