Quick Facts About 1st & 10 Barber Shop
1st & 10 Barber Shop has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the barbers are skilled and available, which is a positive attribute for a barbershop. Additionally, the location of the shop is described as nicely located, although finding parking can be difficult at times. The fact that the shop is open on Sundays is another strength, as it allows for more flexibility in appointment scheduling.
Another positive aspect of the shop is that some customers have had good experiences, mentioning that they have been going there for years and are satisfied with the haircuts they received. This indicates that the barbers do have talent and can provide quality cuts.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. One recurring complaint is the lack of professionalism exhibited by some of the barbers. Multiple customers mentioned barbers being late, not showing up for appointments, or rushing through haircuts. This indicates a lack of respect for customers' time and a disregard for providing quality service.
Another weakness mentioned is the uncleanliness or unhygienic practices of some of the barbers. One customer complained about a barber having bad breath, which can be off-putting for customers. Another customer mentioned that barbers eat while cutting hair, which is unprofessional and potentially unhygienic.
Furthermore, there is a lack of customer service mentioned by some customers. One individual mentioned that they waited for 45 minutes without any acknowledgment or welcome from the barbers. Another mentioned that when they called to inquire about services, they were given inaccurate information about wait times and were not treated fairly when they arrived at the shop.
In another comment, a customer mentioned receiving incorrect change when paying for a service. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a potential issue with the shop's handling of customer payments.
Finally, some customers have had negative experiences with specific barbers. One customer mentioned receiving a rushed haircut that resulted in cuts on their son's neck. Another mentioned being stood up after scheduling an appointment, wasting their time and gas.
In conclusion, while 1st & 10 Barber Shop has some strengths such as skilled barbers and a good location, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. These weaknesses include unprofessionalism, lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and negative experiences with specific barbers. To improve, the shop should focus on better communication, professionalism, and providing consistent quality service to all customers.

I've only tried this place 3 times and 2 different barbers. I don't remember names but the first one cut all the way in the back on the right side and his breathe was gross so I didn't want him again. I waited a few months before returning and got the guy who is the first on the right he short with braids. He did a good job charged $40 which was a lot considering I just wanted facial hair gone and a lining. I got his number though, to make future appointments and the next time I called we set and agreed on a time and he never showed up. I won't go back because he obviously thinks only his time is important
Went into shop after called to get haircut for my son. There were a lot of men huddled around doing absolutely nothing at all. I had to ask for a barber after waiting with my son for 45 minutes and no one responded to us or even welcomed us. One of the barbers asked another barber when he would be free to cut my son hair. Now I knew that my son was going to get a nice cut because the whole entire time I was there, the man was in the seat and he took his time. When my son got in his chair he rushed through the hair of all about 10 minutes. My son had two large cuts in the back of his neck from the clippers. I will never go back to that ghetto shop
Nicely located although finding a parking spot can be difficult at times. From what I can see, the barbers are skilled and available...Shout out for MY barber James...He plays no games. As a lady, I'm well pleased and impressed with every visit.
As a walk in appt. My experience was good both times I've been there. I'd definitely recommend. I am a female, and I felt comfortable! I spoke to everyone and they all returned a welcomed greeting. Go here
So I recently moved in the area and needed a new shop, saw all the great reviews and figured this will be my new destinations for fades. I call the shop and the barber that answers the phone tells me that I can get a lining for $10 I then ask him should I make a reservation and he says no it's first come first serve. I head directly to the shop and see three chairs filled and nobody else next in line so I figured I would be next, somebody else walk in while I was waiting and the barber who happens to be the same one who answers the phone when I called says he got them next ????...I bring it to his attention and he simply says oh yea and says he can line me up, he gave a pretty good lining but I'm upset when I gave him a twenty dollar bill for my $10 lining he gives me $5 in change....so either he automatically assumed that his tip should be $5 dollars or he just a sheisty dude but either way let's me know this is a business that is terrible.... long story short don't go here!!!!!
Good cuts have been going there for years would be 5 stars but some times the barbers rush the hair cut or eat while cutting you’re hair
