Quick Facts About TLC Nails & Spa

TLC Nails & Spa, as evident from the comments, has both strengths and weaknesses. Let's analyze them in detail.
One of the major strengths of TLC Nails & Spa is their skilled nail technician, Rainelle (Qua). Multiple customers praised her for taking her time and being very sweet. She is also known for her skill in creating nail designs. Another nail technician, Tommy, was also commended for being friendly and doing an excellent job on the nails. These positive experiences with the nail technicians showcase the expertise and talent available at the salon.
Additionally, customers appreciate the overall ambiance of the salon. The open, airy shop received positive comments, making it a pleasant place to have nail services done. The receptionist was mentioned as helpful and accommodating, providing good customer service by answering questions and assisting with payments. Customers also expressed satisfaction with the quality of the nail services at TLC Nails & Spa, mentioning that they never had any issues and that it's the only nail place they go to, which indicates a level of trust and loyalty towards the salon.
However, there are also weaknesses that should be addressed. One complaint mentioned the rudeness of a young lady at the desk who, according to the comment, prevented customers from getting their nails done. This behavior reflects poorly on the salon's customer service and should be addressed to maintain a positive reputation.
Another major concern raised by multiple customers is the pricing. Some customers consider the prices to be outrageous, especially since the salon markets itself as a luxury salon. The comment suggests that the nail technicians lack professionalism, as they are seen on their phones while servicing customers. This behavior compromises the luxury experience promised by the salon and could be improved to align with their branding.
Furthermore, there were complaints about the service at the front desk. Customers mentioned that the staff often lacks knowledge about wait times and the additional costs of certain services. This lack of information can create a frustrating experience for customers who are unsure about their appointment or the total price they will be charged.
In one specific negative experience, a customer had a fill-in done by a nail technician who rushed the process, resulting in a crooked and sloppy outcome. The customer had to correct the lines themselves, which is not the standard expected from a professional salon. The customer also felt overcharged for the service compared to a similar experience elsewhere, which raised concerns about the pricing consistency within the salon.
In conclusion, TLC Nails & Spa has strengths like skilled and friendly nail technicians, an open and airy shop, and overall satisfaction with the quality of the services provided. However, weaknesses such as a rude front desk staff, high prices, a lack of professionalism from some nail technicians, and inconsistent pricing practices are areas that need improvement. Addressing these weaknesses will help TLC Nails & Spa enhance their customer experience and strengthen their reputation in the industry.

Rainelle(Qua) is one of the best nail techs there. She takes her time she is very sweet. And if you want an design she will do her best to do whatever it is. She got my nails growing. Beware of the young lady who sits at the desk she is very rude and she does it bc she know she can get away with it. She will even stop you from getting your nails done.
Love this place got my nails done two weeks ago an they looked great an still do I can’t remember the girl name that done them but she was a pregnant lady an did a amazing job I’ll use her again
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great salon for the work, but the prices are outrageous. I feel like for them to be marketed as a “luxury” salon, their nail techs need to have more professionalism. You shouldn’t be serving $5 wine, and nail techs shouldn’t be on their phones while you’re being serviced, point blank period. I get it that things happen, but that’s just my opinion. Wish them the best for business, but I won’t be back after this egregious price increase.
My technian was Tommy. He was very friendly and he did an awesome job on my nails. I loved the open airy shop and it was easy to pay. Also the receptionist was super helpful and answered all my questions about other services.
They do a excellent job on nails...never had an issue if I did they are always willing to fix it... only nail place I go to
I'm not crazy about the service from the front desk. A lot of times they don't know how long the wait is unless no one is waiting. The pedicures are expensive! They say a basic is $35 but if you want anything else like a hot towel, gel polish, etc, each item is $10-20 more.
I've been going to TLC Nail Spa for years I always go with the clean simple classie look and never leave disappointed. I would definitely recommend this place.
Came in for a fill_in and she started she barely removed the old nail and just rushed to pack some acrylic (which stung) and then gets mad when I tell her it was crooked, then when we finally find a color she does it all sloppy and I had to help her do the lines correctly ???? overall a bad experience! Then she said sorry I don’t do these kinds of nails … like huh. And I was changed $70!!! I had on something similar w “dimonds” on it and I paid 60 somewhere else so I definitely feel played ????‍????
