Quick Facts About Chop House Barbershop

Chop House Barbershop has several strengths that make it a popular choice for customers. One significant strength is that they are one of the only true barbershops in the area. This sets them apart from other hair salons that may not specialize in traditional barber techniques. Customers appreciate the expertise and skill of Shawn, one of the barbers, as he consistently provides great haircuts. This reliability and quality of service make Chop House Barbershop a trusted destination for customers looking for a good haircut.
The convenience of booking appointments through the Cut app is another strength of this barbershop. This allows customers to easily schedule their appointments and ensures a smoother experience. Although the schedule can fill up quickly, the ability to book ahead of time gives customers the option to secure their preferred time slot.
Chop House Barbershop also receives praise for its inclusive attitude towards different hair textures. Many customers appreciate that they do not turn people away based on their hair texture. This is a positive characteristic as it demonstrates a commitment to serving a diverse range of customers and prioritizing their needs.
The shop has recently undergone a change in ownership, with the son of the previous owner taking over. Despite this change, customers have commented positively on the new owner's ability to deliver a similar level of attention to detail and provide excellent haircuts. This transition indicates that the business has maintained its reputation for quality even under new management.
The traditional and quaint atmosphere of the barbershop is another strength. Customers appreciate the personalized attention they receive in this environment. This nostalgic and welcoming ambiance adds to the overall experience and makes customers feel comfortable during their visit.
However, there are a few weaknesses that have been identified by some customers. One complaint is the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the new owner. A customer claims to have been treated poorly and accused of lying when there was a misunderstanding regarding their appointment. This negative experience could be a cause for concern for potential customers who prioritize professionalism and good customer service.
Additionally, some customers have raised concerns about the scheduling process. They mention that appointments can run over the allotted time because the haircuts tend to be slow. While this precision is seen as a positive aspect by some, others may find it inconvenient to wait for an extended period for their haircut. This issue may be improved by better time management and communicating more accurately with customers about the duration of their appointments.
Another weakness that has been mentioned is the quiet nature of the new owner. Some customers prefer more talkative barbers who engage in conversation during the haircut. This personal preference can impact the overall experience for customers who value conversational interaction during their visit.
In conclusion, Chop House Barbershop has several strengths that contribute to its popularity, such as the expertise of the barbers, the convenience of appointment bookings, and the inclusive attitude towards different hair textures. The traditional atmosphere and personalized attention are also positive aspects of the barbershop. However, weaknesses such as issues with professionalism, slow haircuts, and lack of conversational interaction have been identified by some customers. These weaknesses should be addressed to ensure continued customer satisfaction and attract new clientele.

As one of the only true Barbers in the area, Shawn gives a great cut! After several months of going there now, the cut is consistent and far better than the other places I’ve gone in the past. Make sure you call ahead as the schedule can fill up!
Completely unprofessional. When his dad ran the place it was a lot smoother and friendlier atmosphere. I came to get my haircut on my birthday waited and hour and then let a little kid and his grandma go ahead of me while I stepped outside. When I came back in they were just getting done and he told me I lied about being there even though I had been signed in for over an hour. Seems confused and generally out of it all of the time. I live a mile away and get my hair cut every two weeks it’s a shame, but I’m never going back there again. He needs to contact his dad to learn how to be professional and courteous.
Edit: In response to the owners comment. I have no reason to lie or make this up obviously, this could of been a simple miscommunication like I initially said to you when I was there but you didn’t want to hear any of it, insisting I’m a liar. Good luck with that attitude.
Amazing barbershop and amazing experience! At times they are busy but you have the convience of booking the appointments through the cut app. They take the time to make sure you leave looking and feeling your best! About time we have a barbers around here who don't turn you away because of your hair texture!
I've come to Olde Loveland Barber shop consistently for the past five months. Rick is a very skilled professional and cuts my hair exactly how I want it every time.
Not to mentioned the straight razor shaves, hot towl, and great conversation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality haircut at a very fair price. 5 stars.
The shop has been taken over by a family member. The new owner is excellent. Different that the previous owner, but every bit as attentive to detail and given a great cut
Sit in the chair and enjoy the fact that this is a chance to have personalized attention from a quaint and traditional barber.
Super real review here, I've been a customer of Rick's for a long time. He has since moved out of town and the barber shop is now owned by his son Kevin, who has slightly modernized what was once a really cluttered, old school place.
To be very clear, I have no qualms with the haircut. Kevin does an excellent job, that much is indisputable.
However, he is not very good with scheduling, mostly because his haircuts are SUPER SLOW. Granted, this does mean your haircut will be very precise, which is a plus.
Another qualm I have is that he's a very quiet person. I like more talkative barbers, so that's just my own personal preference.
If you have the time to spare, and are willing to sit in a barber chair for more than an hour, highly recommend Kevin.
Shawn always does a great job! Laid back, fun environment with great results. Killer fades and beard work! Well worth the drive even if you don’t work/live in Loveland!
Great place to get your haircut. In fact, my wife says I'm not allowed to go to any other place because these guys are so much better than anywhere else I've been. Keep up the good work Giles & Kevin!
