I love staying here- short or long term. You ready cannot beat the prices and the location is very convenient to the bypass, theatre, courthouse, and square. The owner does everything to accommodate your needs for during your stay. He offers free coffee for the AM and also has cold beverages, a drink vending machine, and snacks available to buy at an affordable price. The rooms are very tidy, they all have flat screen TVs, and FREE WI-FI. I recommend considering The Regency for your next vacation or pass through in the area and enjoy more attractions or save some $$ for your gas tank with their reasonable prices!
Absolutely disgusting. Rooms were dirty...beds were half made. Floors dirty. The bathroom so unsanitary. The toilet had urine dried in a streak from the seat down the front. Toilet paper holder was on side of the sink and above it were dried blots of blood!!!! Immediately went back to office and the owner was so rude. He had an attitude. Did not apologize at all. Offered another room but only had one bed. We paid for 2 beds and he said he didn't have another one. Told us that rooms with one bed and rooms with 2 beds were same price and would not refund. Needless to say, we left and will never be back.
My kids and I enjoyed it very much. Owner was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Room was cozy, quaint and clean and we were happy that the air worked great. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will return soon ????
This hotel was awful. We didn't feel safe - there were people who looked like they were casing the place, and there was a man (not associated with the hotel) knocking on all of the doors early in the morning. We were up all night afraid someone would break the windows of our car.
The sheets were dirty, so we walked to the check in office to ask for clean ones. We only got a top sheet and pillowcases back, when we specifically requested a fitted sheet. The room was poorly cleaned - old toothpaste was on the mirror and you could see the smears of previous bars of soap in the shower. The toilet had a seal on the lid that had clearly gotten wet and then dried.
It was impossible to sleep through the ancient heater turning on every two minutes with all of the subtlety of an airplane taking off.
The pictures online are ancient - this place is falling apart. Every single piece of furniture in our room was damaged, including the crooked bedside lamp. There are broken down cars and trash heaped outside.
No refunds are available, but we decided it was worth losing the money and went to a different hotel instead of staying here a second night.
The owner of the inn knocked on my door and asked me to move my car from right in front of my room so someone else could park in front of my room. The rooms are kinda old and broken
The room was nasty. There where Bedbugs and roaches. Tub was nasty, had a dirt ring around it. Floor had sticky stuff on it. Fruitflies where in the bathroom. The cover on the bed was stained. Do not go here. There are broken down car in the parking lot.
It was a good stay because of the staff. Very accommodating and nice. The room was clean, full cable and of course free WiFi. It is a family owned place so I would support it again.
Owner is very Nice! Will go out of his way to please guests! Fresh paint and well cleaned and maintained!
