Quick Facts About David's Breakfast And Lunch
David's Breakfast And Lunch place has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, the food is described as good, which is a crucial aspect for any restaurant. Additionally, the prices are low compared to other establishments in the area, making it an affordable option for customers. The service is also highly praised, with friendly staff providing excellent service. The consistency of the good food is highlighted, indicating that customers can expect a high-quality meal each time they visit.
Another strength mentioned is the recommendation of the place by a customer to their coworkers, who also love it. This word-of-mouth recommendation suggests that David's Breakfast And Lunch place has a strong reputation within the community. The mention of it being a "papi" store, comparable to the likes of Walmart, Wawa, and Home Depot, suggests that it offers a wide range of options to cater to various needs.
The comments also mention specific items from the menu that received positive feedback. The Cheesesteak, in particular, is described as a "masterpiece" that is cooked with a toasted roll, grilled flavor, and a good amount of meat. The combination of mushrooms, fried onions, and meat is praised for playing well together. The addition of mayonnaise on the Cheesesteak is unexpected but enjoyed by the customer. Chicken and waffles, as well as the bacon, waffles, and fries, are also highlighted as delicious choices.
Furthermore, the smoothies at David's Breakfast And Lunch place are highly regarded, described as "clutch" by one customer. This suggests that the smoothies are of good quality and add value to the dining experience.
However, there are also weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentioned receiving frozen waffles and a frozen fish patty, which they believed did not justify the price or quality of the food. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the service, stating that their order was consistently wrong and that the new staff were not up to standard.
Additionally, there are negative reviews regarding incorrect orders, missing requests, and even finding a hair in the food. These incidents reflect poorly on the establishment and highlight potential issues with attention to detail and food preparation.
Some customers also mentioned long wait times for their orders, which is considered a weakness, especially if the restaurant is not crowded. The portion sizes are also criticized as being small for the price, such as only receiving two slices of bacon.
Despite these weaknesses, one positive mention is that the restaurant acknowledged an error with an order and rectified it promptly, which was appreciated by the reviewer.
In conclusion, David's Breakfast And Lunch place has strengths including good food, affordable prices, and stellar service. The menu items, such as the Cheesesteak and smoothies, receive positive feedback. However, there are weaknesses related to inconsistent orders, frozen ingredients, long wait times, small portion sizes, and instances of hair being found in the food. These areas of improvement need to be addressed by the restaurant to enhance the overall dining experience for its customers.

The food is good, and the prices are low compared to a LOT of other places in the area. The service is stellar from friendly staff. I recommend this place to my coworkers all the time, and they love it, too. If you are not used to the "Papi" store experience, don't let the appearance fool you. They are a neighborhood convenience store, so think Walmart, Wawa and Home Depot combined into one store the size of a hotel room. The food is consistently good!
A papi store success story. A $5 masterpiece. They put the roll on the grill. The roll gets a little toast and some extra grill flavor, two good things. This Cheesesteak had a good amount of meat. The mushrooms, fried onions and meat spent some time together on the grill so they got to know each other and played well together. Mayonnaise ended up on my cheesesteak, I liked it. I borderline loved it. I can't get myself to order mayonnaise on a Cheesesteak but every time it ends up on my cheesesteak I am happy. Very good overall experience.
I ordered chicken and waffles and I received 4 frozen waffles that were soggy by the time they arrived. The fried fish (an extra $4.50) is also a frozen patty. This is not quality food especially for the price. Don't let that seasoning on the egg fool you...I added that myself. Definitely not worth it.
I've ordered from David's two days in a row after finding it on Uber Eats. I have been very, very happy with both orders. The food is prepared extremely quickly, cheesesteaks, waffles, and fries were great, as was the bacon.
The smoothies are clutch.
i ain’t gone lie the new people working here is so bad. at first they got my order wrong both times with the sandwich and the smoothies. then they just gave somebody meal to somebody else. they old people need to come back cause these people are not it at all. and then they had the audacity to make us wait for the our smoothies they messed up for longer than 25mins.
Found this place on UberEats and ordered prior to seeing reviews. Order the French toast platter with turkey bacon and eggs and also the pancake platter with eggs and turkey sausage. The French toast is phenomenal! Turkey bacon cooked just right and the eggs were seasoned nicely ! The pancakes were cornbread like but very moist and great. Our side of home fries were delicious. Realize that you're ordering from a papi store, so order accordingly, something that can be made quickly and be fresh.
Just no. I ordered takeout and what I received was a) different from what the menu said; b) had no simple requests that I asked for like mayo on the side, plus c) came with a big, long HAIR that was halfway in my mouth and still connected to the sandwich. Most foul.
I can usually deal with food that isn't great if it arrives relatively quickly. However, the food here was not only unimpressive, but it took nearly half an hour to receive, and it was not very crowded at all. Food portions are also pretty small for the price: Two slices of bacon is unheard of most places you go, and they don't give much eggs.
I give them 2 stars because the eggs of one platter we ordered were done wrong, and they let us keep those eggs and gave the correct eggs as well, which I respect.
