Quick Facts About 1st Nails Jonesville
1st Nails Jonesville Place, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses. To provide a comprehensive analysis, let's examine each aspect:
Strengths:
1. Talented nail technicians: Several customers mentioned the great work done by specific nail technicians, such as Miss Jessie and Lang. These technicians are praised for their skills and ability to provide a good manicure or pedicure.
2. Friendly and accommodating staff: Many customers noted that the staff members at 1st Nails Jonesville Place were nice, friendly, and welcoming. The positive and friendly attitude from the staff contributed to a pleasant experience for these customers.
3. Repeat customers and recommendations: A loyal customer of 1st Nails Jonesville Place mentioned that they have been going there for more than 6 years and always recommend the salon to others. This indicates that there is a level of trust and satisfaction among a portion of the customer base.
4. Availability for walk-ins: One customer mentioned that they were able to walk in and immediately be greeted and seated. The fact that they were able to accommodate walk-in customers suggests that the salon has decent availability and can cater to last-minute appointments.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent quality: Some customers have experienced inconsistency in the quality of the services provided. One customer mentioned that their first experience was great, but subsequent visits were disappointing. Inconsistency in service quality can be a drawback for customers looking for reliable and consistent results.
2. Poor customer service: One customer expressed their disappointment with the customer service at 1st Nails Jonesville Place. They described an incident where the nail technician was rude and dismissive when they requested their nails to be fixed. Rude behavior and poor customer service can negatively impact the overall experience and discourage customers from returning.
3. Pricing concerns: A couple of customers mentioned that the salon is overpriced compared to other nail salons. One customer specifically mentioned that they paid $120 for a basic pedicure and acrylic nails, which they consider to be an excessive amount. High prices compared to the perceived quality of service can deter potential customers from choosing this salon.
4. Inadequate service execution: Multiple customers pointed out specific issues with the execution of their requested nail services. Concerns include crooked nails, uneven application of dip powder, improper shaping of nails, visible lines where the nail extension is attached, gaps in nail polish, and bumpy acrylic nails. These flaws in service execution indicate a lack of attention to detail and could result in customer dissatisfaction.
In summary, 1st Nails Jonesville Place has some strengths, such as talented technicians and friendly staff. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including inconsistent service quality, poor customer service, high prices, and inadequate service execution. Improvement in these areas can enhance the overall customer experience and build a stronger reputation for the salon.

Eh pass. This is my 3rd time coming. First experience was great. Second time I booked for me and my mom and arrived to see them closing up the shop an hour early because there were no customers? Mind you we made a reservation. Last time was yesterday I was seated and woman began my nails and put two nails on very crooked and I asked her to please redo and she tried to convince me that no it was fine till I insisted. Redid it still crooked and I asked again to please fix and she said “I don’t know what you want I will call another woman over to deal with you “ wow. The second woman did an okay job you can see in picture pinky is still crooked but wow the customer service is unbelievably rude.
Miss Jessie always does an amazing job on my manicures & pedicures. She is so kind and accommodating. I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 6 years and always recommend her salon whenever someone asks me where I get my beautiful nails done. Her sister, Miss Amy, takes care of both my daughters’ nails and they refuse to go anywhere else!
First Nails Salon is the best!
Walked in for a basic mani/pedi (no polish or gel) to let my nails recover from a horrible job done previously elsewhere. (I wont even review that place they were so bad) To be a walk in, they immediately greeted me and sat me down. Ladies were nice and friendly, smiling and busy with other regular customers that also seemed happy to be there as regulars. May be a tad pricey for what little I had done but not over the top expensive. Everywhere is expensive and most would not have wanted a customer for basic services. Left happy and will return again.
Two friends suggested this little spot in Jonesville. Got the toenail trim and gel polish; very happy with the results! Lang did a terrific job.
Miss Susan did my elderly mother's pedicure. My mother had ingrown toenails on both feet and Susan was extra gentle, that means a lot to me thank you Susan you are awesome!!
Wish I could rate no stars. Went into 1st nails today to get a dip powder mani done on my natural nails. This is what I left with! ???? My nails look terrible. By far the worst job anyone has EVER done on my nails. My nails are different length, my nails shape is ruined (which they didn’t even asked what shape I like, they just rounded them and I do NOT like them rounded), my cuticles and the sides of my nails look worse than when I walked in. The dip powder itself has a TON of bubbles and isn’t smooth at all. On top of that, the clear gel top coat they put on, didn’t even adhere in a solid manner. The top coat looks like Swiss cheese! I asked for marble on my ring finger, I’m not sure what I got, but it wasn’t marble. Plus I didn’t ask for glitter, but I got two random globs of it on each ‘marbled’ nail. On top of everything else, I paid $45 for this, and that did NOT INCLUDE A MANI! So $45 for just some terribly dipped nails? What a joke! I’m sure some are wondering why I even paid for nails that look like this, 1) They finished and I paid. I didn’t even have time to really look at my nails, and I didn’t notice how horrific they were until I walked out into the sun to get in my car. 2) I had my toddler with me. She was over having to sit still and behave, so I wasn’t going to go back in an make them redo them.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about this place. But my nails look the worst. Visit at your own risk. ????
Extremely over priced. Paid 100 for basic pedicure and acrylic nails. Plus 20 tip. $120 total. I have never paid that much before at a nail salon. They ripped me off. The prices don't add up.
I got a pedicure and the main reason I wanted one was to scrub the calluses off my feet and she barely did that. So the pedicure was pointless. I didn't really care about my toes nails painted. She also pulled the cuticles off the sides of my toe nails and it hurt they were bleeding.
My nails turned out okay. There's a few things that I didn't like about my nails. I asked her to do pink at the top and she did the pink at the bottom. She had already started so I just let her do it. It turned out okay. They are pink and see thru it looked worse at first the top being see thru because u could see were she attached the nail extension. I asked her to add pink a little further up and I think she charged me for a second coat. I dont like how the top of my ombre is clear. That part doesn't look good. I thought for ombre there was supposed to be a base coat of pinkish white so u couldnt see thru the nails. I dont like how there's a gap at the bottom of my nails were there is no nail polish. It looks like my nails have grown out some and they were just done today. The acrylic is bumpy not even.
Over all nails look okay, some flaws. My pedicure was pointless and everything was super over priced.
This place is extremely overpriced, I got a French set of acrylics and was charged $80. I have never paid that much for nails and they definitely aren't the best either.
