Quick Facts About The Bull
The Bull place has several strengths that make it an attractive option for customers. One of the strengths mentioned in the comments is the friendly atmosphere of the pub. Customers appreciate the warm hospitality and the delightful staff that make them feel welcome. This creates a positive dining experience and encourages customers to return.
The outdoor space of The Bull place is also mentioned as a strength. Customers appreciate the ample outdoor seating, which provides a nice option for enjoying meals and drinks in the fresh air. This is especially appealing during the summer months or for customers who prefer outdoor dining.
Another strength of The Bull place is the variety of the food menu. Customers mention that the menu covers typical bar food, Thai cuisine, and Greek dishes. This diverse selection gives customers a range of options to choose from. However, some customers mention that the extensive menu can make it difficult to decide what to eat. Nonetheless, the variety can be seen as a positive aspect, as it caters to different tastes and preferences.
Customers also appreciate the quality of the Thai food at The Bull place. Some customers mention that the Thai dishes, such as the Thai red chicken curry and the Pad Thai, were enjoyable and flavorful. This indicates that the Thai cuisine at The Bull place is a strength and a recommended choice for customers.
In terms of weaknesses, there are a few points mentioned in the comments. One weakness highlighted by a customer is the pricing of the food. Comparisons are made to other central London Thai pubs, and it is noted that The Bull place has higher pricing. This can be seen as a drawback for customers, as it may make them hesitant to return or opt for other cheaper options in the area.
The quality of some specific dishes is also mentioned as a weakness. Customers comment that the fish and chips and burgers were average, and they recommend avoiding them. Additionally, some customers express disappointment with the kids' meal, as it resembled frozen fish fingers. This suggests that the overall consistency and quality of the food may vary, which can be a letdown for customers expecting a better dining experience.
There are also some comments about the presentation of certain dishes. Customers mention that the fried squid looked disappointing but tasted better than expected. Similarly, it is noted that the baked feta lacked presentation skills. These comments indicate that there may be room for improvement in terms of the aesthetics of the dishes served at The Bull place.
Finally, a few customers express disappointment with certain aspects of their dining experience. One customer mentions that there were only a few people in the pub on a Saturday night past 8pm. This may suggest that the pub lacks a bustling or lively atmosphere during certain times, which can influence the overall experience for some customers. Additionally, one customer mentions that the noise from the road beside the garden was a downside. This highlights a potential issue with the pub's location and its impact on the ambience of the outdoor seating area.
In conclusion, The Bull place has several strengths that include a friendly atmosphere, ample outdoor space, and a diverse food menu. The Thai cuisine is often praised by customers, and the staff receive positive feedback for their service. However, there are also some weaknesses to consider. These include higher pricing compared to similar establishments, inconsistent food quality, some unimpressive dish presentations, and potential issues with the atmosphere and location. Overall, these strengths and weaknesses should be taken into account when considering a visit to The Bull place.
Best TL Reviews
Overall a nice friendly pub with lots of outdoor space. The food menu is quite substantial covering typical bar food, Thai as well as Greek which makes it quite difficult to pick what to eat. The food in general was just about okay, I think the Thai is probably is your best bet. The fish and chips and the burgers were quite average so I'd recommend to give them a miss. The fried squid is very disappointing to look at but tasted better than it looked. The kids fish fingers looked like out of a frozen birds eye box which is a bit disappointing as you're paying £9 for a kids meal. The pricing is a lot higher than similar central London Thai pubs which to me is a bit shocking tbh. I don't think I see myself going back there.... ????
We had weekend dinner at this place and can say nothing compares to town food we used to have at restaurants. We ordered ribs and marinated chicken. Food was so delicious and I don’t remember when I eat such fresh chips.
Lady who served our table was so lovely and nice.

Definitely come back!
Had a fantastic lunch here the other week, got a couple sharing platters and some beer. Guinness was poured properly by the older lady who was an absolute delight. Big up the Greek bloke who gave us a couple extra rings because he dropped one! Legend nice place will come again
I have been going to the Bull for years, it is my favourite place to eat! I was really sceptical when the previous owners left and it was taken over. However, if it was even possible the food now, is even better! The staff are absolutely delightful, really kind and welcoming. I highly recommend The Bull you won’t be disappointment!
Excellent service.
Great food.
Warm hospitality and appreciated the suggestions on what to try on the menu.
Well worth a visit.
Only people in the pub on a Saturday night eating past 8pm..
No bread and oils, only Tzatziki suggested, which was ok but tasted like just cucumber and mayonnaise with some warm pitta on reflection.
Baked feta was nice, but presentation skills lacking.
The Pad thai my partner had was inedible, hard noodles, no crunch of fresh veggies or nuts, and left frankly, a disgusting stale fish taste in your mouth for ages afterwards.
My Panang curry had lovely flavours, hence two stars, and the lady serving our table was efficient.
Chocolate brownie for desert was left mostly uneaten too as it tasted microwaved and processed, along with the ice cream. Shame, as it was my birthday and was looking forward to a decent meal.
Enjoyable Thai menu with all the classics available. Very efficient waiting staff - we ate outside but food and drinks came out quickly. They did some European food but for something a bit different it was very good.
Good service and excellent food, even though we booked the table for just 30 minutes before the kitchen closed.
Thai red chicken curry was very good, as was the toned down Thai vegetarian curry.
The only downside was the noise from the road beside the garden.
There's a good selection on the menu, including some nice vegetarian options.
Definitely worth a visit.
