Bringing my daughter here was very pleasant. But my experience not so much. I’m very familiar with getting dip for my nails and shopping for salons to go to continuously. This is a shop I will not attend repeatedly. Very friendly, yes, but the application of my service was much below par. No base coat, only 2 layers of the dip color, and the top coat was a gel and required a UV light. So no activator/sealer was used so my nails are able to be seen through and it is a patchy top coat. The gentleman also filed my nails (almost) to the shape I asked for after the dip was applied so the sides of the nails, you can see the layers. I asked the man to fix a couple nails and the patches but the longer I look at them, the more blemishes I noticed. I left feeling unsatisfied. Daughter (7y/o) loved her experience and her nails are gorgeous.

The shop floors wasn’t clean, one worker didn’t have on a mask, the same worker later on was sitting in chair near me, was eating snack. I had to use the towel to wipe excess oil off my leg and foot. After the service was performed, I noticed at home I still had a hang nail and around nail area was sore.. The older lady performed the service and it wasn’t good. I would not go back there even if the service was free.
Nails turned out not good at all and the polish on my toes was a mess. Am going to have to get them redone. Update...the cut on my finger from them removing my previous set has resulted in me having to have the nails removed in order to treat it
Came in, got greeted that was good. I got an older last who did my nails, she didn't do a good job at all. Drimmeled and filed my skin on every finger, cut my index finger pretty good. She left a huge chip in my nail, the owner Vanna had to fix and reshape every nail. Vanna did a great job, but for all the mess up from the older lady I will not be going back. Fills are listed for $15, but I ended up passing $35. Too many hidden fees for a place that isn't very clean or professional
Flys and Fruit flies everywhere. Literally! Even in bathroom. Not clean, the station I sat at looked like it’s been a while since it’s been cleaned. The fan was layered in dust. Masks are not mandated here.
The guy doing my nails who eventually find out it’s vana’s brother didn’t even say a word to me or gave eye contact while working on me. I mentioned to him when he was done that my nails had bumps and were crooked, his answer was because I have “natural nail” they look like that. Umm??? What?? Even after fixing them they were crooked, I became frustrated and just asked him to remove the gel- he spoke again and said I will still pay same price even if he takes it off. Finally a girl came to look at my nails and said he will fix but at this point I was too frustrated and running late- VANA finally came over. Looked at my nails and didn’t say a word to me she only fixed them. I did say thank you and she simply ignored me I know she heard because I said it twice. Then she charged me through her VENMO account. I honestly don’t now how that works in a business but I paid and will NEVER return. Theirs a few places near by that are way more clean than this place but I learned my lesson and I’ll just stay at my usual VIP nail salon & spa they’re more pricey and friendly. They always come out great!!
Word of advice to the owner and brother: be nice, be polite. We are your customers and you depend on US to keep your business afloat especially during these times.
I used to come to Vana’s when I worked down the road and I still make it a point to come up for my eyebrows. I treated myself to a full set today and of course they were great and never disappoint! I always leave refreshed and grateful for the team here.
