Quick Facts About Sassy Nails Spa

Sassy Nails Spa has received a mix of positive and negative reviews from customers. By analyzing the comments provided, we can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, multiple customers praised the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. They mentioned receiving a warm welcome and described the employees as professional, fun, and enjoyable. The prompt attention given to customers without appointments was also acknowledged positively. This highlights the spa's flexibility and willingness to accommodate walk-ins. Furthermore, the use of color-changing gel and the execution of desired designs were commended, indicating that the salon is capable of providing unique and creative nail services. In terms of payment options, the availability of both cash and debit acceptance was appreciated by customers.
Another strength is evident in the positive feedback about the gel manicures received. Customers mentioned that their nails came out beautifully, and the staff members were able to fulfill their desired designs. Additionally, the owner was commended for kindly explaining the pricing to a customer who initially felt unsure about the cost. This demonstrates good communication and transparency with customers.
However, various weaknesses were highlighted in the feedback as well. One recurring issue was rushed services. Multiple customers expressed disappointment with the rushed pedicures and acrylic nail applications they received. This suggests that the technicians may prioritize speed over ensuring a thorough and satisfactory experience for the customers. Additionally, the lack of attention to detail was indicated by complaints about crooked, bulky, and uneven nails. These issues highlight the inconsistency in the skill level of the staff members, which is a significant weakness for a nail salon.
The negative comments also raised concerns about the unprofessional behavior of some staff members. One customer mentioned an uncomfortable exchange between a technician and the owner, while another customer experienced a language barrier leading to frustration on the part of the manicurist. These incidents indicate a lack of professionalism and communication skills among some staff members, which can contribute to an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers.
Furthermore, the complaints regarding the massage chair's low intensity and the foot bath's cold water suggest that the salon may not prioritize the comfort and relaxation of their customers during the pedicure process. These issues can significantly affect the overall experience and satisfaction of customers.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the lack of attention to customer preferences or requests. Some customers reported having nail polish applied on their skin, and others mentioned that their desired pedicure service was not offered or provided. These instances of miscommunication or neglect in fulfilling customer preferences demonstrate a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer satisfaction.
Overall, while Sassy Nails Spa has strengths such as excellent customer service and the ability to create beautiful designs, they face weaknesses including rushed services, inconsistent quality, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of attention to detail and customer preferences. By addressing these weaknesses, the spa can improve their overall customer experience and reputation.

Great place to get your nails done with great customer service. I'm an impulse person so I did not have an appointment and I drove up and the sign said opened at 10:00 it was 9:30 I took a chance and went to the door it was right open and they let me in. They took me right away they had a great personality very engaging. I love the way my nails came out I ended up getting acrylic when I originally went for just a pedicure and a manicure. For gel pedicure with nail art $50 and for a full set gel with nail art was $60. I like that they take cash and debit. Definitely coming back. And I use color changing gel which was my first time and I got to say I do love it.
I got a gel manicure! It came out beautifully! She did exactly what I wanted and more. Originally $35. Then additional $5 for 2 designs. Additional $10 for designs on the whole hand. Over all $55. At first I thought they were trying to play me. But the owner kindly explained her prices to me.
I am very happy with my nails and will definitely come back again!
I went to Sassy Nails for a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. The pedicure was rushed with little in the way of benefits for the “deluxe” option - 2 min hot stone massage on the calf.
I had higher hopes for the full set but again, it was rushed. I showed the man the design I wanted - a matte base with glossy slanted French tips - and he said he could do it. Turns out he couldn’t. The nails were crooked, bulky and uneven. He attempted to fix but did not succeed. The owner took over short after an exchange between the two of them but it was so uncomfortable because of the tone of his voice and the arguing back/forth. Very unprofessional.
I know the owner tried to make it right but anything short of taking all the nails off and redoing the full set wouldn’t fix the issues.
The end result was mediocre. The nails are still slanted, bulky in areas. The glossy part on the mail is actually navy blue, not black (I didn’t notice until it was too late). I asked for coffin but ended up with mostly square shape. My finger started bleeding after intense filing and left my fingers sore for days.
I went during a time they weren’t busy and showed the design I wanted. If it couldn’t be done I would have preferred them to say that vs wasting my time and money.
I won’t be back.
My friend and I were walk-ins, as soon as we walked in we received the warmest welcome. They were very professional yet fun and enjoyable ???? the 2 of us were in and out within the hour and they did a phenomenal job! We will most definitely be going back for our summer pedi!!
Thank you so much Sassy Nails Spa
Only asked for a color and instantly started and completely destroyed my boyfriend's nails.
Very badly done, cuticles drilled and damaged (hurts a lot), and extremely expensive.
Wouldn't recommend if you want your fingers to stay intact.
Well. It was an interesting experience. I got a regular polish manicure/pedicure for $55. I tipped $15.
The massage chair had a pretty low intensity that you couldn't make stronger in the chair I was in (I had the blue one. There were 3 different types of chairs).
The foot bath was ice cold. Like I-couldn't-put-my-feet-in-cold. When someone became available, I asked if I got my could get hotter water. They said oh absolutely. Partly drained/added hot water... I got cool water. I asked for it to be a bit hotter, and they were surprised, but repeated the process, and now I'm at lukewarm. Someone asked if it was hot now, and I said not really. My manicurist felt it and said "oh that's hot!" I touched it with my hand, thinking maybe I had acclimated as the temp changed. Nope. It was barely warm. I repeated that I would like it hotter. She did, but then went off in what I assume is her native tongue, indicating she wasn't happy. I wasn't really either since it was still in the warm, not hot category, but I just left it.
The manicurist never asked which pedicure I wanted, and she gave me the basic. Which was pretty basic, but fine. I actually wanted the Chamomile, which was more expensive, but by the time I realized she wasn't going to ask, we were past the point of changing it.
Over the course of the visit, the manicurist asked me 4 times if I wanted glitter. I said, "No thanks!" Each time, but by the time we got to the manicure, she just said,"we'll do glitter on this nail. " I had to firmly say "no I don't want that."
My hands went into the UV light things between coats. I sat under the light/ fan bench for 10 minutes. My nails looked like this after I put my shoes on.
It was a pretty underwhelming-borderline-terrible service. I tipped a bit more than I normal do because maybe she was having a bad day.
I hate to be this type of person, but my friend and I went earlier today to get acrylics and they made a couple of our nails crooked and not the same size, they had to redo my friends ring fingers bc it was bulky and sloppy. They also got nail polish on our skin and left it there. I really hate to be that type of person but I had to put it out there.
I hate to be this person, but I have been here 4 times, and unfortunately, all 4 times has ended in disappointment. first and second time my polish was lumpy and the shape was sloppy. The third time, I brought a friend with me, and they refused to paint simple snakes on my friends nails, and simply used a sticker on mine, and the edges of said sticker curled up and caught on things. this last time, I have gotten them done, loved how they looked leaving the store, but once I got home, about an hour later, one broke..... not cool, but also all the gel topcoat is peeling off. its been 24 hours, and they look terrible now..... I paid $90 for this after I specifically told them that I had a budget of $82. I went in looking to get just my nails done, but after much pestering I caved and got a pedi too, after I had already told them I just wanted my nails done. I have really bad social anxiety and tried to say no. I told them several times that all I had on me was $82 cash and that was my budget, and they ignored it, having me pay $90 for services I didn't even want. I still left a $10 tip so they wouldn't hate me if that helps you understand how bad my anxiety is.
