If you are going to tip Jalal he is going to do a good quality work but if you don’t tip him he is just wasting your time the last time I was there he didn’t spend 20 minuets cutting my hair and when I got home that is how he cut my hair I will never ever go there anymore and will never suggest anyone.

Jalal was recommended to me by a co-worker of my wife. Been getting my hair cut by him for almost two years now. He does a great job every time. Just tell him what you want and he'll make it happen. Professional, friendly, affordable, and skilled. Please go see him if you're anywhere near Silver Spring. You won't be disappointed.

Always courteous and kind service. First time back this am since COVID hit and brought my 4 year old for his 1st cut with Jalal. 1st time he has NOT cried while getting his hair trimmed. I don't have much hair to cut any longer, but will be bringing my lil man back once a month.

Jalal is such a good guy. I've seen him be incredibly giving towards his customers and knows the majority of people who come into his shop! He gives great haircuts and leans into any accommodations you have!

I cannot recommend Jalal Barbershop highly enough! Jalal is extremely professional, personable, and skilled at his craft. I take my two young sons every month for haircuts. He is quick, kind, very attentive--and gives a great cut. I am oftentimes the only woman in the shop. I have never given this a second thought. The atmosphere is welcoming and respectful. It is a place I am proud to take my two young sons. You should check out Jalal -- you will not be disappointed!
