Quick Facts About The Pheasant

The Pheasant place has a number of strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, the food is consistently praised for its quality and taste. Multiple reviewers mention that the food is cooked well, fresh, and amazing. This indicates that the establishment prioritizes the quality of their dishes, which is a strength in attracting customers who are looking for delicious meals.
Additionally, the presence of inflatable slides and a play area for children is mentioned as a positive aspect of The Pheasant place. This indicates that the pub is family-friendly and provides entertainment for young ones, making it an attractive option for families seeking a place to dine and relax. It shows that the establishment caters to a broader audience, which can lead to customer loyalty and repeat visits.
The staff is repeatedly praised for being friendly and pleasant. Reviewers mention that they enjoy coming to The Pheasant place because of the chatty and pleasant staff, indicating that the overall service experience is positive. Friendliness and good customer service are essential strengths for any establishment, as they contribute to a positive dining experience and encourage customers to return.
Furthermore, the beer garden is mentioned as a positive aspect, specifically noting that it has plenty of tables and offers shade options. This provides customers with flexibility and comfort, allowing them to enjoy the outdoor space regardless of their preference for sun exposure. The availability of shaded tables demonstrates consideration for customer comfort and enhances the overall experience of dining outside during good weather.
However, there are also some weaknesses highlighted in the comments. One reviewer mentions that the meals are not prepared in the pub's kitchen, but rather sourced from take away outlets. This suggests that there may be limited control and consistency in the quality of the meals. As a result, customers may have varying experiences with the food and could potentially be disappointed if their expectations are not met.
Another weakness mentioned is that some staff members are described as rude and abusive. This is a significant concern as it tarnishes the overall service experience and can drive customers away. It indicates a lack of professionalism and proper training, which can greatly impact the reputation of the establishment.
Another comment reflects a negative experience when making a complaint, mentioning that the person addressing the complaint had an attitude and is described as having "little man syndrome." This suggests that there may be a lack of effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills among the staff. Such situations can lead to further customer dissatisfaction and a negative perception of the establishment.
While the pub receives praise for its food and staff, a potential weakness is highlighted regarding their delivery service. One reviewer advises against ordering through third-party delivery platforms and suggests calling the pub directly for delivery. This implies that there may be issues with the reliability or quality of delivery when using external services. This weakness might limit customer convenience and could deter potential customers who prefer the ease of online ordering.
Additionally, there are mentions of the lighting being dim and the pub feeling cold. These factors contribute to the overall ambiance of the establishment and can impact the comfort of the customers. Poor lighting and temperature control may lead to a less enjoyable experience for patrons, potentially discouraging them from returning.
In conclusion, The Pheasant place has several strengths, including consistently praised food, a family-friendly environment with entertainment options for children, pleasant staff, and a well-equipped beer garden. However, there are weaknesses such as meals sourced from takeaways, some staff members being rude and abusive, potential issues with delivery service, and concerns about lighting and temperature. These strengths and weaknesses should be taken into consideration when assessing The Pheasant place's attractiveness to customers and overall customer satisfaction.

The food is gorgeous, everything I’ve tried had been SO tasty !! The 2 inflatable slides and play area keep the children entertained. This pub is our new “go to” pub on a sunny evening !! The staff are pleasant and chatty and we enjoy coming here, the beer garden has plenty of tables with plenty of them in the shade too if you wish to stay out the sun like me ????????
The food was amazing cooked well and fresh the place was very busy but had a good atmosphere I will definitely be going back
The meals are not from their kitchen but from the take away outlets on the island
The staff are rude and abusive they don’t know what customer service is.
When I made a reasonable complaint the man with the little man syndrome came to sort. Don’t go there
Ask the surrounding community what he’s really like
Great service and if something on the menu but not in the set meal, ask them they will do everything possible to please. Do NOT order through just eat etc, call them first as they do their own delivery service if not too busy
Food was really good, really nice pint. Lighting was a bit dim and was quite cold in there other than that was decent
Had a curry in the pheasant Thursday 8th Dec, absolutely amazing. Best I have ever had. Bar staff are lovely, place is homely and welcoming.
Really like this pub, the staff are so friendly one lady who always goes above and beyond don't know her name but she's lovely, nice cosy pub with plenty of TVs with the sport.
Great pint of guiness, friendly staff. Will be back to try the food
