(SAD NEWS) My daughter and I have been a customer of this business since they first opened. We were so excited ???? to have a hair store closer, which seems to carry everything we needed from hair care products to unlimited wigs and more, however, recently during our last 3 visits, it has turned into a nightmare, which, reminds me of the movie, "Boyz in the Hood". Each time we walk thru the door ???? - we are followed ????????♀️????????♀️ by either the owner or an employee like we are thieves. I do not feel free to walk and browse as I once did. My daughter and I have been very loyal customers spending, ???????????????? thousands of dollars here. I am currently seeking a new hair store to shop at. I never spend my hard earned money in places that treat me like this. "Sorry Not Sorry." I'm DONE. ????
This store has over priced old hair. Cheaper lower quality hair that can be used for quick weaves and prontos is marked up as much at 40% compared to other stores. Seriously I’m better off ordering bundles from a hair company, at least I’ll get my money’s worth.
Literally just left the store, I’m a natural hair girly with my own natural hair care brand so I usually don’t go to hair stores but my experience here was beyond disgusting. I went into the store with my friend to get a charger since I left mine at home and I live on the other side of town, I decided to take a look around the store since it was my first time visiting. I don’t usually wear wigs or weave aside from my occasional box braids so when I saw a section full of wigs I got super excited and started trying on a few. One of the workers approached my friend and I and stated that I wasn’t able to try on the wigs unless I came to the front and covered my hair first, which is fine but I declined because I knew that I wasn’t going to buy a wig so it just seemed pointless to go through the hassle of covering my hair, etc. I apologized for trying on the wigs because I wasn’t aware I wasn’t allowed to do that and then my friend and I proceeded to explore the store, but the worker followed us and watched our every move no matter where we went. It was very uncomfortable. I ultimately told my friend, let’s just get the charger and leave because it’s obvious that we’re being racially discriminated against which was very hurtful considering that we’re black and so was the worker. Needless to say it was a very bad hair store experience for me. Again, I own a natural hair care brand. I am not short on money in any way, as a community we need to do better with not being hateful towards people who look like us. I would have been more comfortable shopping at a Chinese hair store than one ran by my own people, that’s sad.
When you go in these Asian Ran facilities there ain’t no telling what price or quality of product their going to give you. One item can be priced 49.99 then the same exact item 79.99. I swear to God I hope they put these folks out of business because all of the dollars from culture are going to them & now you see they have the “ people from the Ivory Coast working in these establishments!” All I can say is Help us Lord!!!!
The staff is rude especially the 2 male cashiers. They do not have good customer service and they will follow you through the entire store. The woman at the wig station acts as if you can't afford to buy a 0.50 cent wig cap. I definitely will spend my money else were. The newer staff needs training on how to treat the customers.
I drive a great distance to visit this store, at least twice a month, for the past 2 years,..and "everytime" that I visit,.. Sarah is consistently pleasant/friendly, helpful, knowledgeable of all products, and goes above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with my purchases. I will gladly continue driving from afar and passing numerous other beauty supply options,..to receive Great Service; Thank You Sarah ????.
It is a very big beauty supply store so you have to ask a representative to find things and it has everything you need there so I didn't have a problem and I was able to ride my scooter around the store you know some stores you can't ride your scooter around because the owls are too close but they Alice was white enough I asked for a certain backpack black bag and it wasn't on the shelf but they did have it in the box and they were so nice to open the box and also gave me 10% off because they had to find it in a box which wasn't long but like I said this is a big beauty salon department and they have everything you need just ask a representative
Don’t shop here stop spend ur money at these Chinese hair store . They don’t give a dam about You . Or your kids
The old Chinese guy push the lady because her kids knock over something. They were in store argue and he still was in her face like he about to fight her when I walk out the door. SMH.
