Quick Facts About Silhouette Hairstyling
Silhouette Hairstyling place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, we will analyze each comment individually.
Starting with the positive comments, one customer praises the amazing cuts and recommends calling ahead to set up an appointment. This indicates that the stylists at Silhouette Hairstyling are skilled and capable of providing excellent haircuts. Additionally, the customer mentions that the staff is friendly, which suggests that the salon has a welcoming atmosphere. This is an important strength as it contributes to a positive customer experience.
Another customer expresses their satisfaction with the service and highlights the importance of sanitation at Silhouette Hairstyling. The fact that the staff takes the time to sanitize equipment shows that they prioritize cleanliness and customer safety. This is a notable strength as it reassures customers that their health is taken seriously.
Moving on to the negative comments, one customer had a terrible experience with a stylist named Taylor Wiggins. Taylor allegedly took full payment for a wedding hairstyle but did not show up on the day of the wedding. This reflects a major weakness in the salon's management and hiring process. It is highly unprofessional to leave a bride hanging on her wedding day without any communication. The customer further mentions that they are now fighting to get a refund and considering legal action. This indicates that the salon does not handle customer complaints or issues effectively, which is another weakness.
Another customer had a bad haircut and encountered poor customer service from the manager named Liz. The stylist did not deliver a satisfactory result, and when the customer voiced their concerns, Liz argued with them and crossed professional boundaries by touching their hair without consent. This highlights a weakness in both the stylists' skills and the salon's customer service. A good salon should strive to rectify any mistakes made by their staff and treat their customers with respect and professionalism.
One customer warns against getting a haircut from a specific stylist named Martin. They claim that Martin provided a substandard haircut and had to fix it themselves. This indicates a weakness in Martin's skills and suggests that there may be variability in the quality of cuts provided by different stylists at Silhouette Hairstyling.
On a positive note, a customer praises a stylist named Stephenie for her amazing work and professional approach. This suggests that there are competent and skilled stylists at Silhouette Hairstyling, which is a strength for the salon.
In summary, the strengths of Silhouette Hairstyling include skilled stylists that can provide amazing cuts, a clean and tidy environment, friendly staff, and a stylist who goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The weaknesses of Silhouette Hairstyling include poor management, unprofessional behavior from stylists and the manager, inconsistency in the quality of cuts, and an inability to handle customer complaints effectively. These weaknesses greatly impact the overall customer experience and should be addressed by the salon to improve their reputation and customer satisfaction.

Amazing cuts here, and while you have the option of walking in and waiting for a barber, I would recommend calling ahead of time and setting up an appointment. It's super easy and I was able to get it scheduled within 30 seconds. The place itself is clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly. My favorite local barber by far.
I had my best hair ever here..wonderful service and the entire staff made sure that everything is sanitized everytime it's used. They are the best in the area. My sister also got her highlights from here and loved the results
Is this a joke??? I came in around 7:45pm on a Friday night and this is the type of service I get (they close at 9pm - plenty of time to do a good job without being rushed). Uneven haircut, choppy, and no attention to detail. The stylist used a men's razor to quickly trim my ends in a straight line. I've never had anyone used a razor on me... I have long hair, who knows what they're thinking. Basically, you get what you pay for and worse. Having to pay for another haircut elsewhere to help fix this horrendous disaster.
Taylor Wiggins that works for this salon, took my new wife's full payment up front to do her hair on our wedding day, and did not show up, call, or message Us in any way. She flat out left my new bride hanging in our hotel room. Thank God our friends and relatives jumped in and did her hair before she walked down the aisle. I cannot understand how a business like this can employ hairdressers like Taylor to leave a bride on her wedding day after taking all her money up front and had the scheduled appointment booked well in advance. Now we are fighting to get refunded. Legal action is being drawn up now against the salon and Taylor but this is totally unacceptable business practice. Beware of this happening to you. I would not wish this upon any bride or anyone to go through the trauma that we went through on our wedding day from this place and Taylor
I have been here twice. Alicia has been thorough and ensures i am happy before i leave. When the color didnt come out exactly as i had asked, she kept me another hour and made sure I had exactly what I wanted. I loved how the color turned out.
Their prices are great.
I have become a long term customer.
I received a terrible haircut by a stylist of the name of Anna or Annabel, but what has driven me to write this review is the horrid customer service I encountered by the "manager" named LIZ.
I didn't realize she was done cutting my hair and it still looked blunt and undone. She cuts a little more and I go and pay, with a tip making sure to be courteous of the time since it was 10 after closing.
I get home and my hair is COMPLETELY UNEVEN. I'm disappointed that Annabel would allow me to leave with such a terrible, unsymmetrical cut.
I call the next day which is Monday morning asking to speak to Annabel but she is not in so I ask for the manager. I shared my story of how unhappy I was with my results and Liz says to come on in and she'll take a look at my haircut.
I walk in and ask for Liz. I see she is finished with a client and suggest that she take care of him first while I wait. After patiently waiting, she wants to show me that my cut is even, and looks good. I told her exactly "my hair is uneven from the back and from the front". Liz continues to use a brush and touch my hair and shoulders without asking for consent, this woman has no boundaries! I told her "Can we decide to disagree, issue my refund so you can continue with business". Instead, Liz decides she wants to continue to argue and keep touching my hair to "show me that it's a good haircut" and even had the courage to ask "Are you a professional? I am the expert, are YOU a professional?"
After I received my refund, I asked for my receipt back that clearly says customer copy. To my surprise, Liz withheld and refuse to give me back MY CUSTOMER COPY RECEIPT. I rightfully took what was mine from her hand and walked out. She yelled "You're mean" before I walked out the door, I have dignity and composed myself by wishing her a great day.
This sort of customer service is highly inappropriate in all ways, I had a terrible cut and I'm unhappy that Annabel didn't deliver her best and left me with a botched haircut. But the treatment I received from Liz continuing to argue with me in front of fellow stylists, and other clients, and crossing the line by continuing to touch my hair while waving the brush in my face to disagree with me by far the most appalling thing I've encountered. Don't go to this $15 cut place, the $50 or $100 is worth it than this sorry excuse for an establishment.
A closer look at this unsymmetrical haircut by Annabelle, supervised by Liz Alcantar. The fellow colleagues (Stephanie Alcantar and Stephanie Valenzuela) who write reviews for the sole purpose of falsely claiming to be clients, check out the unacceptable, UNEVEN, BUTCHERED cut I received. As clearly shown, one side if significantly shorter than the other, and there's an almost 6-inch space between a layer as evident where I circled.
(This review is for men's haircut)
If you are looking for an affordable haircut, this place is usually ok. You get for what you pay for, so don't expect barber quality haircut. Most of the ladies will do a decent job.
Do NOT get a haircut from the guy on the far right (Martin). If you need a haircut in under 5min and don't care what you will look like, this is your guy. If you have a grain of care for your self appearance, you definitely do not want to get a haircut from this guy. I made the mistake of getting a haircut from him, and unfortunately, i ended up fixing it myself by buzzing my hair.
Stephenie does amazing work, she's very knowledgeable and professional. I make a 45 minute drive to have her cut and color my hair. I would highly recommend her, I receive so many compliments. I am very hesitant when it comes to people touching my hair, I love my hair but i Will definitely continue to let her cut color and style my hair. She did a great job!! Thank you!
