Quick Facts About Bayshire Beauty Academy

Bayshire Beauty Academy has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one commenter mentioned that the girls at the academy are great and know what they are doing. They had a positive experience with a pedicure and a haircut, highlighting the proficiency of the students. Additionally, the prices at Bayshire Beauty Academy are considered unbeatable. This is an advantage for customers looking for affordable beauty services.
Another strength mentioned is the presence of a helpful instructor named Ms. Rashay. According to a customer, Ms. Rashay always assists the students when problems occur. This shows that the academy has competent instructors who can provide guidance and support to the students when needed. Having dedicated and knowledgeable instructors is crucial in a beauty academy to ensure that students receive proper training and guidance.
Furthermore, a previous graduate from the academy mentioned that they had an excellent experience during their time at Bayshire Beauty Academy. They praised their teacher, Heather Ivey, and stated that they were able to find employment after graduating. This indicates that the academy provides effective education and prepares students for successful careers in the beauty industry.
However, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One recurring complaint is the lack of professionalism among some students. One customer reported that the students were goofing off and not focusing on their work during their visit. Another customer mentioned that a student had a bad attitude because they had to work, which resulted in a poor haircut.
Additionally, inconsistency in service quality is highlighted by multiple commenters. One customer mentioned that their hair turned out fine, but their daughter's hair did not. Despite the instructor approving the student's work, the results were not satisfactory. Another customer complained that the students did not deliver the desired hair color and instead gave them highlights. This inconsistency and lack of attention to customer requests can be a significant drawback for Bayshire Beauty Academy.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of intervention from instructors in certain situations. One customer felt that it was unfair that they were charged more than another customer for a similar service and expected the instructor to step in and address the issue. This suggests that the academy may not provide consistent oversight and equal treatment to all customers.
Lastly, there was a complaint regarding one of the receptionists, Lisa, who was described as rude and unprofessional. The commenter stated that Lisa enforced mask-wearing, even for a fully vaccinated individual, while not wearing a mask herself. This inconsistency in enforcing safety protocols and rude behavior can create a negative impression of the academy's customer service.
In conclusion, Bayshire Beauty Academy has strengths such as competent students, affordable prices, and dedicated instructors like Ms. Rashay. However, there are several weaknesses highlighted in the comments, including unprofessionalism among some students, inconsistency in service quality, lack of intervention from instructors, and negative experiences with a receptionist. These weaknesses should be addressed by the academy to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation.

Took a leap of faith and tried this option out since we were left without a hairdresser who didn’t return from maternity leave. Myself and my two young daughters went in for a trim, nothing too hard. My hair and one of my daughters hair turned out fine but my other daughters a hair, not so much. What’s troubling is that the instructor checked the students work and approved of it. The place looked run down and dirty.
The girls there are great. They know what they are doing and do it well. I had a pedicure and a haircut. You can't beat their prices anywhere.
Went there two other times, girls did a good job maybe left it a little long but that was fine. Went last week ,the place was a playground girls just goofing off, cutting and dying each other’s hair, that’s cool, but after I left the place and got home was surprised on how bad it was ,she just took the razor and buzz cut all of my hair off,she had a attitude because she had to work, these girls don’t want to cut hair they just want to play barbie with each other. Wouldn’t advise going there.
We asked them to dye her hair honey blonde and to layer the top of her hair, we even showed them a picture of the hair color we wanted, which they didn't do, they cut the back and sides and highlighted her hair with blonde highlights instead, instead of dying all of her hair honey blonde wasn't happy about that paid 78$ I felt was wasted money
They let a student do my hair and the instructor did even offer help. There was another lady there our hair was about the same length and I had to pay $19 and she only had to pay $12 I didn't understand that, I thought it was very unfair.this was a great teachable moment for the instructor to step in and show the student what to do .They had a instructor , Ms. Rashay that was always helping the students when problems occurred, schools need more instructors like her .
I graduated from here years ago as a massage therapist. Heather Ivey was my teacher. It took me about 9 months to graduate, which I got hired both by a spa and a physical therapy facility within months after graduating. Heather was a great teacher! I don't know how it's structured now, but in 2010 when I graduated, the school was exactly what I needed. The owner, Jim, was always super nice, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He really is a Jack of all trades! I learned a lot from here and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!
I have been getting spiral perms for 6 years. I never had a problem until I got one a week ago. The 2 girls Gabby & Autumn did a terrible job. I told them my right side is harder to perm. They kept the perm on for 10 min even after they looked at all my cards from previous visits. All the other ones kept the perm on for 20 min. I also asked for a trim. I didn't get it. All they kept saying is we have a lot of walk ins we need to hurry up and get some of the walk ins. My hair looked terrible once dryed. I did call the school and I went in Madi did the trim also got a hot oil treatment ( free of charge). It looks better but still very frizzy. I will not let two bad apples touch me again.
I had an amazing experience with Morgan who did my manicure and pedicure. Along with a friend of mine who had the same services with Jordan. Both girls were absolutely wonderful, extremely professional and did an amazing job. However we were spoken to very rudely by the woman working the front desk. Her name was Lisa. I have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 but was forced to wear a mask the entire time. Even though the state does not require that I wear one. She then proceeded to walk around with another clients baby. Lisa was not wearing her mask several times while we were there! But for some reason we still had to. She continued to check on the job Morgan and Jordan were doing. Both of these girls were absolutely amazing and professional. But Lisa continued to be rude and interrupting our experience. If I could give Lisa a rating it would definitely be a big zero!
