Quick Facts About Dirty Dog Pet Salon & Sitting
Dirty Dog Pet Salon & Sitting place has received mixed reviews from customers, with both positive and negative comments. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, these comments will be analyzed and expanded upon.
Starting with the strengths, multiple customers have mentioned the friendly and accommodating staff at Dirty Dog Pet Salon. Linda, the owner, has been commended for her personal approach and interactions with both the animals and the owners. This indicates that the salon prioritizes customer service and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Linda's willingness to accept dogs for boarding at the last minute, even in emergency situations, shows a dedication to meeting customer needs.
Another strength highlighted by customers is the quality of the services provided. Several customers mentioned that their dogs had a great time during their spa day and were well taken care of during boarding. This suggests that Dirty Dog Pet Salon ensures that the animals are comfortable and happy during their visits. Additionally, customers have praised the grooming skills of the salon, mentioning that their dogs looked fantastic after their appointments.
In terms of weaknesses, one significant issue seems to be the handling of animals during the grooming process. One customer reported that their male min pin had a terrible experience with the salon, as his nails were cut too short, causing ongoing difficulty in getting them trimmed. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the way double coated dogs were shaved, claiming that it made them look horrible. These comments indicate a possible lack of skill or attention to detail in grooming certain types of dogs, which could be a weakness for the salon.
Another negative aspect that has been highlighted is the mistreatment and rough handling of animals. One customer claimed that their dog was unable to walk or stand after visiting the salon and had to be taken to the vet for further treatment. If these allegations are true, it raises serious concerns about the care provided by Dirty Dog Pet Salon. Mistreatment of animals can severely damage the salon's reputation and should be addressed immediately.
Lastly, there was a comment about the salon being fully booked but offering walk-in services for nail clipping at a low cost. This demonstrates flexibility and affordability, which can be seen as strengths. However, it is important to note that the availability of walk-in services may indicate an issue with scheduling and could result in long wait times for customers.
In conclusion, Dirty Dog Pet Salon & Sitting place has strengths in terms of customer service, quality of services, and flexibility. The friendly and accommodating staff, along with the positive experiences reported by some customers, are strong indicators of these strengths. However, there are weaknesses to consider, including concerns about the handling of animals during grooming and allegations of mistreatment. These issues should be addressed promptly in order to improve customer satisfaction and ensure the well-being of the animals.

Linda and her staff have always been very accommodating and nice! We really appreciate how good they are to our fur babies when we leave them for boarding. I am also very grateful that Linda accepted our dogs for boarding even though I called last minute due to an emergency. Thank you!
Our fur baby Felicia (Filly) always has the best time with her spa day, and looks forward to the next. They do such an amazing job on her
Terrible experience for my male min pin. They cut his nails to short and to this day, I have a terrible time getting his nails cut because of it. And why do they always shave double coated dogs???? They make them look horrible!! Check out their Facebook page before you take your dog here! The pictures will show you how horrible they will make your fur baby look!
I didnt even want to give 1 star. They have know idea what they are doing the mistreat the animals and are overly ruff with them as well i think it should be put out of business... my dog went there a happy loving life dog and left unable to walk or stand. Now i have to take him to the doctor and if there is something wrong i will be taking legal action... horrible place be advised DONT TAKE YOUR PET THERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
Great crew and so nice!!! Did a great job with my dog!!
Fantastic people they have been caring our dogs for awhile!
I was visiting my granddaughter and needed my dogs nails clipped. I called and the owner said they're booked solid but we do walk in nail clipping, $5. Sweet!
I couldn't say enough about this place and Linda the owner. My parents and I have been taking our dogs here for years and Linda is so personal with everyone I see her interact with. I moved to Columbus a couple years ago and still haven't gotten a groomer anywhere else; with that being said, I drive an hour and a half to see her. Even with getting my new pup I wanted to make sure to drive him to Dirty Dogs because I knew I wanted to make sure his first grooming appointment would be a positive one for him and I trust that with Linda. If you want to know you're taking your cat or dog to someone who is good to your animals and to you this is where you go to or travel to!
