Quick Facts About Stew's Barber Shop

Stew's Barber Shop, based on the comments provided, has several strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring positive aspect mentioned by multiple customers is the friendly and great staff. The staff members are described as efficient, proficient, and capable salon stylists. This indicates that Stew's Barber Shop has a team of skilled professionals who are able to provide quality haircuts. Additionally, the customer who had a military cut specifically praised the barber for executing a low skin fade properly, which suggests that the barbers at Stew's Barber Shop are well-trained and capable of handling various haircut styles.
Another strength of Stew's Barber Shop is its competitive pricing. Multiple customers mentioned the affordable prices, which were seen as extremely competitive. This affordability factor implies that Stew's Barber Shop offers good value for money, especially when combined with the efficient and great haircuts mentioned in the comments.
The atmosphere at Stew's Barber Shop is also highlighted as a strength. Customers appreciated the greetings upon entering and the well wishes upon leaving. This indicates that the shop creates a welcoming and friendly environment for customers, which can contribute to a positive experience. Additionally, the mention of the shop doubling as an antique store suggests that Stew's Barber Shop offers a unique and interesting waiting area, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for customers.
Furthermore, the efficiency of the haircuts and the quick service provided by the barbers are strengths mentioned by customers. The comments commend the barbers for their proficiency and speed, indicating that customers are able to get a good haircut in a timely manner. This quick service can be appealing to busy individuals who prioritize efficiency.
On the other hand, Stew's Barber Shop has a few weaknesses that were highlighted in the comments. One customer mentioned receiving a subpar haircut from a barber who seemed inexperienced and did not understand their request for a mid fade. This suggests that the overall consistency of the barbers' skills might be a weakness, as not all customers receive the same level of expertise. However, another customer specified that getting a haircut from Stew himself ensures a good experience, so the inconsistency might be limited to certain barbers.
Another weakness is the rushed service mentioned by one customer. This implies that sometimes the barbers may prioritize speed over providing a thorough haircut, potentially compromising the quality of the service. This rushed service may not be ideal for customers who prefer attention to detail and a more relaxed experience.
Additionally, one negative comment mentioned the unsatisfactory haircut given to a toddler. The customer expressed disappointment with the outcome, describing it as looking like a "bowl cut." This suggests that the barbers might not specialize in children's cuts or may lack the skill to handle haircuts for younger customers.
Moreover, one customer's negative experience with the phone service and greetings was mentioned, with the initial response being perceived as rude. This indicates a weakness in customer service and communication skills, which may affect the overall experience of potential customers. Good customer service is essential for creating a positive impression and building customer loyalty.
In conclusion, while Stew's Barber Shop has several strengths such as a friendly and skilled staff, competitive pricing, a welcoming atmosphere, and efficient service, there are also weaknesses in terms of inconsistency in the quality of haircuts, rushed service, lack of expertise in children's cuts, and issues with customer service. It is important for the shop to address these weaknesses and focus on consistently delivering high-quality haircuts and improving communication with customers to further enhance their overall experience.

Best TL Reviews

Came here because my usual barber was closed, now Stew's will be my usual barber. Staff was great. Doubles as an antique store so that was fun while waiting for a seat.
Also if you're looking for extremely competitive prices alongside efficient and great haircuts, this is the place.
I don't even understand how it's so cheap. Great little shop!
Great atmosphere... Greetings upon entering to well wishes upon leaving.
The barbers (more like salon stylists) are excellent. Friendly, Efficient, Proficient in their skills. I will be using this particular location of Stew's again.
Didn’t get my barbers name but she was a nice young lady from fallbrook and very happy. Was great ???????? honestly did exactly what I asked and for a military cut can’t get much better than it. I’ve been cut around the world and no one ever does the low skin fade properly but she did. Will definitely be going back and hoping to get her again. I was a regular at another Stews and was always happy with my cut, this is a good business. Honest and happy people. The Shops are all kind but it’s the barber who makes the cut, so I’ll be back for my low skin fade done properly.
Quick, and really good hair cut. Aesthetic of the place is awesome too. 10/10
Stew gave me the best haircut I've had in years
I like Stew, but he was busy. Got my hair cut by some lady who pretty much had no idea what she was doing it seemed. I wanted a mid fade.. She shaved the sides of my hair and left the top uncut and untrimmed, totally forgot what I asked for and made up some wild style that I didn't vibe with. Get Stew. He's the dude.
Fast, friendly, affordable, and alot of cool stuff to look at.
Barber was in a rush. I brought my toddler in for a hair cut and couldn’t tell the outcome because his hair was wet and combed to the side. But when it’s dry it looks like they put a bowl on his head and cut around it. I don’t even want to bring him back to get this fixed so I’ll be taking my son to another shop to fix his hair. These guys can’t cut hair. Not to mention when I called to schedule an appointment the first response I got was “stews shop, I see your area code is 949 this location is in Temecula” This is not the way to answer your phones and greet potential customers, it was actually rude. I am aware my area code is 949 I moved here from Orange County. Doesn’t mean I need to change my number to fit the area code.
