Had an appointment for 12:30, didn't get in the chair until 1:10. 40 minutes because you weren't paying attention to the time?? Lol. That's your excuse? Owner there, did nothing. Wouldn't help come up with a solution. Like can you wash my kids hair so that the person who can't tell time can get started as soon as she can?? Nope. Not even busy!! If I didn't have a gift card to use up, I would have walked out. Put us behind for all other appointments. Ridiculous. Won't be back and will make sure to let others know about it. What happened to this place?? Maybe they should think about getting all digital clocks to help the staff out.
Super beautiful salon...Just went for a trim with the wonderful hairdresser Maria!! My hair looks beautiful and so much healthier. I will definitely be back and not only for a trim but maybe one of their other services from nails to makeup to massages!
Great place! I’ve gotten my nails done there a couple of times before and always am satisfied with the gel manicure. Recently got my hair done by Amanda and she was amazing! Prices are fair, they get you in on time and overall it’s a relaxing place for a little self care.
My son gifted me a spa certificate for Christmas. I've driven past the Studio Expo Salon many times, but never tried them. Amanda gave me an amazing haircut using the latest techniques. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. After my cut I received a wonderful European facial with Alexis. She had a gentle, soothing touch. My skin felt amazing and I left feeling wonderfully renewed. I highly recommend you visit Studio Expo Salon & Spa!
I am BEYOND upset with hairdresser Karen. We had a long conversation (when she did my daughters hair the same day) about how I HATE my hair short. I’ve overweight and personally, it makes me look bigger and makes me feel so self conscious. It took years to grow my hair down to my hips after another hairdresser cut it to my shoulders and melted my hair and I cried. We discussed multiple times that I wanted my hair to be cut 1-2.5 inches MAX…. She ended up taking off about 7-9 inches (because that’s “where the brush stopped” as she said). I’ve never had a hairdresser cut my hair without brushing through it first- let alone section it off. I don’t understand what Karen was thinking- unless she didn’t want to brush it. We talked about how much I wanted off and she promised she wouldn’t cut it too short… when I told her it was too short, my eyes filled with tears and I bit my tongue to keep from bawling… she knew I was upset and yet wanted to keep cutting. I told her I didn’t want anymore off and I didn’t want a style. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. When I left, I called to speak to a manager and still have not heard anything… I’m soo upset this is exactly what I asked for her to NOT do. I’m self conscious, I hate my hair and they can’t glue it back into my head so it’s not like they can fix it.
I wanted to get more services done here, but now- I don’t think so. I called and asked for a hairdresser that knew how to cut curly hair in the first place. I saw very few bad reviews for this place too… now it’s going to take a year and a half for my hair to grow back.
Best experience I've ever had with a salon and anyone ever doing my hair. They are true professionals. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The salon is pristine and organized, it's obvious everyone who works here loves they're job and performs to the best of ability. The consultation was very clear and my expectations were precisely met and I couldn't be happier with my stylist. Never had such a fantastic experience and I recommend this to anyone in need of any beauty treatments. I can't wait to try out they're massages and skin treatments!!

I get my pedicures and manicures done here with Lisa - she is the best nail technician I have ever had work on me! Very good at her job. Also, very funny and great personality!
Also, my son gets his hair cut here by Shannon. You would think a boy's cut would be easy, but it took me years to find someone who was good at it! Shannon is amazing at getting my son's hair in shape without ruining it. I feel like before Shannon I was just grateful if a haircut was done ok, as long as it wasn't awful! Now I know boy's can have great haircuts as well! Shannon is also incredible with little kids. Her outgoing and exuberant personality really makes my son feel welcome and not like he's some annoying kid on the schedule. She talks to him the whole time, spins him around in the chair, jokes with us. She's fantastic!

I was from out of state, here visiting friends, and wanted a high-light prior to going to my husband's family reunion in the Glens Falls area. AMANDA, the young lady that took care of me, was Extremely knowledgeable, quick, and very precise in her job. She is a true asset to this Salon & Spa. She was very friendly, courteous, and willing to and did answer all my questions prior to starting the high-lights., if there were a 10* rating, this Salon & Spa and Amanda would be receiving it. THANK-YOU so Very, very for the OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!
