Andy's Nails Place has received both positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the business, it is important to analyze the comments provided.
Strengths:
1. Clean and inviting atmosphere: Multiple customers stated that the building was clean and visually appealing. This creates a positive impression for customers and contributes to a pleasant overall experience.
2. Excellent service: Several customers praised the efficiency and skill of the nail technicians at Andy's Nails Place. They reported receiving high-quality manicures and pedicures without experiencing any discomfort. Efficient service is a strength as it enhances customer satisfaction and ensures a positive experience.
3. Kid-friendly environment: One customer mentioned the presence of princess pedicure chairs for children, indicating that the salon caters to the needs of families. This can be seen as a strength, as it helps create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers with children.
4. Good value for money: Customers mentioned that the prices at Andy's Nails Place were fair and decent. This can be considered a strength as it attracts price-conscious customers who are looking for quality services at reasonable rates.
5. Modernization: A customer mentioned that the new owners have modernized the salon, giving it a fresh and updated look. This can be seen as a strength as it demonstrates that the business is adapting to changing trends and customer preferences.
Weaknesses:
1. Appointment scheduling: One customer expressed disappointment with the salon's handling of appointments. They claimed that despite scheduling five appointments at noon, they waited for an extended period and their appointments were delayed. Additionally, walk-in customers were served ahead of them. This indicates a weakness in the salon's ability to manage appointments and prioritize scheduled customers.
2. Inconsistency in service quality: While some customers praised the service quality, others mentioned issues with their experience. One customer was dissatisfied with the lack of thoroughness in their pedicure, stating that their feet were left rough and dry. Another customer commented on the lack of efficiency in the removal process for shellac or dip nails. This suggests a weakness in maintaining consistent service quality across all customers.
3. Delayed appointments: Another customer mentioned experiencing a significant delay past their appointment time before being served. This indicates a weakness in the salon's ability to manage their schedule and prioritize customers in a timely manner.
4. Pricing: One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the price of services, stating that they found a salon in Denver that provided more satisfactory services at a lower price. This suggests a weakness in the salon's pricing strategy, as they may be charging higher rates compared to similar establishments in the area.
5. Lack of communication and organization: One customer mentioned that there seemed to be a lack of communication or organization among the staff members. They were not informed about the time it would take to complete their services and observed the staff prioritizing other tasks over serving customers. This highlights a weakness in the salon's communication and organization skills, which can lead to customer frustration and negative experiences.
In conclusion, Andy's Nails Place has several strengths including a clean environment, excellent service, and a value-for-money proposition. However, weaknesses such as appointment scheduling issues, inconsistency in service quality, and pricing concerns need to be addressed in order to provide a consistent and satisfactory experience to all customers.

When I first arrived, the building was so clean and pretty and I was offered something to drink. They even have little princess pedicure chairs for kids! I unfortunately did not get her name, but a lovely lady did my nails very quickly and efficiently! I think they turned out amazing, and she didn't hurt me or grind my fingers up which usually happens to me when I get my nails done. Excellent service and paid a fair $70 for the set.
I’ve gotten two manicures and one pedicure here, and each time it was truly a high quality experience. No other place does acrylics as well as Andy’s. I’m no hand model, so the photos aren’t incredible, but I honestly recommend this salon to anyone who needs a manicure or pedicure done. The prices are pretty decent, too, which is always great.
We called and scheduled 5 appointments at noon. 2 adult pedi, 2 kid pedi, and 1 full set and asked if they would be able to do all at once, They claimed the could and would be no problem. We arrived at 11:55am for our 12pm appointments. We waited until 1255 for them to get the one set 2nd adult pedi and both kids pedis started. They took 3 walk-ins in place of our scheduled appointments. Which is why we made scheduled appointments so we could avoid such a situation. Super disappointed ????
I've been going to Andy's for years and have always considered them the best. The new owners have really modernized the place. It's beautiful on the inside and the works is just as good, if not better.
I had an appointment but waited 25min past my appointment time before I was taken back. After being taken back I was not rude to the staff and I just sat back to watch and see how my experience turned out and this is what I experienced.
Pedicure:
I got the basic $30.00 pedicure with a $5.00 add on.
The lotion foot and leg massage for my pedicure was done while my legs and feet were still wet and then the remaining lotion was rinsed off (defeats the purpose of the lotion massage). No lotion or oil was rubbed into my feet and which left my feet rough and dry. My legs never were dried off and the toe nail polish job was ok, the polish on my big toes was put on too thick and was not smooth.
The gentleman doing my pedicure started cleaning the salon up from other customers rather than finishing my pedicure and didn’t do the cleaning up of the station I was using (dirty wet towel left underneath my feet, foot bowl water was not drained once I was done, seats from other customers were not disinfected in between use).
Nails:
I got Dip polish, no manicure, with a design on two fingers (one on each hand).
Typically when a customer has shellac or dip nail polish that needs to be removed; the soak off removal process will begin while in the massage chair during their pedicure to be efficient with time. Incredibly time consuming. A better assembly line of services should be worked out that way walk in customers can be serviced in a timely manner and those with appointments can be seen within 5min of their appointment time.
Spent $85.00 plus $15.00 tip.
(I’m from Denver, CO and I spend $10.00 less for more satisfactory services at a nail salon) $50.00 to get my nails done with no manicure is high priced.
I just found this salon by Google. It was very nice. Great colors of dip or gel to pick from.
Close did my dip nails that look & feel amazing. Another lady did my pedicure and it felt so good. I travel all over so never the same salon. I would highly recommend this place.
I went here with my mother and sister in law. We called on short notice and they were able to get us in within a half hour! We all got the royal pedicure and it was amazing!! Best pedicures we've ever had, hands down. This is our spot now :).
Made an appointment for 3 pm. Arrive there's 2 people ahead of me. Not a problem. Another person comes in same appointment time. 3 people working 6 people with appoinm8for 3 pm. At 315 I walked out. Will not be back.
