Quick Facts About Shinsen Express

Shinsen Express has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Let's analyze them in detail.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentions that despite the place not looking very nice, the food was surprisingly good. The chicken Teriyaki and vegetable crunchy dragon roll received positive reviews in terms of taste and presentation. Additionally, the comment highlights that the restaurant offers a good selection of vegetarian options for those who are not fans of fish, which can be difficult to find in some sushi restaurants. Furthermore, the pricing is seen as reasonable for the portion sizes, indicating that customers feel they are getting good value for their money.
Another strength mentioned is the easy online ordering available, which can be convenient for customers who prefer to order takeout. This allows for a quick and efficient experience, especially for those who are busy or tired after a long day. The comment also mentions that the rolls are large and delicious, further contributing to the positive aspects of the food.
Moreover, one comment states that there is a small parking lot outside, but finding a spot was not an issue. This suggests that accessibility and parking convenience are not major problems for customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, the cleanliness of the tables seems to be an area of improvement. While the comment does mention that the tables were cleaned after the customers sat down, it implies that they were not in a satisfactory state initially. This can impact the overall dining experience and should be addressed by the restaurant.
Another weakness highlighted is the appearance of the building and interior. Multiple comments mention that the restaurant does not look nice or appealing. One comment even mentions that it looks in such a bad condition that they recommend ordering out instead of dining in. This indicates that the ambiance and overall aesthetic could be improved.
One significant weakness mentioned is the quality of the food. One customer describes it as the "worst food ever" and mentions that the General Tso chicken was dry and lacked sauce. The disappointment is evident, and the customer even had to drown the food in soy sauce to make it edible. Similarly, another comment mentions getting sick after eating at the restaurant, highlighting issues with food safety and preparation. These negative experiences can deter potential customers and harm the reputation of the restaurant.
In conclusion, Shinsen Express has strengths in terms of surprising good food, vegetarian options, reasonable pricing, and easy online ordering. However, weaknesses lie in the cleanliness of tables, appearance of the building and interior, and most importantly, the quality of the food. These weaknesses, particularly the negative experiences related to food quality and safety, need to be addressed by the restaurant to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

Not the nicest looking place, so I was not expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised! We got the chicken Teriyaki and the vegetable crunchy dragon roll. Both were so good and looked good too. I'm not a big fan of fish so I've been trying to find a good place that has yummy vegetarian sushi and I definitely found it! Also good pricing, for the amount of food you get
Small parking lot outside but we were easily able to find a spot. The tables could have been cleaner. I did see them clean them up after we sat down at one. I agree that it is more of a takeout place. There are vegetarian options available. I enjoyed the edamame and tofu plate that I ordered. Prices are reasonable as well.
Easy online ordering available. The rolls were large and very delicious. The building and interior leave a lot to be desired so I highly recommend ordering out vs. dining in. It was a perfect place to grab food after a long day of work and work travel.
Visiting from out of town and staying near the airport. This place was the nearest at the time. Placed a pick up order but not expecting too much. SURPRISED! The sushi and steak/chicken entree was delicious. The sashimi was think cuts and the rolls were good size..
Good food, quick service. A little more expensive than I thought but it’s good eats!
We’ll be back!
Worst food ever. The General Tso chicken was very dry and had no sauce on it! I had to drown it in soy sauce so I could choke it down. Was too hungry and tired to try to go get my money back. Absolutely horrible and very disappointed after a long day to end up with food like this. Sad that people think this is okay or that it even looked edible.
Grabbed some dinner there around 7pm, and by 9pm we were badly sick! We shared hibachi chicken, two sushi rolls, and crab rangoon. The chicken was decent, but the rangoon were gelatinous and tasted like they were filled with cake frosting. The California roll was standard, but the hot and spicy roll was awful. If I could give this negative stars I would! This was the first time I’ve ever eaten here, and I should have known better when we walked in. Never again.
First and last time eating here. I ordered General Tao Chicken and an order of Crab Rangoon. The was the worst food I have ever had and that’s not exaggerating. The chicken and rice was cold and had no type of sauce on it. Looked like it had been fried earlier in the day. Of course I didn’t check the food before I left the restaurant so when I got home I realized that was a waste of $20. Definitely will not be going back and do NOT recommend to anyone!!!!
