Quick Facts About Diamond Hills Sports Club and Spa
Diamond Hills Sports Club and Spa has several strengths that make it a popular choice for its members. The first strength is the quality of the swim coaches. One member comments that the swim coaches are the best they have seen compared to other clubs they have been to. This highlights the expertise and skill of the coaches at Diamond Hills. Additionally, the kids club staff is praised for their patience and friendly demeanor, making it a positive experience for both children and parents.
Another strength of Diamond Hills is its cleanliness. Members appreciate the efforts of the cleaning crew who ensure that the facility, including the showers, stalls, and towels, are always clean and well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness creates a pleasant environment for members to enjoy.
The facilities at Diamond Hills are another strength. The club is described as having a two-story facility with a comfortable lobby and a cafe that serves delicious food. The spa services offered are also highly recommended by family and friends who have used them. There are also multiple outdoor tennis courts, several pools, a sauna, and a steam room available for members to use. These facilities provide a variety of options for members to stay active and relax.
The variety of classes offered at Diamond Hills is another strength. Yoga, Zumba, and other classes are available in specially designated rooms on the second floor. This allows members to participate in different types of exercises and cater to their specific interests and fitness goals.
The social aspect of Diamond Hills is also a strength. Members mention that they have made friends with other members and enjoy seeing people actively using the facilities, rather than just being focused on their phones. This creates a vibrant and engaged community within the club.
However, there are also some weaknesses of Diamond Hills that should be addressed. One member points out that the parking lot is large but not well-lit when it is dark, which can be inconvenient and even unsafe for members. Another weakness is the price. Some members feel that the monthly fee, which is almost $200 for three members, is quite steep. This can be a barrier for potential members looking to join the club.
Another weakness mentioned by members is the lack of longer operating hours. Some workers start turning off lights 10 minutes before closing time, which can be frustrating for members who are still working out. Additionally, the club closes early on Sundays, which is a popular day for members to use their membership. These limitations in operating hours can be an inconvenience for members with busy schedules.
There are also complaints about broken facilities, such as the family spa and the men's sauna. These issues can impact the overall experience for members and should be addressed promptly.
Billing issues and additional fees are also mentioned as a weakness by some members. Unauthorized charges to debit cards and hidden fees can create frustration and dissatisfaction among members. The lack of available classes is also a drawback for members who specifically signed up for certain classes that are frequently canceled or unavailable.
Lastly, a negative interaction with a staff member is mentioned by a member, which resulted in an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. This highlights the importance of ensuring that all staff members are trained to provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
In conclusion, Diamond Hills Sports Club and Spa has several strengths, including excellent swim coaches, cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, a variety of classes, and a strong sense of community. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as pricing, operating hours, broken facilities, billing issues, and inconsistent availability of classes. By addressing these weaknesses, Diamond Hills can further enhance its reputation as a premier sports club and spa.
Best TL Reviews
My two kids just finished swim lesson. Let me tell you we have been over the years to different clubs for swim lessons (4 kids) and the coaches here are by far the best we have seen. Shout out to Coach Jen, Coach Madi and Coach Gina. I am so impressed with the progress they made. My older one will be joining the Aqua Knights swim team at the club and we couldn’t be happier.
We signed up for Diamond Hills for the swim team and classes and we absolutely love the club everyone has been great and they keep the place very clean.
Great location.
Huge parking lot, not that well lit when it’s dark.
Pretty pricey. Almost $200/month for 3 members BUT they do offer A LOT.
Kids club staff is AMAZING, I hope they get paid great for their patience & dealing with kids. They’re always friendly.
Always tons of free activities for the kids to do too.
Cleaning crew does GREAT. Been a member for a few years now I’ve yet to use a dirty stall, shower or come across a pile of dirty towels.
They offer lockers, no cost but has to accessed using your membership card.
Facility is NICE. Two stories.
Comfy lobby.
There’s a Café.Café food is delicious.
There’s a spa. Haven’t used their services personally but I’ve gotten gift cards & my family & friends LOVE the spa’s services.
I’ve taken my kid to get a simple extraction for the acne & I believe the lady’s name was Ana. She was super informative. Even the spa has a cute lil waiting area.
They have tons of outdoor tennis courts.
Workout equipment is great. Restrooms upstairs too.
Plenty of sanitary wipes conveniently located throughout the floor. Water fountains & water bottle refill stations located through out too.
Upstairs they have also have a few rooms for classes like yoga, zumba, & stuff like that.
There’s an indoor basketball court. Could use some attention like a sweep or mop at least twice a week cause it’s dusty making it more slippery. Also if they could open the doors, that lead to the tennis courts, a few times a day to let some fresh air in THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Their several pools are all nice, not deep but still nice & always clean.
Sauna, love it.
Steam room, haven’t used.
There’s blow dryers provided in the restrooms. Q-tips, cotton balls & tissue.
Ice machine right across from the basketball court.
Made plenty of friends with other members & the consensus we have is for longer hours. Some workers are always nice about letting us late workers finish our sets & some workers start turning lights off 10minutes before closing time. Easy fix might be to stay open longer ????????????????
It's ever so on the pricey side but considering everything included and the environment in general, this place is really nice.
You come here and actually see people using the facilities instead of just staring at their phones. You'll see family's outside enjoying the pools and classes almost every day. Compared to In-Shape, this gym just feels more alive.
Family spa was broken for 6 months and the mens sauna is constantly broken, nice gym but not worth the price they charge.
They close at 7pm on sundays! The one day that most everyone has off and want to use their membership!! It’s beyond annoying and they turn the sauna off early!
Just Joined and already VERY disappointed. Signed up on a promo. VERY FIRST BILL AND IT DOESNT REFLECT OUR PROMO! And they charge FEES FOR EVERYTHING!! Unauthorized charges to my debit card for fees fees fees and more fees! It’s just ridiculous adds insult to injury considering how grossly overpriced this place is! So here we go I have to waste my off time dealing with this! AND nobody mentioned the ADDITIONAL $8 PER MONTH FEE JUST TO PAY THE BILL??? LOL This place is already SOOO OVER PRICED/EXPENSIVE it just adds insult to injury! ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING ITS SETUP ON AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS! PLUS THEY HAVE NO CLASSES AVAILABLE! Every time I show up for a class it’s closed down or cancelled!! I have yet to go workout and actually see a class in session. Very frustrating since this is the main reason I signed up. I really wanted yoga!! I won’t be renewing after promo period because of these issues AND because the very first day I went to workout Teresa at the front desk was SO UNBELIEVABLY RUDE to us I was in shock!!! They should keep that lady FAR AWAY FROM CLIENTS!! She is a NASTY person!! Made some very condescending remarks. Completely unprovoked and unprofessional. I hate confrontation and it really made me upset and uncomfortable. Especially considering this is supposed to be somewhere you come to DE-STRESS! Story is too long to add here. But happy to tell the managers!!
Now off I go to deal with this billing MESS on my day off!!! NOT COOL
New favorite in the neighborhood. Great sports complex with swim, racquet ball, tennis courts and steam/sauna +a complementary towel service. Friendly kids at the front desk, clean bathrooms, plenty of lockers and local friendly members. No hassle cancellation policy. What else can one ask for? ESP at a fairly reasonable price? Love this local gem!
