Quick Facts About Salvi's Barber Shop

Salvi's Barber Shop has numerous strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, customers consistently praise the excellent service they receive at Salvi's. The barbers go out of their way to accommodate variable schedules, which is highly appreciated by customers who may have busy lives and limited availability. This flexibility sets Salvi's apart from other barbershops and contributes to their positive reputation.
Additionally, the barbers at Salvi's are highly skilled, as evidenced by the numerous compliments on the quality of haircuts. Customers express satisfaction with both the haircut and beard trimming services, noting that their hair looks terrific after visiting the shop. This expertise is crucial in a barber shop, and Salvi's seems to excel in this aspect.
Furthermore, Salvi's Barber Shop creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Many customers mention the great conversations they have with the barbers, which adds to the overall enjoyable experience. The sense of camaraderie and nostalgia is also mentioned, as customers feel that Salvi's is reminiscent of traditional barbershops from the past. This sense of nostalgia and connection to the community is an important strength that helps establish Salvi's as a neighborhood institution.
In terms of diversity and inclusivity, Salvi's is praised for having a diverse employee base. Customers appreciate that the shop employs individuals from different backgrounds, including black, gay, and women barbers. This commitment to diversity and inclusion helps create a welcoming environment where customers of all identities feel comfortable and valued.
Another strength mentioned is the affordability of Salvi's services. Customers note that the prices are reasonable, and some even mention that they receive more than they pay for at the shop. Affordable pricing is crucial for attracting and retaining customers, especially in a competitive industry like barbering.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that Salvi's Barber Shop has built a loyal customer base over the years. Several customers mention that they have been going to Salvi's for a long time and have never received a bad haircut. This demonstrates the shop's consistency in delivering quality services and fostering customer loyalty. The short wait times, due to having multiple barbers on staff, are another advantage that contributes to customer satisfaction.
Despite these strengths, there are a few potential weaknesses that should be addressed. Some customers mention that Salvi's can get busy, especially for walk-ins. This implies that the shop might not be able to accommodate customers without appointments during peak times, resulting in longer wait times. This issue could be resolved by potentially hiring more barbers or implementing an efficient system to manage walk-in customers.
Another weakness mentioned in one comment is that Salvi's only accepts cash payments. While this may not be a significant concern for most customers, it can be inconvenient for those who do not carry cash frequently. To mitigate this weakness, Salvi's could consider implementing an electronic payment system to provide more convenience for customers.
In conclusion, Salvi's Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. These strengths include excellent service, skilled barbers, a friendly atmosphere, affordability, diversity, and loyal customers. While there are a few potential weaknesses, such as busy periods and limited payment options, they can be addressed with proper management strategies. Overall, Salvi's seems to be a highly regarded barbershop that provides quality services, fosters a sense of community, and ensures customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

Great place, great service, and great prices. It’s hard to find a truly good barber shop, but this is one of the few. Book online and show up on time—it can be busy and you’ll likely have to wait as a walk-in.
Always goes out of his way to accommodate my variable schedule. Great haircut and beard looks terrific. A must stop before important meetings.
I always look forward to getting a haircut at Salvi's. My hair is a pain in the butt to cut well. I'm so appreciative of Derek, but all the guys here give great cuts. It reminds me of the same shop my dad took me to decades ago when I was a kid. A slice of old fashioned good conversations and a friendly neighborhood institution, you get way more than you pay for at Salvi's.
Great place, great atmosphere, great haircut. ✅️ I'm a fairly feminine-looking person, so when I get a haircut at other places I generally have to *specify* that I want a men's cut (salons tend to try to make me "cuter" if I don't).
That wasn't the case here: I just wanted a good haircut, and I got exactly that. No flipping through photos to try to find a hairstyle that looks half-decent on me, and no awkward questions. It was all very straightforward (and affordable)! Next time I'm in the area and happen to need another haircut, this is the first place I'll go.
(FYI: They only take cash, so make sure you come prepared. Lucky for me, there was an ATM somewhere across the street.)
This is my go to barbershop! John is the man! He not only gives you a COMPLETE grooming of all your bizarre body hairs (nose, ear, neck, eyebrows etc) leaving you feeling wonderfully groomed and well taken care of he gives you a GREAT haircut!..they are the best! And you'll hear the best local news from cops, customers that you will ever need to know about the community. Plus John employs a very diverse employee base...black, gay, women...he's very open to all! Go there...you will not be disappointed with your cut!
I've been going to Salvi's for years and have never gotten a bad hair cut. There's always at least two barbers working so the wait is always short. They know all their customers and the friendly atmosphere make it a great place to go to for a haircut.
Been going for years, maybe I hesitated to post so the place didn't get to busy, but they are good people and deserve a fair review. If you're looking for a classic barbershop that gets the job done this little gem is the place. In fact when my father in law flies in for a visit from Seattle he books an appointment - says its the best barber he as ever been too.
We have never found anyone that can cut our son’s hair like Johnny. We moved to Oregon, but had to get in to Salvi’s for a quality cut, on our recent trip out. Most barbers just don’t have this type of consistency and skill.
