Quick Facts About Crystal Nails
Crystal Nails, as indicated by the comments, has both strengths and weaknesses. In terms of strengths, one customer mentions that the owners are incredible and that they provide excellent services, particularly in acrylic nails and pedicures. The salon is described as modern, comfortable, and clean, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere for customers. Another point of praise is the great job done by the technicians, with one customer expressing satisfaction with the outcome of their nails. Furthermore, the peace and quiet, along with the soft music, create a relaxing environment.
However, Crystal Nails also exhibits certain weaknesses that potential customers should be aware of. One notable issue is their policy regarding gift certificates. According to a comment, Crystal Nails does not honor gift certificates beyond one year, even though federal law mandates a five-year redemption period. This raises concerns about the business's ethics, especially considering their reasoning that they have a new owner every year.
Another concerning aspect is the lack of consistency in service quality. While some customers have had positive experiences, others have reported less satisfactory results. One individual mentions uneven polish application, which suggests a lack of attention to detail or inconsistency in training and standards among technicians. Another customer highlights a drastic mistake made during a dip powder removal, with their natural nail getting ripped off. Even more concerning is the technician's refusal to acknowledge any wrongdoing. Instances like these can be alarming for customers who prioritize safety and expect skilled professionals.
In addition, pricing at Crystal Nails seems to lack transparency and consistency. One customer reports that the prices vary from technician to technician, which can be confusing and frustrating for customers seeking clarity on the cost of their desired services. Clearly communicated and consistent pricing is essential for customer satisfaction and trust.
Another complaint mentioned in a comment is regarding the aggressive cuticle work by a technician during a pedicure. This indicates a lack of attention to customer comfort and could lead to potential discomfort or injury. Customers value gentle and attentive service during nail care, so experiences like these can significantly impact satisfaction.
In conclusion, Crystal Nails has several strengths, such as skilled owners, a wide range of services, and a comfortable salon environment. However, they also face weaknesses including questionable business practices, inconsistent service quality, lack of transparency in pricing, and instances of poor technique or customer care. It is important for potential customers to consider these factors and assess whether Crystal Nails aligns with their personal preferences and priorities.

I’ve been a customer of Crystal Nails for over 5 years now. The owners are incredible! Hy does a wonderful job with acrylic nails. They also have a wide variety of pedicure options to choose from. The salon is modern, comfortable, and clean. I recommend Crystal Nails to anyone in Loveland!
Federal law states that gift certificates must be redeemable for 5 years after purchase but Crystal Nails will only honor them for a year. I have a gift certificate that is 14 months old and when I asked if it would be honored, I was told no and that they are not subject to the federal law because their business “has a new owner every year”. That seems like a sketchy business practice to change owners yearly. I have used them before and my nails were done just fine but but don’t expect ethical business practices.
My nails look so great! They did a great job and were nice to work with! I will definitely be going there again!
I live in Lovelaand and I've been going to Crystal Nails for a long time! They are very good at what they do and they make it a pleasurable experience each time.
Do not go here. I went here to get my Dip Powder nails taken off. She used an acrylic nail to pry the dip powder off. My nail ripped off with the dip powder. After two, it hurt so bad and I told her to SOAK the dip powder off.
1st image: dip ripped off
2nd image: part of nail on dip powder
3rd image: nails after dip soaked with acetone then dremeled (look how long my nails are and how much of my nail was ripped off!) (sorry my nails are dirty I apologize)
The worse part is, she didn’t think she did anything wrong.
We had pedicures and I had a manicure last night at 5:00. Very nice people let us soak our feet for a bit and both ladies did a great job. The best part was the peace and quiet and nice soft music. We will be back.
I’ve gone here a few times and had mixed results. I usually get a gel/shellac manicure. Some of the technicians do a great job and other techs ....do a not so great job (in the pic you can see the uneven polish application) . Also their pricing isn’t always straightforward and seems to vary sometimes from tech to tech.
Late review but June 4th last year I had a pedicure done. Everything was fine and I LOVED my purple color (lasted a year (I don't get my nails done often but this must have been my 4th time ever)) minus the fact that my nails were not even trimmed. My technician was also a little aggressive with the cuticle work. Cest la vie.
