I have been going to Flip Flop nails for a couple years now and every time my mind is blown! The talent and attention to detail that everyone has here is just amazing!!! The best nail salon in Utah by far!
Emily is my new go-to. After moving here from out of state, I was stressed to try a new place because I was so used to my place back home and knew what kind of job they did. Everyone here was so welcoming and Emily assured me she could do this design, and se was right. It was a bit pricey BUT it was a tedious design and she was upfront about the price before she started so I don’t mind. I’m absolutely in love with my nails and I will 100% be coming back.
I recently started going to Flip Flop nails after my aunt recommended it to me. I was sick of going to other nail salons because of wait times & workers not being very kind. I am so happy I come to Flip Flop nails now!!! Majority of the staff is younger but they remember me & who I always see for my acrylic fill every 3-4 weeks. Usually Ivy or Emily does my acrylic nails. My nails don't seem to break anymore, just grow out because they take good care of them. I usually have to call a few days ahead of time to get in with Ivy or Emily. They do an amazing job & listen to what I want. I get gel pedicures & the seats are massaging. They also have high quality TVs on with different channels. Flip flop nails has so many colors to choose from both gel & regular. I love this salon & make me comfortable! They also offer a cash discount ;)
Annie did my nails and she did an amazing job!! She did my nails exactly how I wanted them. I got four compliments just going to pay for these. Everyone wanted to look at my nails. It made me feel so good about myself. I don’t get my nails done often but I will definitely be coming back here again! :D
Edit: I got these done over 6 months ago but I wanted to add that these nails lasted me about 2 months and even then I had to pull them off. They pulled off pretty easy since it had been so long but some of them needed a little extra help coming off still. If you are even considering getting your nails done here just do it! The money was definitely worth it.

Flip Flop Nails is the best! I’ve been coming here for years with my best friend. The 30 minute drive is always worth it! Super friendly and talented staff. The salon is always very clean and professional. They can do pretty much any designs or colors you want. Highly recommend ☺️☺️
Honestly I’ve been contemplating writing this review. But I feel like I should voice this.
So I’ve been coming to this place for about 8 months. At first they were very nice and did a really good job. I would normally just set the appointment and have any of the technicians do my nails. But once Emily did my nails, I absolutely love the way she did them. So I stuck with her. I would get my nails longer than what the average nail length is. Then there was one time that I went to get a new set and Emily seemed a bit bothered. And I asked her if everything was ok and she responded with telling me that it stresses her out doing my nails because it takes a long time because they’re very long. So I just told her that I was sorry that doing my nails is stressful (something that I should not have to apologize for as it is her job to do what the client wants and to do it happily). I let it sly. Mainly because it is really hard to find a good nail tech and I didn’t want to go out looking for a new one. So I continued to go to her. I even went as far as getting my nails done at a length that wouldn’t “stress” her out. The last time I went to her, she seemed very inconvenienced by doing my nails. At that point I said to myself? Maybe it’s just her. So next time I go in for a fill I will just schedule with any tech. So I go in again for a fill with someone different and that one wasn’t very nice either. And was doing my nails very rushed. When I’m paying anywhere from $50-$90 dollars for nails, I should be treated better. As it is your job to make us feel welcomed and enjoy the experience. I should expect the best! I will not be returning to this place again. I should have stopped going after I was told that I stress someone out because they’re doing my nails. But I believe in second chances so I gave them more than a second chance.
The staff here are awesome! I got Anna and I would literally request her next time. She gave a great pedicure and made sure nothing was too hot or uncomfortable. The facility is clean and beautiful. Would recommend it highly.
I have been to this business several times. Yesterday was the last time I will go there. Had a very mediocre (at best) pedicure, but the most annoying thing is that they are constantly trying to upsell you to the higher priced pedicure. When I said I only wanted the classic, it’s like you’re now considered a cheapskate. The classic pedicure is $30. I’m not paying $40 for a pedicure- especially a mediocre pedicure. My polish was sloppy, and she did not listen to me when I told her how short I need my nails. Too much competition out there to settle for mediocre work. And I don’t want to be up sold.
