Quick Facts About Hyde Park Nail & Spa Inc
lady who did my nails was very nice and attentive, but unfortunately the results were not what I expected. The gel polish started chipping after just a few days and my nails looked uneven. I had to go back to have them fixed, but even then, they didn't last very long. I was disappointed with the quality of the service.
I went for a regular manicure and the technician rushed through it. My cuticles were not properly cleaned and my nails were left looking uneven. I also felt like they didn't pay attention to detail and just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible.
The prices here are definitely on the higher side compared to other nail salons in the area. It's understandable since it's located near colleges, but I don't think the quality justifies the price. I've had better services for a lower cost elsewhere.
The staff here is generally friendly and accommodating, but I didn't appreciate being asked for a tip. Tipping should be at the customer's discretion based on the quality of service, not something demanded by the staff. It made me feel uncomfortable and I would have preferred if they let me decide on my own whether or not to leave a tip.
I had a group of six people with me and the staff did a great job of accommodating us, especially considering we didn't have reservations. They were quick and efficient in serving all of us, and we appreciated that they used a clean set of tools for each person. The prices were also reasonable for the services provided.
I really enjoyed my hot rocks massage pedicure. It was incredibly relaxing and the end result was perfect. The staff was cute and nice, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and pampering experience.
On the other hand, some customers have had negative experiences at this nail salon. One customer mentioned that their nails became extremely thin and sensitive after the staff used a drill instead of soaking off the gel polish. This could indicate that the salon may not have the proper techniques or equipment to safely remove gel polish without damaging the nails.
Another customer mentioned feeling unappreciated as a loyal customer when they were turned away for a fix. This could be seen as unprofessional and may discourage other loyal customers from returning.
There were also complaints about the quality of the services provided. Some customers felt that they didn't receive a satisfactory result for the price they paid. This could suggest that the nail technicians may not be highly skilled or attentive to detail.
In conclusion, Hyde Park Nail & Spa Inc has strengths such as friendly and accommodating staff, reasonable prices, and relaxing services. However, there are weaknesses such as no attention to detail, inconsistencies in the quality of services provided, and potential issues with nail care techniques. These weaknesses may have a negative impact on the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

I really enjoyed my services here. I paid extra for a hot rocks massage pedicure and it was so relaxing. Not to mention my pedicure turned out perfect. The prices are adorable and the staff is so cute and nice. I would definitely recommend
Everyone was so kind and provided the best service i’ve ever had at a nail salon. Definitely recommend.
The staff was very kind and took a group of six of us almost right away although it was super busy and we didn't have reservations. Staff used a clean set of tools and kept the area clean! Good prices and quick and efficient!
UPDATE: This place is more expensive than others in the area for the same quality because of its proximity to the colleges. They use drills on your nails instead of soaking off the gel, which made my nails extremely thin, flimsy, and sensitive. It's a fine place but no longer my go-to.
I think it's tacky for the staff to ask for a tip, just let the customer automatic decide based off your work. I always give a tip anyway, I was turned off by her demand.
I came In for a manicure and Pedicure...the lady just trimmed my nails (I didn’t ask her to) and proceeded to just put gel polish no cuticles removal no nothing and the picture below is the result after just 5days! My pedicure gel polish peeled off one toe the same day I left the nail spa I paid $113 for 2 pedicures and 1 manicure and that’s the 5day result. Just DO BETTER ????
When a customer has an issue and they come back in to have it fixed and you turn them away… unprofessional, especially when it is a loyal, excellent tipper and consistent customer. Very poor business practice to treat loyal customers that way.
Excellent service every single time I go to this particular nail salon. Superb service
I wasn’t happy with my nails.
For the price I paid $53 I expected a better result.
When I ask the guy to break 10$ for the tip he made a face and said $10 it’s not even 20%. Tip should be optional if you satisfied with the job and the service. This place made me feel very disappointed and overcharged.I will not come back.
