Best TL Reviews

Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Nice atmosphere. Got a great haircut, professional service and good conversation! $20 bucks is a very fair price now days. Give this place a shot! The owner was friendly, skilled and there are not many owner operated small businesses like this anymore. Feels good to support these types of establishments where a real customer service experience is still offered. Thank you Connor
Connor does a great job every time. He has raised his prices but is still a barber worth every dime. I recommend him to ever guy I know.
This place has been transformed from a previous Mayberry and Floyd type of feel, to a modern rockabilly type feel. Kudos to the team for pulling this off! It's where the lost boys should be getting there hairs did!
Jim is a easy going guy that good conversationalist and a skilled barber.
Update: the new owner Baldwin is doing a great job carrying on great service and customer service that I come to expect from this barber shop.
Jim knew exactly how to cut my hair. I would be going back more if his hours were better. For those who want a laid back atmosphere with quite fun and interesting conversations if you're a guy is well worth it. Definitely an old school barbershop, one of the last out there in KC it seems. Also he's very inexpensive, like $9 inexpensive at the time of this review!!! (Make sure you tip him well). Just expect a wait sometimes.
Definitely one of the best haircuts I've gotten in my life from one of the nicest guys I've met in the haircutting business. I just wish his hours were better as they almost never work with my schedule. If you can make it, you HAVE to check out Jim!!!
Jim sold the business and the new owner does not deliver the same quality haircut, unfortunately. My dad came home and I looked at his hair cut and was truly appalled for him. It was so bad. He kept going back trying to give the owner more chance to practice cutting hair but this time was the worst I’ve seen it out of the times he has gone. I had to leave a review to hopefully save others from the same experience.
If you need a haircut or shave come see my man Connor he'll hook you up at Baldwin barbers best haircut in town anyway you're at it get a hot shave
Update. Jim has moved on which is sad, but I understand why and wish him the best. If you are in Clinton, MO, look Jim up as you won't be dissapointed. Clinton, MO, you are getting a great barber.
Conor has taken over the shop. He's not answering the phone so unsure if the shop is still open as I was driving from Blue Springs to have Jim cut my hair and don't want to drive over if the guy's not open.
He is new at cutting hair. He did OK and my hair is not easy by any stretch (Jim was the first guy to really figure it out and explain it in a way I can tell others in the future). I hope people give him a break and a chance as it will take him time to learn and to become a Jim. Certainly for the fact he's still charging 9 bucks a cut, give the guy a break.

Jim does a great job. Reasonably priced at $9. I tip well because he is worth more. Men talk...old style barber shop. You won't be disappointed.
