Quick Facts About Thai Cottage Spa

Thai Cottage Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that they always get a basic pedicure and are never disappointed. This indicates that the salon does a good job with pedicures, providing satisfactory results consistently. Another strength pointed out by a customer is the nail technician named Andy, who was described as great, kind, and funny. This suggests that the salon has skilled and personable staff members who are able to provide a positive experience for customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, the most common issue raised by multiple customers is the rushed and poor quality service they received. Customers complained about feeling rushed to pick a color, having their desired designs rejected, and the technicians not taking proper care of their nails and cuticles. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and customer satisfaction. One customer even mentioned that their nails were left bleeding and full of acrylic, highlighting a serious concern for the health and safety practices of the salon. Another customer mentioned that their nails were cut too short and poorly painted, resulting in a frustrating experience.
Communication and organization also seem to be weak points for the spa. One customer expressed disappointment that they had to wait for a long time to receive the requested services and witnessed other customers being attended to before them, despite arriving earlier. This suggests a lack of effective scheduling and communication within the salon. Another customer mentioned that the salon failed to understand their requests for specific nail styles, resulting in mismatched and unsatisfactory nail designs.
Furthermore, there are complaints indicating rudeness and unprofessional behavior from the staff members. One customer mentioned being laughed at and made fun of by the technician and another customer felt that they were treated dismissively, potentially due to racism. These incidents reflect poorly on the professionalism and customer service provided by the spa.
Finally, there is a comment about skin irritation and itchiness after having the nails done. Although this could be a personal reaction, it raises concerns about the products used or the sanitation practices at the spa.
In conclusion, the strengths of Thai Cottage Spa seem to lie in their ability to provide satisfying pedicures and having skilled and personable staff members. However, the weaknesses highlighted include rushed and poor quality service, lack of attention to detail and customer satisfaction, communication and organizational issues, unprofessional behavior from staff members, and potential concerns about product quality and sanitation practices.

Best TL Reviews

AWFUL. I set up two appts for a full set and fill for me and my friend. Immediately when we walked in we were rushed to pick a color. My friend was told her previous nails were not able to be filled which was not true at all. We were sat across the salon from each other and every time my friend would show Diane a design she would say she can’t do it or won’t. Then she would speak very loud to the man and they would both start laughing, normally i wouldn’t think anything of this but it was happening multiple times after we would talk to them so they were very clearly making fun of us. I asked for coffins and these are literally the worst coffins i’ve ever seen they’re thick, squares and crooked. The guy didn’t clip my nails or my cuticles overall was in a major rush and didn’t do a good job. I took the nails off after a week, now my nails are extremely damaged and I will never be coming back.
Horrible experience. I never leave reviews so this tells. I did a walk in and they said they had time. They clearly did not. I asked for a dip manicure. The man that did my nails rushed the whole thing. Didn’t cut my nails, didn’t treat my cuticles, was rude, shook his head at me when I couldn’t relax (well duh, I was being jerked around and it was clear I wasn’t wanted there). He also up charged me $5 for the manicure, that wasn’t even a full manicure, more like a polish change…..and then hovered me when I did the tip. He was rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning and will be making sure none of my girls come here either. My nails for vacation now look chunky and rushed. I’m super upset. I would have been happier if they just told me they didn’t have time. I shouldn’t want to cry in the middle of having my nails done lmao
If I could do zero I would. I got a full acrylic set and I originally wanted a MATTE red coffin but instead I got a shiney red almond? The tech was literally yanking my arms and hands around, she did not give me what I wanted and did not communicate if she was able too or not. The set that I ended up with isn’t even. She didn’t cut or push down my cuticles and she put the acrylic over them.
That was my first time there and the LAST TIME.
I will NOT be returning. When I arrived, I was asked what services I wanted; I replied Mani, Pedi. I was put in a pedi chair in good time and got a decent pedicure. I wanted regular polish so I waited in the pedi chair for about 20 minutes after they were done to let the paint dry. Then I was put at a drying station, I sat there for another 20 minutes before I was told I was “good to go”. So I reminded them that I wanted a manicure as well. They responded that they didn’t know I wanted a manicure and told me to wait a few minutes. I waited 20 minutes. Meanwhile I watched 4 customers who came in after me get seated at mani stations and were actually done before I was put at a mani station. At this point I had been in the salon for over two hours. Then a technician spent 10 minutes, that’s right, TEN minutes on my manicure. He managed to CHOP my nails so short that he was filing the tips of my fingers and then painted my nails worse than I could do. Then I was sat back at a drying station. I sat at the drying station for 30 minutes. My nail polish was bubbly and still not dry since he had coated the nails so thick. I was so frustrated that I just walked out without caring if I ruined the polish because I could easily redo it, possibly better. What was supposed to be a treat for myself, quickly turned into a waste of time and money.
Worst nail experience of my life. I wish so could give 0 stars. Not only did they lie to me telling me they could give me what I showed them they were also extremely rude and rushed through it. Left my hands bleeding and full of acrylic. I hate this place.
I always get a basic pedicure and I am never disappointed :) I love this place & have enjoyed my experience every time so far!
Racism at its best. My husband and I were referred from a client of theirs. Looked at us like we were in the wrong salon or something. Was dismissive could’ve gained a loyal customer. 1st and last time
Andy was great! I told him the wrong thing with my nails and he told me he would fix them. And he did. He was so kind and funny. I dont think I could have ask for a better nail technician. The only reason i gave them 4 and not 5 is because my skin got irritated and itchy today. (I had them done yesterday)
I dont know if it was a product they used. But above all my nails. Its red and itchy.
