Do not go to Freddy if you want your hair done properly.
I went in to get Senegalese twists. My hair looked *terrible* when she finished. It looked like I had gotten it done 6 weeks earlier when in reality it had been all of 20 minutes. The ends all looked terrible and were super glued very haphazardly and unevenly. There was no knots or anything keeping the extensions tied to my hair and they could literally just be pulled out with very little effort. And there were pretty big chunks of my own hair that she just…missed? Like they weren’t included in any twists and looked so so so raggedy.
Beyond that, the salon has been reduced to a very small, non-air conditioned room that was very dirty. Freddy herself was mostly nice, but can come across as rude and the whole time I was there, she kept saying she felt sick (she was speaking on the phone French and didn’t know that I also speak French), but didn’t mention anything to me about it.
I had to pay to get everything redone at another salon before even a week had passed. This was a waste of my time and money. She may have done well in the past, but I don’t think she’s got it anymore.
Freddy and Mimi were very nice and very quick. My knotless braids came out great!
I've been coming to Freddy for many years and every time, she delivers. She is fast and efficient. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and who's work is top notch , try her out. You won't be disappointed.!
If you go here. Don’t let the owner be the one to do your hair. She’s a lady braider that sneaks and cuts a lot of your hair and her parts are all different sizes. The other braider did a great job on the person she was braiding.
Freddy is the bomb..My hair is ultra thin and she was able to deliver...She was flexible and fit me ! She's very professional and understands your scalp!!!
Double booked and customer have to wait a long time. I spent 12 hours for a refresh that should have taken 3.
Gives a price then changes the price after she finishes the hair. She said my refresh would cost 70 for the top row, but then tried to charge me 120. Claiming that it took long. But it took long because she was double booked and jumping from head to head.
Multiple people working on your hair that did not make the braids with unison. Bad feeder braids. Bad refresh. Not a quality job.
Freddy did such a great job with my hair. She really made my experience very accommodating and helped me out when I didn’t bring enough hair to braid. It looks absolutely beautiful. Get your hair done by Freddy!!!
I love my hair it was Done exactly how I wanted it! I got small knotless braids I even came late and still was done a reasonable time. They listen and make sure you leave with exactly what you asked for!
