Quick Facts About Sunrise Nails & Spa

Sunrise Nails & Spa is a nail salon that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers have had positive experiences and praised the salon for its quality service, others have had negative experiences with the staff and the quality of their nail treatments. In this analysis, we will delve into the strengths and weaknesses of Sunrise Nails & Spa based on the comments provided.
One area where Sunrise Nails & Spa seems to excel is in the skill of their nail technicians. Customers have mentioned specific technicians, such as Sandy and Nancy, who have provided excellent service and showcased their meticulousness in their work. The positive experiences of these customers demonstrate the expertise and talent of certain staff members at the salon. This can be considered a strength of Sunrise Nails & Spa as it suggests that they have skilled professionals who can deliver exceptional results.
Additionally, customers mention the affordability of the services at Sunrise Nails & Spa. Feedback indicates that the prices for shellac nails and spa pedicures are reasonable, with one customer even mentioning that they were impressed by the costs based on their mother's recommendation. This affordability could be a unique selling point for Sunrise Nails & Spa, attracting customers who are looking for quality service at a reasonable price.
Moreover, the salon seems to have a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Customers mention that they were greeted quickly, even when the salon was busy, and were received positively by the staff. This positive and warm environment can contribute to enhancing the overall experience for customers and make them feel comfortable and satisfied with the service they receive.
However, Sunrise Nails & Spa does have some weaknesses that should be addressed. One of the recurring issues mentioned by dissatisfied customers is the lack of attention to detail and poor customer service. Several customers reported that their nails were not painted properly, their cuticles were not well-maintained, and their nails were left uneven. Additionally, there were complaints about the quality of some services, such as eyebrow shaping, with customers stating that the colors did not match the swatches and that cuticles were not properly snipped. These flaws in service suggest a lack of consistency and attention to detail among the staff, which could hinder the reputation of Sunrise Nails & Spa.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the abrupt and rude behavior of some staff members. One customer reported that staff members became irritated when asked about the pricing and stopped engaging in conversation altogether. This negative attitude can significantly impact the customer's experience and may deter them from returning to the salon. Poor customer service, such as rude behavior and an unfriendly attitude, can harm the reputation of a business and discourage potential customers from trying their services.
Another weakness of Sunrise Nails & Spa is the inconsistency in the quality of their services. While some customers have had positive experiences and were satisfied with their treatments, others have had multiple disappointing experiences. It is important for a salon to maintain consistency in the quality of their services to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Inconsistency in service quality can lead to a loss of trust and reputation among customers.
In conclusion, Sunrise Nails & Spa has strengths in terms of the skill of some of their technicians, the affordability of their services, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, weaknesses lie in the lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and inconsistency in service quality. Addressing these weaknesses is crucial for improving the overall customer experience and maintaining a positive reputation for Sunrise Nails & Spa.

I came in for shellac nails and spa pedicure. They did them at the same time, which I found the opposite or relaxing. I asked the cost, to which they told me. My mom goes here often and she had mentioned how great costs were ($20 for shellac). I called her while the technicians were working on my nails, just to confirm I was even at the right place. Unfortunately, this really upset the staff. They told me it was $30 for shellac. They were irritated I was asking about this. I absolutely do not mind paying this, as it’s a standard cost, but I wanted to make sure with my mom that I was at the right place. The employee in charge then told me it is $20 without a manicure. The manicure was already in process and I didn’t mind paying $30. From this point on, none of the employees would engage in any conversation. They moved quickly through my service (20 minutes and it was all done). In the end, my nails looked absolutely awful. My cuticles weren’t pushed back, they had trimmed some and left the fraying edges of others, they left paint on my nails, and they didn’t even shape my nails. At the end, the employee in charge (who had not completed the service) asked if I didn’t like them, so I showed her. She went on to say I had short nails and they couldn’t be shaped (I’ve had short nails my whole life and have easily had them shaped). It was lifting in one spot. Parts of my nail weren’t painted. She went on to say “they are perfect”. The shop was full, so I’m sure she didn’t want other people to hear her admit they were awful, as she quickly offered not to charge me for my nails. I was so disappointed in this experience, especially because of the reviews. I am attaching photos, but the photos are hard to show what is wrong- paint left on my fingers, nails not painted all the way, manicure simply not performed well, all uneven. Just wanted to warn others not to spend $70 here!
I have to say Sandy is simply amazing! I started going to see her for my nails almost a year ago. She listens to what I want/need (her and Nancy may have laughed a bit…lol) but my actual “real” nails suck. They grow awkwardly.
Moving to a new town, having had the same person do my nails for years when I lived in California, a change is hard. But Sandy has been great!
I did get a bit upset one time about a design and I do not like to be rude to anyone or make anyone feel bad. So I just didn’t go back. Let me tell you, I went to 5 different places and not ONE of them could do what Sandy does! She is very meticulous and I love it! I will never go anywhere else. This pic is what she did for me yesterday, exactly what I wanted! Sandy you are amazing!!!
I’ve been going here for about 3 years now. Absolutely love the ladies. Especially sandy, but the others are great too. They did amazing on these fall leaf nails my sister and I got. I can’t remember the other lady’s name that did my eyebrows too but she did a phenomenal job. Definitely worth a visit, and worth your money!
My sister and I were walkins on a Sunday afternoon and we were greated and seated quickly even though the salon was busy.
We were visiting Sunrise today to fix sub par nails that we had from a salon in Graham. We are both very happy with the service we received here at Sunrise Nails and Spa and we will be returning. Thank you????
Cindy made my nails so pretty!! This was a birthday gift to myself and I couldn’t be happier :)
I looove coming to sunrise nails! i go there all the time. they are great! and its only about 5 min away from home! Sandy & Nancy are great. i usually get my nails done by one of them. The girls doing pedicures are great! the whole staff here is amazing????
I’ve went here multiple times trying to give these kind ladies a chance to redeem themselves but they insist on doing it their way and then tell you it’s all good! They fall terribly short in customer service! And unfortunately quality of service is extremely poor as well—colors don’t match the swatches, cuticles are not properly snipped, buffing and filing is insufficient (leave with jagged edges), constantly hurting you with the tools (patting you saying “it’s fine”), foot & arm massages are supposed to be relaxing not pain enduring from sharp nails and rubbing your shin bone. To add insult to injury, at check out, “you leave tip???!” Tipping is a gracious thank you for a service well done. Forking over $80 for a 2 hr gel mani/pedi here is not worth it! Sunrise, you’ve lost my business. PS please ask you’re customers if you can touch their personal belongings before doing so!
I've been going here every two weeks for the last 3+ months. They always do such a nice job and the prices definitely can't be beat for gel acrylics/fill ins. I'm rough on my hands and have a crazy work schedule so I'm always doing walk ins....I've never had to wait and they've always got my claws feeling pretty again. Definitely reccomend.
