I have been going to this nail salon for almost 5 years now . The owner Ginger is absolutely amazing . She's extremely helpful , and greets everyone politely. The prices are reasonable, and you are only charged extra, if you require extra services i.e designs. My go to person is Sylvia because she's an amazing artist . She's very warm and kind hearted. Sylvia's work is impeccable at all times. I am very satisfied with the service that I experienced at this shop. All of the manicurists in the shop are equally talented, and hard working. I will continue to visit the V.I.P. Nail salon .

My nails were done by Maria. They looked great but took forever to dry. It's hours later and they're getting imprints and scratches, which I despise!! It's so disappointing. I sat for 5 crying cycles and even added oil to help with the drying. Complete fail. I usually get gel specifically for that reason but they charge an extra $20 to use the gel polish in addition to the price of the $22 fill-in, along with $5 to remove the gel that was already on my nails, and $3 for a cut down. For a fill-in that is way too much, when other nail salons charge a gel set fill-in price a couple of dollars (not $20) more than a regular fill-in. So I paid $30 and tipped $5 just for my nails to deteriorate hours later. This sucks because Maria did such a good job. The color is lovely and I wanted it to last longer than a week. I guess I'll just get my usual gel set elsewhere in the same color next time.

VIP was recommended by my neighbor since Dashing Diva by my job on Montague St closed due to Covid. Beautiful work by Maria. The owner is so very pleasant. So glad they go by appts only! So glad to have a clean spot in my Crown Heights hood. I'll be back ????????????

Love how my nails turned out. Elena took her time cleaning my nails and the owner was very accommodating with finding the right color that I was looking for. Will definitely come back.

When Ginger is there prices Remain the same .. the girl that they have is unprofessional and nasty .. she told me maybe I should go some where else the nerve after I am explaining to her that she has change my price a couple of times ... first was 52 and than 48 plus tip ... same work on nails I do every time I go. Not friendly at all .. the workers are very nice - for the ones that are still there .. most of them left due to being paid to little to keep stable. The nails are done good by the workers not the owner host!!!!
