Ein typischer Trauerfall, was Shopping Center in Braunschweig angeht. Kaum noch Geschäfte vorhanden. Vieles verschlossen oder mit Folien zugeklebt. Die Uhrprojektionen und "Wasserfälle", die es im Gebäude mal gab, sind ebenfalls verschwunden.

Im Moment wird das Gebäude komplett saniert und alle Geschäfte sind geschlossen.

In die Jahre gekommenes Gebäude. Hat mich nie wirklich gereizt dort einzukaufen. Es ist halt lange vor den Malls gebaut worden.

Traurige Entwicklung.... ???? Das war mal eine beliebte Einkaufspassage. Hoffen wir, dass - trotz Internetshops und anderer Ereignisse - bald wieder bessere Zeiten kommen....

Vom Welfenhof ist leider nicht mehr wirklich was übrig. Das Gebäude muss vor Jahren mal wunderschön gewesen sein, steht aber seit ich mich erinnern kann überwiegend leer und verfällt seit dem langsam, aber sicher. Eigentlich schade, der Welfenhof ist wohl auch teilweise unverschuldet dem Wandel der Zeit zum Opfer gefallen. Schwer zu sagen, was damit in Zukunft geschehen soll. Zum Abreißen ist das Gebäude fast noch zu schade, aber es dürfte auch schwer werden, den Welfenhof wiederzubeleben. Eine leere, zunehmend verfallende Hülle ist aber auch nicht unbedingt schön.

Das war früher mal eine sehr belebte Passage, wo man sich sehr gerne aufgehalten hat. Es war immer eine Option bei Mövenpick ein leckeres Eis zu schleckern oder in den Geschäften der Passage zu stöbern, die Schaufenster des Antiquitätenladens zu betrachten oder bei sehr gutem Italiener zu speisen. Und als es noch die Sauna im Obergeschoss gab - das waren noch Zeiten. Jetzt wirkt der Ort sehr verlassen, Geschäfte sind geschlossen und das Gebäude dient hauptsächlich als Durchgang. Vermutlich stehen nicht nur die Läden leer sondern auch die über der Passage befindlichen Wohnungen und Büros - dieses is der Anzeige des Immobilienmaklers zu entnehmen. Schade eigentlich aber wenn es regnet, kann man reingehen.

Etwas verlassen. Viel Platz für Läden. Nicht gerade neu, aber nett. Sonst nutze ich die Passage aus Durchgang zur Innenstadt bei Regen

Bis auf einen guten McDonalds ist hier fast nichts mehr los. Sehr düstere Tiefgarage, mit kleinen Parkplätzen. Als Startpunkt für einen Besuch der Innenstadt aus Richtung Norden gut geeignet.

Traurig mit anzusehen, aber der Leerstand hat nicht nur mit der Corona Situation zu tun. Ich denke die Zeit der Einkaufspassagen ist vorbei.
